Will Ozai face Thorian immediately? That's the question everyone was asking, but seeing all that enemy fleet, it seemed that wouldn't be the case, knowing that decision would also be foolish.
"Fire beneath the water; this is the first time I've seen something like this."
"Just on the surface..." Thorian murmured as he watched that fire grow bigger.
While everyone was waiting, hundreds of thousands of warriors arrived as time passed.
"Prepare the cannons; once the attacks start, all icebenders should form a platform to give our warriors a chance to recover in battle. Attack without mercy, and with everything we have, show no fear in your actions because our loved ones are behind us." Thorian gave this order mercilessly.
On both ends of the sea, all the troops they had at that moment and those that were not yet ready to fight had arrived. Any labor would be of great use here; everyone had in mind that they should be useful in at least something.
The first wave of fighters would be cannon fodder, a sacrifice worth making. Thorian had placed the most skilled soldiers behind the weakest because they are the primary forces that must endure all enemy attacks.
Those on the frontlines would give enough time for many to form and establish large-scale combat strategies.
"Send the first wave of cruisers; prepare the cannons and catapults. We'll wait to see what the enemy wants to do; if that man appears, then I'll take care of ending his life as soon as possible." Thorian's face remained expressionless, his voice firm and unwavering.
"The generals are biased in position, cannons and catapults ready, prepared to attack as soon as the order is given."
The first wave of warriors advancing in the cruisers knew what the result would be for them.
But none of them had doubts.
"Everyone, raise your best wine glass; to the best warriors this world will have the opportunity to see gathered in one place."
Thorian helped serve the glasses to these soon-to-be fighters.
Thorian looked at all these soldiers, raised his glass, and declared, "This glass of wine is for all those warriors who protect the future of their homes, the creation of a new empire, and the destruction of those who only want to see war. At this moment, I bid farewell to all of you, and surely we will meet again in the next life."
Thorian stated the facts, although it was very cruel.
This time the incident happened very suddenly, but everyone had their plans ready for a long time. There was absolutely nothing they hadn't foreseen before, so they were just hurrying things up a bit.
Furthermore, the first wave of attacks's mission is to reveal all the enemy's plans prepared for them.
As for the subsequent troops, their mission was to destroy all enemy cruisers so that later the elite troops would eliminate them all.
This is war, and in war, all battles are cruel and ruthless.
There was never a single battle where no one died or only the enemy died.
"This time the battle caught us off guard, but we've known for a long time that we are prepared. Show those invaders the power they have in their veins." Thorian's voice was cold and unfeeling, but everyone could hear it echoing in the air.
The whole place was silent; the ten thousand warriors who would start the attack had an unwavering determination in their eyes; hesitation, fear... Not a damn negative emotion appeared on their faces. Not even a bit.
"Remember, comrades, no matter who dies first or faster, what we know is that we are doing the right thing. Let's use our blood to change history. Let our children write with red ink what we will achieve today."
"Cheers!"
"Cheers!"
"Cheers!"
At once, ten thousand wine glasses were thrown into the sea.
"Brothers, let's go to war!" Some soldiers raised the coalition flags.
All cannons were aimed at the enemy.
At the same time, the enemy in the distance began to move at least the first waves.
This caused thirty cruisers to move along with the army to confront the enemy.
At that moment, the sky suddenly filled with fiery threads of fire; in response, the allied cannons and catapults attacked in the same way.
Ten thousand warriors moved toward the battle.
They were going to write the beginning of this story.
The entire legion soon began to take hits, but they knew what they were doing, and none looked back.
Suki's eyes shed tears, knowing that these brave people were being sent practically to die. She knew that Ozai didn't believe the enemy army would surrender if he killed Thorian; that's why he started the war early.
"They have an order: stop the enemy and cause them the greatest damage possible. We'll be behind all of you."
The cruisers advanced much faster than before.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Thorian unsheathed his sword and looked at Doki, who was clad in armor. He walked in front of him, and placing his forehead against Doki's, he murmured, "Friend, after this battle, you'll be free. Once I jump off your back, you must flee. Don't look back; don't stay by my side; just fly away, be happy, and live free."
Doki roared angrily because he didn't want to leave Thorian; he thought that maybe he could die and didn't want to think about it.
"There's no time to be sad; let's go to the battlefield."
But as he was about to leave, a hand held him firmly, and when Thorian turned around, he saw Suki staring at him. "I'm going; I have to take Ozai's life."
"Then make it worth it." Suki wanted to say more but couldn't. And when she thought Thorian would leave like this, he kissed her forehead and said, "May luck be on our side."
Without saying another word, Thorian climbed onto Doki's back, and looking at Brad, he said, "Take care, friend."
"Understood, sir!"
