Finally! Seeing that ninety-nine percent all day long is something that bothers me. A second later, three lists appear in front of me.
[Eidetic Memory]
[Imanity Race Piece]
[High Multitasking]
Huh? It only has three bonuses. Is it because Shiro is less powerful than the other two? Maybe. I don't know what kind of limitation with the system I have. I shake my head and look at the list of bonuses in front of me.
The first one is something I did not want. It might be great, but it will not be good in the long run. Why? I don't think a perfect memory will be good for my mental health. Sometimes, there is a memory that needs to be forgotten.
The second one is something that I did not know I would get. The system already gave me an explanation about the second one. It's a King Piece from the anime No Game No Life. The symbol of humanity in the Disboard world. It did not tell me much other than this piece will grant humanity who is willing to follow me the ability to break our fate. That's it.
However, even with that little explanation, I still want to take this bonus. This world is full of things that can affect my fate or some bullshit like that.
As for the last one… It is great. Don't get me wrong. If not for the second one, I will take this one. Superhuman multitasking is something you want, especially when you are a faction leader. It will cut my workload by a lot.
Sadly, the second one is too powerful for me to ignore. I press the second one, and suddenly, a king piece appears in front of me, floating. I pick the chess piece, and I can make a connection between me and the Race Piece.
However, as I take the Race Piece, my room changes, and I take out my weapons from its box alongside my animal box.
"Interesting!"
I turn around and see a young man with blond hair. He is wearing a beret with a brim and a yellow clover on top of it. His eyes are two different colors, and each eye has a shape. His left pupil is a spade shape, and his right pupil is a diamond shape.
I know him. I know this familiar being.
"Are you Tet, the One True God of Disboard?"
His grin gets bigger, and he says.
"Yup~ You are interesting! Do you want to play with me?"
I blink for a second before releasing a sigh of relief. Right. Tet is not like any Gods in this world. He is the God of Games and rather benevolent. I smile at him and say.
"Not now, sorry. At the moment, my people need me. When I have time, I will visit your world and play some games with you."
Tet looks at me in happiness and says.
"Then it is a deal! Shall we swear?"
I raise my right hand and say.
"Aschente"
Tet nods happily and does the same.
"Aschente! I shall watch you from now on and wait for the day we will play!"
After saying that, the world changes again, and I return to my office. The reason why I agree with this deal is because I want to visit his world to take some kind of forgotten magical weapons or things that we can use in this world.
Playing with Tet is not bad. As the God of Games, he will not create a rigged game. It is not his nature to do so, and I have a chance to win against him. It is a small chance but a chance nonetheless. I will think about it later.
For now, I need to see which template I will get next.
[Randomizing the next character template… Congratulations! You get Yashiro Isana / Adolf K. Weismann (Project K)]
I grunt a little at the rush of knowledge and energy coursing through my body. It lasts for a couple of minutes before the pain goes away and leaves me with a silver aura surrounding me. The power from this template is like the power I get from Byakuran. However, instead of Dying Will Flame, I get something called Aura, and I get something called Silver Aura, which lets me control gravity. Just like Dying Will Flame, I can take others as my subordinates, but unlike Dying Will Flame, they cannot awaken this power. I need to give it to them and accept them as my clansmen. They will get the lesser power of Silver Aura instead of the full version in me. They can get it stronger, but there is a hard cap, which is me—the more powerful my aura is, the higher the cap of their power is as well.
Just like Sky Flame, which makes my people more loyal to me, the aura also increases their sense of loyalty to their clan leader, which is me. If the Dying Sky Flame gives me the title of a Sky, this power gives me the title of Silver King.
I cannot wait to test this new power. As I am about to stand up, I hear a knock on the door.
"Come in."
However, the door slammed up instead of a gentle swing, and I could see a familiar white-haired young man grinning.
"Vale! I came to play!"
However, when Byakuran's eyes landed on me, his eyes widened up and said,
"Vale! You are different!"
==||==
"Come one! Come one! Show me!"
"Yeah. Yeah. You didn't need to drag me."
Byakura decided to ask me (demanded) that I show him my new power. So here we are, in the training ground outside of the mansion. I can only shake my head when I see Byakuran grinning at me, standing on the opposite side of me.
He wants me to show the power through sparring, and he will be my opponent.
I release a sigh when I see my guest has already arrived, eager to watch the spar. Oh well. There is nothing I can do in this situation because, as a new Silver King, there is something that I cannot hide once I get this power. Something that will soon appear.
"Come on, Vale! Give it to me! Show me your power! Don't worry! I can take it!"
I nod and take a deep breath. A second later, a silver aura appears around my body, but what makes people have a surprised expression is the thing that appears above me. It is a sword made of silver steel that shines under the sun.
This sword has a long blade, and its grip has a curving, long segment that curves from the left side to just a bit farther than the middle of the blade on the right side. The sword has orbs representing the seven Kingly colors. The Silver orb is in the center of the cross guard, and the Gold orb settles in the middle of the blade directly below the Silver orb. The Red (right side) and Blue (left side) orbs are on the curved sides of the cross guard. On the right, above the red orb, is the Colourless orb set on a tiny curve. The top of the handle contains the Green orb, and near the tip of the sword is the orb of the Grey King.
This is the symbol of the Silver King, the symbol of the Millefiore Family from now on.
I look at Byakuran and say.
"Here I come!"
