Chapter 30 - Chapter 12 Preparation: Travel Arc:

Act 1 Night: Pov Chieftess Vivienne:

The night has come, Elmhelia had went to guard the western edge of The Summer-path that used to have ringed the entirety of the world but now broken in parts.

She had left her many champions and swords to guard the skies in her absent and those small lights where the one that kept are nights not fully eaten by the dark.

We had celebrated our victorious exploration of the 'Gods realm' until Elmhelia fully moved on, and at this night, I sat drinking an Ivory bowl of kumis, with my family, in my personal large Round yurt, with a young god drinking in a bigger bowl of wood, across me.

He, Cloudy, spoke his words as warm and lightly seemiring as the kumis we drank. "I am leaving at the beginning of the Earth season, but before that, I'll be visiting the local clans, gathering as much of what I would need for the road." He was as true with his words, as a man was when a girl finally squeeze his berry.

I look around, my family surrounding us pretending to be in there own conversations as they drunk there kumis and ate there crunchy salads. but I know they were paying attention to Lord Cloudy, very much interested at what he decides to do.

As he was drinking slowly, seemingly savoring the taste of the fruity honeyed fermented milk. I Chieftess Vivienne spoke my question, as the thought danced in my mind. "Have you decided where to go lord Cloudy?" I know he had studied within the Lore tent for more than a season, but that only means at most he would know where my clan and ancestral clans had been, and stories of the places we know of.

but some of those places might not exist anymore, or mistakenly replaced by our ancestors or lorekeepers, it wasn't underheard of that some of the less important records becoming recounted differently after each splitting of a clan.

He paused in his drink and sat it down, he barely halved it in his first sip, Then Lord Cloudy spoke. "I plan to visit your mother clan, in the Osirry Valley. I've grown interested in the news of the newly arrived clan, I want to see the ripening fruit of the sun and clouds making peace." His eyes soften at the word peace, very much the opposite of the hardened furry I saw, and he showed to everyone else when he saw my clan fighting off the native ram clan that finally showed themselves.

He then started humming a low melody, but somehow even as the noise of the family sized feast, celebrating around us I can still hear it clearly, and probably everyone else in my yurt.

As he hummed looking at the bowl, it started to turn from a light brown, to a darkening ebony. . .it was turning into stone, one of the gifts of this young god was something he called petrification of wood, or more simply, turning wood into blackened harden stone. he stopped his humming and then drunk the remaining kumis in one gulp.

And then using his blazing finger carved a rune on the bowl, it felt like a Summer rune, much like our chief goddess wields, but it looked like an Autumn rune, similar to the one lord 'Earth-weaver' followers use. but the design was new, as it was the first time I saw a symbol like this one.

As I focused on it I felt a warm passed me and made me lose my focus on it, and looked at lord Cloudy's eyes, as he spoke. "This is my token, place it upon a small mound of pebbles and that would work as an altar." He then looked around us and then continued, I looked around as well and saw that my family isn't even pretending anymore, gawking at the gift and the gods words.

Lord Cloudy continued as he gave a heavy breath. "My altar would only give one blessing, and that would be the ability to work any kind of stone, even the one I made." He said and I heard many gasps, as that is a powerful blessing, as even the stories from our past only told that gods of construction and stone that used to have pledge themselves to the Old-sun, can only bless our ancestors in working a single kind of stone at a time.

But this? this is new. . . Lord Cloudy Continued. "Only those that sacrifice their greatest work of stone can have the blessing unfortunately, I'm not powerful enough to give my blessing to an entire clan even with an Altar." Oh, that makes more sense, only crafters can receive the blessing.

I felt it a lot more acceptable and with his words he swayed even the skeptical elders, as they begun to believe the young god, rather than think him a new trickery great spirit. I unconsciously looked at my brother who was dressed in all black and wore the feathers of crows and ravens.

Then the Lord told us of the simple ceremony of adding the sacrificial Item on the mound, to get the blessing and that of purring the sweetest kumis the clan has available in the bowl if we want to contact him. and absolutely no living sacrifices, and if we do sacrifice meat, make it as well cooked as possible.

Then he, Lord Cloudy said. "I would be away for more than most of the lifetime of the people here." He looked around smiling more brightly on the very young and those who still laid in the bellies of their mothers. and sadly on those older, I included. "I would like to give a last parting gift to you Chieftess Vivienne, as your one of the few friends I made here in this forest."

I was flattered that I was considered a friend by a god, and saddened that after he left, I wouldn't be able to see him again. I looked down and saw my reflection on the gold mirror at my table, it was a minor treasure given to me a decade ago before I left my mother clan and given the duty to establish this one.

I saw the young woman who was given the chieftainship by the circle leaders of our mother clan, the Free-spirits, I was smiling as my older father chief of the clan most brilliant in flames, patting my head and encouraging me to lead the new clan like our warlike ancestors had done, but reminded me that our magic is what kept us, our old clan alive.

I'm suppose to be an old woman now, in her late middling years, my fur is supposed to be graying, turning a silver. and my strength and magic weakening but gaining a powerful purity. but no, I once again looked and felt like I was in my prime, a few years out of my youth.

But my magic as large or even more so than I remember it, yet keeping the purity I gained from my years of worship to my patron. My strength back to more than it was, yet my muscles kept the decades of refined martial skills I have cultivated in them since my early youth. . . I know with what Lord Cloudy had done by returning my youth, that I can lead my people for 10s of summers or more before I start weakening again.

Then an old thought struck me, the reason I was given a new clan to lead, rather than the older and more experienced nobles, when our clan splitted from our mother clan. . . my father would have led the clan, for decades or more before I could have been given the chance.

I looked at my daughters. . .I was still sad that my second child, my beloved boy, died young because of dangerous spirits we did not knew existed in our lands. I still remember the wrath I had for the shamans who were responsible for making sure such things would not happen, I was only stopped from exiling them or worse by my brothers jokes and sincerity.

My oldest was a few years into her youth, one of the newly initiated swords, from the Summer path guardians ritual. I wanted her to succeed me, as many supported her as she had gain a great reputation from sharing her explorations into this new home of ours.

But as she worships the 'Bright-eyed Wanderer' it would be hard to convince the other families to accept a chief that would leave the clan hall just to ride and explore are home's lands, once bored. I then looked at my youngest the last born from my missing husband.

She has a wisen spark in her eyes, making her too bright eyed, as she has greatest fun in the lore tent and the most curious child in her group, we guess that she might have already been claimed by our goddess of wisdom. it was uncommon, but sometimes the gods would claim a child as there devotee, even before they are initiated to adulthood.

I then looked at my second oldest, she had only become a youth this summer, and was initiated last sacred season. She was taken by our great ancestor, the half man, the First-rider, Founder of our people. Lady Cattosuri, She has great connection to our raptors, and able to solve many problems through peace between kin and clan, but she is also the only one among my children most reluctant in leadership.

She was to young and not that skilled when we made our Swords, I was afraid she would have been shattered in the furnace. I was being to a careful chieftess for doing so, but the people understood I was being a good mother as others did the same only sending the daughters and son they knew would overcome the ritual.

I breathed out and then placed my words together as I Vivienne friend of a god, spoke. "I would like for you to take one my daughters, as a companion or retainer in your journey. . .I would let you choose which one would best suit your travels." He looked surprise to my request and then I looked at my daughters and they were all excited, even my youngest but I know as smart as she is, she doesn't know the consequences if she was chosen.

Our ancestors still lament how many children they've lost when they were partly nomadic, as they went through the great exodus, being harassed by almost every other people in the wilds before finally settling and becoming the first rider clan.

The lord quickly left his surprise, and then gave me a smile then I felt a weight on my head. as Lord Cloudy spoke. "I promise, I would take care of her and that she would come home with a wonderful husband and a great hero of your people and gods." and then he stood and left, the room was quiet for a time and then my brother yelled.

Black feathered brother. "Cheers! didn't you hear will have another hero in our family!" and then everyone followed suit in the merriment, as he sang a lewd song about wild men and even wilder raptors. I smiled at his antics, and thought I was lucky, to have a such a great family and blessed clan.

Act 2 Contact:

I was meditating clearing my mind and connecting myself to my true body, my egg. And then I felt a pull, on my gates, a message and from what I felt, it was my masters, psionic pulse.

I saw a vision of him and my Vibranty friend, seating near my main body my master using a transparent miniature body projection and my snake like friend sitting on her wrapped tail. "Here he is, told you I can connect you two." My master Green Skies praised himself as I connected with my friend.

She showed me of the stars and worlds she had explored and showed me images that telling me if I want to come with her, in her next exploration of another nearby starcluster that the turtles have already psionically explored.

I was tempted, but I still want to sharpen my understanding of psionics in the worlds of the turtles, so I showed her the things I've seen, the places I've been, and the people I've met. and then stitched together a string of images telling her I want to learn my new gifts first, before exploring the stars with her.

She spent a long time going through my images, and my master spoke. "Young Abyss, you're not that good at the Vibranty's language I predict it would take her a time, before she gives her answer." I gave him a pulse of agreement and then gave the vibranty a goodbye and a feeling that she called talk to me anytime as I left her a psionic mark, on the hand touching my shell.

Act 3 Sled:

And done, I was standing and smiling at the bigger and more solid sled that I've made from petrified and harden elder wood, it was big enough for me and another my size to comfortably sleep on.

I tried making it into a hand pulled wagon, but every time I make a wooden wheel and placed an axel on the sled, the wheel itself would break, or not move without disassembling, from the sled.

I asked my friend Aspen about this, and he said he wasn't sure, but it might be because only the wheels have the blessing of the warcart goddess. it might be her doing why my work keeps failing, I went to the lore tent and asked the lorekeepers and the ancestors that would humor me.

And they thought the same thing, I went to the sacred shrine grounds, where the Honey-rose clan built all there altars and shrines, and I saw my own altar, and it already had two sacrifices given by my devotees, a shiny green river stone, and a necklace of stone beads.

The one I gifted with the blessing to understand rock was tending to the altar adding stones found in the pasture lands and the close by river. I Cloudy spoke to her. "Sunsetia, you don't need to add more stones on the altar mond, it wouldn't make it more powerful. . .giving it stone work, freely given though? that would make it more powerful, but would only work once a year for people that had already gained my blessing."

She dropped her bucket of pebbles and turned around and immediately bowed to me, I picked up a stone that felt lighter than it looked and then cracked it in half revealing a small blue gem inside.

I looked at her and then the stone and then the bucket and before I can speak she started holding my leg and pleadingly Sunsetia spoke. "Please my lord! I'm sorry! I was using your altar as a place to hide my future gifts!" I let her continue and she explained that she looks and gather special rocks and then gives it to the crafters and that as her way to contribute to the clan.

Many already know this and let her do this as my priest instead of helping with the herd or hunting. now she can hang out with the safer exploration missions of the Zarlanne worshipers, or just look through there clan lands for craft materials.

After her answers and words she Sunsetia said. "Why are you here my lord? In your time in our clan, this is only your second time here. did you need something?" I told her I wanted to ask the gods about a problem. as she understood I would need the priests helped she went and gathered some of them.

Infront of a group of priests and priestesses. I Cloudy spoke. "I want to offer a sacrifice to the gods, and hopefully they answer a question of mine, who do you think would help the most? I want to ask why I can't make a wagon, it's basically a sled but with four wheels pulled by a person or animal." they were curious at my question especially those who worship the 'Advice-giver' they started debating among themselves.

There debate ended in too two camps, one wanted me to ask the 'Guardian-sun' to ask her daughter if she had cursed me and to lift it if she did, or the 'Advice-giver' to give me guidance, in my creation of something new or rediscovery.

My first thoughts where did I get curse? I wasn't sure and when I asked them if I was cursed, they didn't know, usually they would ask the gods or spirits or there ancestors if they got cursed or not. they didn't feel I had chaos in me the great enemy of all the gods, but that's it.

I was very tempted to ask Elmhelia but I don't want to see her after she pounded me into the a ground a few weeks ago. but I do want to check if I was cursed. . . Sigh, I'll try talking to their wisdom goddess first.

That night I was Infront of their shrine to her, as it was altar inside a small open yurt shaped, fired grey bricked house. I placed my sacrifice inside the house as the priests sang next to me, winging there prayers to be heard by the 'Advice-giver'.

I Cloudy spoke as my sacrifice laid inside the small house shrine. "Lady Relanddri, I sacrifice a magic treasure I've made, I call it a light-stone, able to Illuminate a room for eternity or be activated and explode in a burst of light." I spoke to her with respect, one knee on the cold grass of the Honey-rose's holy ground.

Then the sacrifice started to burn and disappeared, I felt the eyes and presence of something powerful, but not as powerful as Elmhelia nor even an inch of the psionic mastery of my master. I Cloudy continued. "Wisdom goddess of the Cottorings and the Samheli I asked two questions am I cursed by another god? and why can't I make a wagon, from placing wheels on my sled." The presence flickered as I spoke, but then fire bursted inside the shrine, and then I was in front of a translucent figure.

The priest kept there song but they kneeled and bow towards this manifestation of there goddess. It really does look like the soul projection of my master. I thought to myself as I looked at her closely and not have my eyes eating dirt.

Lady Relanddri spoke, her words held fire, and her eyes shone only less brightly as the 'Guardian-sun' but unlike her, she felt tamer and wiser rather than commanding and ferocious. "I am the one who had sorted the people of the raptors and gave the people of wheels there ranks and both gave their leaders wisdom. . .And I tell you now, you are not cursed, new god of the world."

She was smiling at me, and I felt strict mothering from her. I bowed at her showing her respect for she might be much, much older than I was if she is god like those that my planet had dreamed of and then I Cloudy spoke. "Wise Lady, I thank you for making sure I wasn't curse my next question is. . ." Before I asked my question she answered swiftly.

we an almost amuse smile, Lady Relanddri told me. "You do not possess wheel magic naive child, you have a powerful runic nature of life giving flames, and you've assimilated somehow portions of the earth and wild runes in your being while living as a forest god. . .But wheel magic is from a rune opposite of the wilds, the represent order, structure and society. . . something we had sadly left many of behind." She was quiet as I felt sadness in her.

Lady Relanddri continued her eyes close and her woolen dressed back, facing me. "Seek the daughters of Gilded-chain Samhel, they will be able to connect you to her, please her enough and she would share her secrets." Then after that she disappeared in a sparkle of light. the priests, whooped and celebrated as they said they had just gained their goddesses favor.

Act 4 Visiting the wheels:

The next day I made a few hundred smaller obsidian bricks and two pots of my Amber-paste, and then with some other goods in my sled, I travelled to the newly settled wheel clan that I made friends with. The circle leaders heard of my plan and asked to join me as they needed to send a gift giver anyways, to harden relations and such.

So I let them, I like it when they don't fight. After all I've seen more conflict than I like. we moved through the sparser forest of trees unlike the denser woods deeper in the forest.

We followed the river as Achycia the Chamber diplomat, had told me that there village would be up river, from the Honey-rose clan. as we did it took only took an hour of running when I start smelling fire and saw smoke in the distance.

Cloudy spoke as I was now walking. "Where close, if you guys like to, you can ride behind me, I promise I'll walk slower." I felt them very fizzled as I know they were not used to moving 60 miles an hour, there mounts seemed better than there riders.

They told me they needed to look strong and not sicken by a fast ride, so I waited for them to fix themselves and moved when they told me they were ready.

It took us another hour of them riding at a trot and I shrinking to my smaller form to better match there speed, before where reached a plateauing hill and where a creek flows in both sides of it cutting a stream of the river we where following.

I saw wooden poles with feather and a circle near the beginning of the stream, is this there marker? my question was answered by on of my traveling companions. "That's a boundary totem of the wheels Lord Cloudy, they might be leaving up on that flat topped hill." I guess so. as I was about to continue I was stopped by the noble leading the party.

She was dressed in a woolen light-blue long skirted tunic, and grey loose pants that was tied with string, prevent it from becoming a hindrance. Over her clothes she wore a knee long green furred jerkin, with many golden buttons and golden pieces on her belt. Her name was Lilianni, a noble and devotee of their trading-god.

Lilianni spoke as she stopped me. "Lord Cloudy! please it would be considered rude or at worse devious to come into some else's land once they placed boundary sign. we need to adhere to hospitality." She finished her words as she lifted up her banner like pole it had cloth, and bells on it and metal incense burners. She called it their clan's banner of peace.

She rang the many golden chimes and bells on her banner and sang, our other party members sang with her, and then I looked towards the flatten hill and saw herder looking down at us and when they saw as ran screaming deeper on the hill. I shrugged and sat on my sled and watch as the delegation I came with kept singing pacing themselves.

Within a few minutes four warcarts rode down the hill pulled by two smaller raptors each, and more than a dozen footmen with spears and shields marching down behind the warcarts.

I didn't recognize the one who had come to greet us, but the young woman riding beside her was the friend I knew that can't keep her kumis down. The clear leader of the group spoke she was an older woman closer to the age of Vivienne before I unwittingly made her younger.

The leader spoke. "I am Rozalia chieftess of the Fire-wheat clan and I welcome you wayward cousins, to our lands." She looked over the delegation and the gifts strapped to the backs of there raptors and then looked at me and gave me a small bow.

Rozalia with more respect than I thought there culture are capable off, spoke to me. "And I am blessed to have the honor to grant hospitality to a new god." huh, well it seems they learned of my presumed status from the time when I feasted with them.

The delegation from the Honey-rose clan started the dialog, they first officially welcomed the Fire-wheat clan into the emerald forest outskirts, telling of their want for peace atleast until everyone is fully settled, the chieftess agreed and was actually touched by the offer. and then the delegation gave gifts, bags of wheat, a bags of dried fruits and a few bags of cured meats. 15 bags of food in total, enough to feed 5 families for weeks. and then blankets of wool, newly woven and washed in flower water.

Overall the goods were worth 20 goattles, a large gift. after they gave their gifts they asked for better relations between their clans and the chief promised the Honey-rose clan would be considered friends by the Fire-wheat clan. and then asked as to join them for a modest feast.

We did, I followed along, the delegation leader speaking with the nobles with including Achycia. I was next to the Chieftess of the Fire-wheat clan, as I walked dragging my sled and she rode with her Shield, next to me.

She smiled at me and spoke. "That seems heavy Lord Cloudy." She was trying to be subtle but I felt she was curious at why I was dragging such a large sled and how powerful I might be to able to do such a thing.

I Cloudy Answered her lightly. "A gift for another gift, I would like many things from your clan Chieftess Rozalia, but I would only ask them if I knew my gifts where the right ones and if your able to reciprocate them." She seemed thoughtful and calm but I felt great worry inside her as she looked at the many quality bricked stones, and large pots with my symbol in them. being dragged behind us.

I wasn't trying to make her uncomfortable, as I was only being honest, and from what I learned from the lore tent of the Honey-rose clan, that being sincere with the warcarters in making deals, usually ends up in them giving you the better deal to show there more superior a culture.

Is it because she thinks I'm a god and that she might not be able to give me what I wanted even if she sold her entire herd? I worry that I might have made it seem my price to costly. Cloudy spoke "I want to ask your goddess Samhel, if she can share her magic of the wheel to me, and if I can recruit a few of your people to come with me as I explore, be warn though, they'll need to be prepared to be gone for years." I gave my wants more in detail to her as we come upon there village.

I saw the houses half built, and more than a few sharing large square yurts as shelter, and many more working to prepare a large field to be planted on the next Sea-season, the herdswoman letting there small herds of Goattles, grazing on the grass stacked on the side of the fields, drying.

I left my sled in what looked like a commons square of there's, as small bazaar like shops where laid selling things like crafts, food, and live animals. I Cloudy spoke again. "I will give you these as my gift chieftess Rozalia, a few hundred bricks of black stones, two pots of cementing paste and a few sleeping matts."

I looked at the chieftess as I told her of my gifts and then explained what a cementing paste was and that it's better than the mortar they used in building with stone and it could be used as wood plaster. She was grateful and told me she'll try to fulfill my request and then she led us to a part of commons square with benches as there cooks made us a small feast.

There food was great, the soup was hearty with many wild vegetables and grain thickening it, many Crunchy sides of cold sliced vegetables, and roasted and steamed meats, and fresh fruits. . . it was a good large lunch with many people eating with us.

When the sun had set, the Chieftess of the Fire-wheat clan offered to house the delegation, and then at night as many drank kumis to celebrate a hard days work, I was approached by the priests of the Fire-wheat clan.

They told me they would take a few days to prepare a ceremony I said yes and publicly given them stones that would glow with fire once some sang to them. I Cloudy Spoke "Here use this as part of my offering use as much as you need to contact the 'Warcart-goddess' and keep the rest." They look really happy at my gifts and then left towards what I think they're altar to the 'First Warcarter' Chieftess made toast for me and the delegation for our generosity. and her people seem to like her more because of it, cheering her power and influence.

Later at the night as I was now next to the chieftess listening to stories of there march from the Osirry valley to the emerald forest and the things they've encountered. Chieftess Rozalia spoke to me after the stories. "My hospitality would be valid until you talk with our goddess, and I heard the delegation would stay with you until you return to the Honey-rose clan."

Yes they told me they would stay instead of leaving in the afternoon as tradition dictates, I even sent a message to my altar to tell my devotee to inform the chieftess that will be gone for at most a week.

I Cloudy converse with her. "Yes they were very persistent, will help your people settle in, while were here as your guests, I can probably help your people build homes with the bricks I brought and help build with things your can produce." I told her of my idea of how I can help her clan while where here.

Chieftess Rozalia countered her gaze sharper than usual. "No I can't have that, it might be fine if you did that with our wilder lazier cousins, but us Samheli would think less of ourselves if a god would was needed to build are houses for us. after all we believe the gods, would only bless are works, if worked hard on it ourselves, and ask for there help only on our most desperate or on very difficult problems."

I really wanted to build houses in my time here. . . It was my hubby after all, so I tried convincing her. "Long ago the lines between mortals and the gods were blurred, as young gods where the same in power as heroic mortals. . .and both worked together in build the radiant empire. some heroes became heroic spirits as they aged and the young gods mature and took their places in there pantheons." I did not convince her directly but told a story I learned from the oldest ancestral spirits who was alive during the golden city, still standing proud within the radiant empire.

She looked furious, after listening to my words, but her shield next to us poured her more kumis, and then looked her in the eyes, this made her breath out, a calming herself.

Chieftess Rozalia spoke, her voice calm and even. "I. . .you didn't need to remind of the golden era Lord Cloudy, and I am grateful for the help you would give us, and if a clanswoman would is useful to your travel, you can take them with you, if you promise to keep them safe and let them return if they want too." I stood up and turned the wooden bowl I was drinking in into another holy token of mine.

I Cloudy spoke, my voice like that of a soothing flame yet it's warmth reached everyone within the village. "I Cloudy, give this oath, to Chieftess Rozalia that her people, who would accompany me in my journey, would be under my protection and would be allowed to return home once they had enough of my travels. I swear upon this token of mine, for If I break my oath, this would break with it." I gave my token to Rozalia and told her clan, can make an altar with my token or just keep it and use it as a treasure to contact me using kumis.

She was grateful with me making her image greater in the eyes of her people and for the holy treasure, she said she would build my altar as she told me the blessing would help there people, but later after the talk with their founder goddess.

I understood she wanted her clan, not insulting there goddess by building an altar dedicated to a god that she doesn't like, so I accepted this as I know no matter what happens everything would be fine, even without the wheels I can still use my sled but it would be sad I can't bring more stuff with me.

Act 5 Samhel:

I was with my mother, fighting this new enemy called chaos, my Blessed warcarters, heroic spirits born and raised by my descendants, fighting at my side. but I saw them getting whittled down, there light flickering as they laid on the blackening grass hurt and dying, there golden carts upturned.

I cannot let this go further. "Shields! to me!" I yelled and charge towards a champion of chaos, and then slew it with the blazing blades of my warcart, the battle was soon over the disgusting meat ball with claws and fang laid dead and I looked towards my mother and seeing she was fine with her Swords and Shields around her.

I breathed out and then felt a pull, and then power surge within me and as suddenly a stone manifested from fire appeared in my hand, I felt the rune of summer within it and it was powerful, did my descendants gave this to me as an offering? where did they even get such a treasure?

I reached into my own summer rune, the place I was in was not that dreadful battlefield against chaos, but a throne chamber and as I looked down upon my seat. I saw three of my blessed Shields Infront of me kneeling as there bells was signing.

I Samhel spoke "Is my descendants calling for me, loyal Shields? are your children in danger?" From what I know of my descendants after that damn Cold-sun destroyed my home, my children splitted whenever they become to big to support themselves in an area. . . I really should find a suitable earth god, with him my kids would have more earth gods that can feed them and me.

One of my Shields spoke, she looked old which was odd because most of my Shields prefer to look like they were in their prime while they were alive. "It is the clan under me my Lady, they have encountered a young god that wanted to talk to you and he was the one who gave the sacrifice."

I looked at the small treasure in my hand, I felt that if I were to fill it with my magic, it would explode with the power of my might and those who had channeled their own power within it, burning anything that doesn't have the summer rune within them.

A strategic weapon, let's talk to this youngster. . .as I was about to send a portion of myself through the altar of my descendant's a heard a knock and the doors of my throne chamber oppenned, who showed was quite the pleasant surprise.

I Samhel spoke in respectful greeting as I stood up. "Aunty Relanddri! good for you to come, why the sudden visit? is it another battle? I am ready. . ."She held up her hand and I quieted down as I learned not to overstep when it came to this aunty.

Her voice held a quiet flame within it, like ambers on wood waiting for a chance to ignite and become an inferno. "The god you'll be meeting is an Earth god, newly born from the world, but he was also born from the beyond, Cousin Elmhelia wants him to join our pantheon. do not do anything too foolish niece." And with that my aunty was gone, cousin to my father, known as the Wise-sun. one of the loyal adopted daughter of grandmother Amarelm.

I took heart from her advice, and then sent a portion of myself to the mortal world and as I appeared in flames I was looking up to meet the eyes with one of the most sexy, little piece of earth god I've seen, maybe Pellet was little better last time I've seen him, but he is an adopted son of father Aknyald and my brother by marriage. . . and he doesn't like me and I can't force him, like the good old days.

look up at the softly smiling young earth god, was very much a challenge in controlling my impulse to chain him and drag him to my portion of the summer court. . .which I really wanted to do, but the advice of my aunty, my fear of angering father, my own control and the level of power of the summer rune I feel within him, that exceeds the power of manifestation, all of that stayed my hand. but I was still tempted to try.

I Samhel spoke in a powerful voice like that of a roaring fire. and as bright as a new dawn. "Tell me young god of the earth, what do you need of me daughter of the Guardian-sun, Founder of a people, first Warcarter. tell of your need of me, and I will listen." I was giving the young god a smirk as his face showed surprise, he might have just been enchanted by my presence, with any luck I might be able to court this one.
