We were obviously hopeless, everything we have done for the past two weeks seemed to be in vain, our classmates dropped out again and now out of fourteen we were now six. We had no idea what's going on but whatever it was we were failing and we were so close to prove them right.
Most of the teachers voted that our class be discontinued, even Ms. Jackson tried to ask the other teachers for us to enroll in their classes. But we was just laughed at in her face.
We were unable to continue with our training and trials, when it was time for the school grades tracking we weren't invited nor were we even in the run.
"It's over for us guys, let's just forget about everything and accept that we tried and failed" Luke said.
"Yeah there's nothing left for us anymore, let's jump of this sinking ship with our dignity still attached to us" said Sally packing her belongings.
None of us bothered to fight back, we just looked at each other it was our third week now, Wednesday was it.
"There's something we have to do" Otto suggested.
"How Otto? How?" Chris asked.
"I don't know but something like fight!" said Otto eagerly.
What were we supposed to do just storm right into the office of Madam Virginia and protest for equal rights, that ship sailed a long time ago we lost our rights the moment we were registered under class D.
To our surprise Ms. Jackson and Sgt. Randy Hart, by the look of it she was ashamed even to face us... I don't know what had happened but the smirk on the face on Sgt. Randy, something sinister was bound to befall on us.
"Well, well, well. Look what we got here the last survivors, I'm pretty impress Penelope this is outstanding" said Sgt. Hart.
"What do you want, Baby Adolf?" I asked.
Though our room was filled with negative energy but when I made that comment, that kinda lifted everyone's spirits. Cause I saw my friends chuckle a bit and as for Ms. Jackson she just let it all out.
"Oh so you are the smart one, heh?" asked Sgt. Hart.
"Nope I'm pretty sure I'm the tall one" I answered.
That alone broke the laughs out that my friends were trying to hold and hide.
As for Sgt. Hart he was so embarrassing his face turned red, I kinda imagined him in a bip and a pacifier on his mouth.
"That's enough you delinquents!" Sgt. Hart grumpy.
"Say what you want and leave you ain't the right height to enter this class" Luke said.
All of us just continued to laugh, we didn't even give him the chance to say what he wanted to say. He just stood there just one more joke he would have cried.
"Randy, what's going on here?!" a woman's voice asked out of nowhere.
That was Madam Virginia, what was she doing here in our class she never came here. So eerie she turned the whole room feeling all evil and cold like an evil spirit just entered.
"What's happening?" Otto asked in fear.
"I don't know, but" said Chrysler.
"It's something evil and monstrous" Chris continued.
We took a look to see what was that, that just entered our class.... What if it's something unexplainable. To our disappointment it was Madam Virginia.
"Oh that explains a lot" said Luke.
"Shut up, you devil's!" Madam Virginia in anger.
"Guys please listen to them" Ms. Jackson pleaded with us.
By this time we've fallen for her, she was like our mother now.... We hated seeing her bullied by these teachers so we listened to her request. All of just sitted and payed attention.
"You little monsters aren't deserving of this kindness I'm about to show you" Madam Virginia said.
"You delinquents will fail anyway, I don't even understand why are we doing this but it sure will make payday come early" Sgt. Hart emphasized.
We muttered as a class and asked ourselves what were they on about.
"Shut up! And listen to us" roared Madam Virginia.
"Before the end of this trial, since all of you are going to fail either way. We are going to have a tournament of classes, they'll be different courses, different games and the ones that pass.... Will go to the tournament final to fight the selected graduates" Sgt. Hart said happily.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Oh let me put it in delinquents term, you are going to take part of the games we'll hold at the graduation, and you'll play every game we choose for you and if you fail you are going to be expelled from the school and the base" confirmed Madam Virginia.
"So in other words you want to embarrass us in front of your kids?" Sally asked.
"Uh-huh and it's a challenge you don't have no free will no reject" Ms. Jackson said crying.
"So it's a challenge?" Otto asked.
"That is bound for us to fail" I said.
