But did he have such ability? No it must be the weapon, he had heard of some weapons with special abilities in them.

He stopped training for a moment before deciding to try out something, his going to add his only ability in training.

The domain seem to revolve around him, making his swings stronger his moments swifter and stronger.
He tried compressing the domain trying to make it a bit smaller as it shrinked more and more to two metre around him his energy consumption continued to increase and his power also rose as well.
Until his aura levels ran into a low state making him incomparably tired but he persisted he wanted to test the other ability of the domain.

He continued swinging in this state of low aura until he couldn't anymore. He sat down on the ground exhausted.

And the sword could store some energy in it as one of its ability.
He suddenly found the key to understanding his abilities soon.
His smile grew more.
He continued resting to regain some lost aura before he continued experimenting his abilities again.
This time he activated 'Gloom Domain' but didn't train as usual, instead he walked around the courtyard his ability activated to the minimum.
Looking for objects with enough Shadow reflecting from them to experiment on his shadow aspect. He noticed a wooden bench by the side in the court-yard.
He crouch down and placed his hand on the reflected shadow trying to manipulate it.
"But nothing seem to work, with his domain still active he decided to stimulate his emotions and enter a gloomy state.
He looked into his memories he shut away; how painful it felt to get his bones broken in a sparring match against Dame."
"All of this caused by that instructor but if only he was powerful enough that shameful moment wouldn't have happened where he was throwed like a ragdoll."
His original expression darken and circles form on his eyes a gloomy aura surround him amplified by his domain the originally bright surroundings became dim allowing the shadows to darken more.
"Jacob in this state was quite aware of his surroundings but he didn't care."
He stretched his arms and the katana lying on the ground dissipated and materialized in his arm.
He slashed at the bench shadow causally, and a transfer seem to have happened and a deep cut mark appeared on the bench.
Jacob didn't use much strength in his casual attitude, only a deep cut at the base of the bench due to the sharpness.

Jacob nodded in satisfaction seeing this he now found a path to awaken space related abilities by increasing his understanding in shadow reach.
Maybe he could get an ability like shadow step it would be cool.

He looked at the katana and willed it and it turned into a wisp of dark light and disappeared.
One of the abilities of the system is an inventory space, he easily stored the katana.
He still felt weak after spending so much energy.

He decided to order aura restoration pills and rest a bit.
