I look at the letter in front of me with a smile. The Golden Dawn is willing to send its members to help us with the offensive attack against the Tepes Clan. They will send their members here, and they will arrive here in a week. I read the second paper, which is the list of people who will come here. Twelve people will come here.
"Oh? Interesting."
My eyes see a familiar name in the list.
"Le Fay Pendragon, huh?"
Among the magicians worldwide, a few names can be said to be the most powerful or have limitless talent. Le Fay Pendragon is among those names, as she is known as Britain's Brightest Witch.
Many say that she is as talented as the original Morgan Le Fay, who is the rival to Merlin, who is known as the strongest human magician in history.
"Do you need us to prepare something special, my lord?"
I look at Martha and nod my head.
"Please prepare something extra for our guest. The Director of Golden Dawn will be the one coming here, and I don't want to make them uncomfortable or something."
"Should we let them use the empty building? The one intended to be the house for people who want to train under us."
Oh yeah. I ordered a four-story building that could fit twenty to thirty people inside not too long ago. I want that building to be the place where we can house the people who want to train here. Yasaka wants to do some kind of exchange program with her people and us, hence the project.
"It should be done by today or tomorrow, right?"
"Yes. We are lucky they are coming here in a week. We can furnish the building and add some runic arrays to expand the basement for the training room."
I nod and say.
"Tell the magicians we hire to make sure to do their best effort. I don't want something wrong with the array like the previous group of magicians."
A group of magicians offered me their service to expand the cellar's space for the wine, but they created very shoddy runic arrays even though they told me they were masters in runic arrays. The truth is that they are a bunch of magicians who get kicked out of their organization because of their laziness and egoistic behavior. The result was an explosion that hurt a few of my people. Let's just say that they are forbidden from visiting Vindice and will never work for any company under my name.
That means they cannot even work in my company on the mundane side of the world as well.
"Of course, my lord. You don't need to worry. They are a group of magicians from a trustworthy organization. They are called the Conclavele Ielelor. They are a rather old organization that is said to have been formed by a Fae Race who made a pact with humans. Sadly, the Fae Race disappears from Romania and into a pocket dimension when the vampire is born. Only the All-Father Odin knows the entrance to their world, but he is oath-bound not to tell anyone, even his family."
Right. So, just like the Elves and Dwarves, huh? They are the races that go to their pocket dimension for some reason.
"Very well. If they are doing a great job, offer them some gold bars for their work."
Gold is a great conductive metal for magic and the only reason why gold will never go down in price on this side of the world. People are happier when you pay them using gold, and they will never ask where you get that gold from, unlike the mundane side of the world.
"I will inform them."
After she leaves the office, I look at Felicia and say.
"Felicia, when will the church people arrive? It has been quiet sometimes."
"They should arrive in two days, my lord. They are delayed because they know the movement from the vampires, and they don't want to get involved with the Tepes Clan."
I nod and release a sigh. According to Felicia, the church wants Romania to have a church, the Holy Church (Church that knows the Moonlight World), built in Romania. However, in the past few centuries, no Holy Church has ever had a base in Romania.
The Tepes or Carmilla clans attack the church each time they want to start a base in Romania.
Felicia is among those people who are sent here to build a starting base, but sadly, she gets captured.
"Two days, huh? Do you get any news of the people they send?"
"I don't get any news about that, but one of our men in Ghimbav sees Vasco Strada and Dulio Gesualdo coming out of the airport and quickly go to the nearby church."
I look at her in shock and say.
"Are you telling me that Vasco Strada, the strongest human, and Dulio Gesualdo, the Strongest Exorcist, will come here?"
"It is still a chance, but the chance of them coming here is around ninety-nine percent."
"Right."
The church will come in two days, and the magicians will come in a week. Church and magicians are a combination that I know will result in disaster. The last time it happened, there were a lot of people that got burned at a stake.
There is also the problem of the Youkai in Vindice. The Church is rather famous for its xenophobic behavior. If the angels come here instead of the people from the church, I will be happy and not wary. The angels do not hate the other race enough to insult them when the angels meet the Youkai.
I look at Luca and say.
"Luca, can you increase the patrol around the area when they arrive? I don't want the church people to insult the youkai or, worse, attack Valerie and Gasper."
Valerie and Gasper are the cinnamon rolls of Vindice. They are sweet, hardworking, and kind kids. If someone decides to insult the two of them or worse, make them cry… There will be blood and a lot of it. The Youkai Grandmas already adopted the two of them as their grandchildren, and you don't mess with grandmas.
"Leave it to us, boss. We will make sure they don't mess with us."
"I don't think they will cause any problem, my lord. Vasco and Dulio are not like that."
"No. I trust them to behave, but do you believe the exorcists and priests they bring will behave the same as them?"
Felicia opens her mouth but quickly closes her mouth. She releases a sigh and says.
"No. They will not behave like the two of them."
"And that is why I'd rather have extra security to make sure they don't do anything stupid. They are our guests, and they should behave like guests."
Felicia nods her head and says.
"I understand, my lord."
"Good."
I stand up and say.
"Let's prepare for their arrival."
