Chapter 166 - Chapter 165

In the same compound as the Twins 'prison or Oreki's current location,

In a certain room.

Zhou Gongjin is kneeling in front of the same skeletal-like figure sitting on a throne while roleplaying as an emperor or a king based on the regal attire it's wearing.

"Master, the plan is not going accordingly as just earlier the Kudou, Saegusa, and Yotusba declared war against us and the Great Asian Union," Gongjin explained.

"It seems so but..." The master replied as he recalled what they watched.

Both of them watched the passionate speech of Kudou Retsu during his press conference regarding the incident they had created. The summary of the Old Man speech is that they'll pursue vengeance against the attackers and they will not stop until they achieve the justice that all the victims deserve. He also added no one would be able to stop them from doing so, not even their fellow countrymen or the fellow members of the Ten Masters Clan. The speech earned passionate responses from the families of the victims and those who had an extreme belief.

A reporter asked the Old Man who would be the target of retaliation and Retsu straight up answered that It was the GAU. No one asked any further questions than that because the GAU also attacked Yokohoma during the 9SC attack resulting in more deaths which is obvious. The victims and the people of Japan don't know the reason for the attack but it does not matter anymore.

"Haha, they won't do anything" The master added "The Ten Master Clan won't allow them to move on their own. As for the JP Government? They're a bunch of cowards and pushovers so they'll stop this in the name of peace and prosperity" The master explained.

"I see then it's safe to say that I'll with the plan?" Gongjin said.

"Yes, send the Saegusa Twins to the New Kunlunfang Institute to lure the Bigger Fish" The master replied with a shit-eating grin from the other end of the Skeletal puppet. Yes, the skeletal figure sitting in front of Gongjin is just puppet control by the latter's Master. The current location of the master is unknown, and even his apprentice does not know it.

Gongjin also smirked and he was to reply when could reply back when he and to that extent the Master heard footsteps coming towards them. Both the smugness of Gongjin and the Master disappear as it turns to frown.

"Who's there.!?" Gongjin asked getting ready to attack with his magic while also looking at the figure appearing slowly. Gongjin's eyes widened as he saw who the figure was. It was the Bigger Fish that he and his Master trying to bait. He wanted to smile but couldn't because the bigger fish being here was not part of the plan.

"Do both of you Old Geezers know about the proverb of: Be careful what you fish for?" The bigger fish said " Whose name is none other than.

"Kamisato Oreki"

Silence permeates between them for a good two minutes. Oreki just smirked and stared at Gonjin making the latter get creeped out. However, he calmed himself down and asked "How did you get here?"

"I entered the door," Oreki answered while pointing to the door behind him with his thumb.

Gongjin frowns at the sarcastic answer and sees this expression from him. "Oh I'm sorry, I was knocking on the door and no one answered so I entered without permission," Oreki said while clasping his hands together "Am I bothering something?" He questioned.

The master laughed after "HAHAHA, Omoshiroi, Omoshiroi"

"I'm happy that you find that interesting because that was the last time you laughed," Oreki said with his eyes closed smiling happily.

"Oho! Interesting indeed but I doubt you'll be able to kill me because I'm not even here" The master replied and for some reason, the puppet was smirking.

"Heh, famous last words but I get to you later. In the meantime..." Oreki said before looking to Gongjin" I'll deal with Mr. Cool guy here. Feel free to watch how to kill him so you know the difference between us" He added with a smirk.

"HAHAHA," The master just laughed before saying in a serious manner "Do not disappoint me Gongjin." He added.

"Do we still need him alive for our Scientist?" Gongjin question.

"hmmmm... Half dead. Just kill him half dead" The master replied.

Gongjin turned and faced Oreki "Nothing personnel kid," Gongjin said as took a black talisman from the inner pocket of his Suit.

"Well, it's personal to me." Oreki said before putting his right arm forward "Human souls are insubstantial things. Writhe in agony! Zabaniya!" His arms turn red as it's get longer and longer while they move at a quick speed toward Gongjin.

Seeing this creepy hand approaching him, Gongjin retreated backward swiftly but the hand was faster than him so it made him run and dodge it using a Ghost walker. He was successful in dodging but the hand took a U-turn and chased after him.

"I'll give you a 5-minute time limit" Oreki shouted as he stood and watched Gongjin dodge the hand again. However the latter didn't want to be on the defensive only, He then used the black talisman and summoned a Shadow Beast in the shape of the wolf to attack Oreki.

Seeing the approaching, Oreki whistled "Wow, that's cool magic! But not as cool as Shadow Monarch" He said but he slapped himself for comparing Ashborn Magic to this low-level grunt magic "We could have a dog fight but Wildmutt is busy making shredded meat" He added before using his eye to make the Shadow Beast disappear like nothing.

Gongjin frowns seeing his opponent uses unknown Cast Jamming magic to destroy his Shadow Beast. He used the same magic again but this time he created just the first Shadow Beast, they disappeared before they could even pounce at Oreki. He considers using Genjuu but that magic relies on the anxiety levels of his opponent and based on what he is seeing, his opponent is the opposite of anxiety.

While Gongjin was contemplating what to do, he did not notice that the red hand that was chasing him was about to reach him and he only noticed it when it was only a meter closed, He panicked a bit before taking out a white handkerchief and using it a medium to used Barrier Magic.

The white handkerchief surrounded Gongjin creating an egg-like appearance from the outside view. He sighed in relief but that widened when he saw the hand pass through the barrier like it had an intangible ability. This time he was not able to react and dodge the hand before it touched the right side of his chest.

The red hand retracted to Oreki as soon as it did its purpose. "And it's done," He said as he wiggled his fingers.

Seeing that nothing happened to him, Gongjin prepared to attack again but he stopped himself after he saw a heart on the palm of Oreki. He does know why but he had a bad feeling about this. "Is that my heart?" He questioned.

Oreki smirked at Gongjin "10 points for Gryffindor" He said before tossing the heart upward slightly. He then conjures a bat while waiting for the right moment to swing. And when it started to fall down, Gongjin used Ghost Walker Magic to make Oreki miss the heart.

Oreki made a swinging motion before saying "Up, Up, and Away" He swung his bat hitting the heart and popping it like a piñata.

Gongjin stood motionless before falling face down and it was obvious, that he was already dead.

"And he's out!" Oreki shouted doing his best Umpire impression before looking at the skeletal puppet "So as you can see, he's dead" He said casually while walking towards the throne of skeleton.

"He was my best comrade," The master said in a sentimental tone.

Oreki ignores that and gives the master a chance to kill himself or Oreki will let him experience something worse than death.

"If you have the ability to find me then go ahead and try to find me" The master replied "And while you're trying to find me, I, Jiedo Hiegu promise that I'll have my revenge for this humiliation." The master named Jiedo Hiegu replied.

Oreki smirked as he expected this reply "Welp, I guess Mil-tan will have a new boytoy" He said before snapping his finger.

---

Somewhere in Dahan and In one of the hideouts of No-Head Dragon.

In a certain room with white walls, Hiegu was sitting in a lone chair in the middle of the room with his eyes closed beside him was a girl waiting for him to wake up as she wanted to report to him about the No-head Dragon operation. Unbeknown to her and Higue they won't have the chance anymore.

As soon as Oreki snapped his finger, Hiegu opened his eyes to disconnect from the puppet. However after he opened his eyes, he felt that he was falling. He tried to stabilize but it was late as he hit the ground face down. He groans in pain before standing up. He noticed that he was in a room opposite what room he came from. He tried to use magic but to no avail, nothing happened.

"Damn it! What's happening? Hello anybody there" Hiegu shouted lucky for him there was someone waiting outside and that someone was Mil-tan who opened the door for Hiegu.

"Kya! So it's true that if you made a wish to a Devil it will come true" Mil-tan shouted before entering the dark room and closing it. He walks menacingly toward Hiegu.

"What are you doing? Please let me out" Hiegu shouted as he tried to run away from Mil-tan but the space was so small that he had no way to run.

"Don't run darling because we're going to the promised paradise," Mil-tan said as he caught Hiegu.

"NOOOOO!!!!"
