Chapter 69 - Chapter 68: Plans in Motion!

*Next Day*

*Itan High School*

After dropping Hitomi off at her school, I ran into Komi-San on her way to school.

Tadano: "Oh... Komi-San? Good morning."

The girl jumped a bit upon hearing my voice but quickly turned around.

Komi: "G-Good morning, Tadano-kun..." she said softly.

I smiled to see her using her voice to greet me.

Tadano: "It's good to see you in the morning. Shall we go to school together?" I asked.

Komi quickly nodded, and we walked side by side while chatting a bit.

When we were near the school, we bumped into Yamai.

After exchanging greetings with Komi-San, Yamai pulled out a folder from her bag and handed it to me.

Tadano: "Is everything here?"

Yamai nodded.

Tadano: "Good... accompany me once classes end and bring Agari with you," I said casually.

Yamai nodded and after a quick farewell, she hurried off to school.

Komi-San was a bit surprised by the chain of events, and with a curious look in her purple eyes, she tugged at my clothes in search of an answer to satisfy her curiosity.

I smiled to see how curious she was.

As I ruffled her hair, I said,

Tadano: "Yamai will help me with some matters. When everything is settled, I'll invite you to join. I assure you it will surprise you," I said mysteriously.

With even more questions than answers, she spoke in a low tone.

Komi: "Is it something big? And why can't I know about it yet?"

Tadano: "Firstly, I want to have everything settled before inviting you, and secondly, you still have to get Netsuno-Senpai, right? That reminds me, once you're done with Netsuno, look for this girl. She's always accompanied by a couple of friends, so that would be killing three birds with one stone," I said as I handed her some papers with photos and details of three students.

Komi got very excited seeing the papers and immediately knew what they were.

Komi: "New friends!" she said, her eyes shining as bright as stars.

*Puff*

*A wild KomiCat has appeared!*

After taking a mental heap of photos of the adorable girl, I responded,

Tadano: "That's right. They'll be your next targets. Plus, I think they'll be easy for you to get. If you have trouble, you can always ask Najimi for more information or seek their help in the worst-case scenario."

Komi hugged me happily for the help and quickly ran off to school to find Najimi.

The papers the girl held highlighted three names.

Satou Amami.

Ushiroda Eiko.

Maeda Hoshio.

I knew these three would be good friends for Komi, although I'm jumping ahead a bit in the main plot, more friends are always better, right?

I wondered to myself as I happily whistled my way to school; today was a beautiful day.

*End of Classes*

After saying goodbye to Kaede and Nene at the school entrance, I got into a black car parked there, accompanied by Yamai and Agari.

Seated in the car, my expression was somber.

Yamai trembled instinctively.

Agari, on the other hand, shuddered and began rubbing her thighs.

This was because of the documents Yamai had obtained for me.

With her influence, she managed to get most of the papers and permissions, but we were still blank on the rest.

Funding was also a problem.

Tadano: "Perhaps I dreamed too high?"

Shinomiya: "To begin with, you asked too much of a spoiled girl. Although it pains me to admit that she managed to get this, it's already a great achievement."

Tadano: "I guess you're right. Then there's only one option left."

Shinomiya: "Oh! So you're finally going to look for it..."

Tadano: "Yes... if possible, I'd also like to find his future wife. Although it's most likely a student like me at the moment."

Shinomiya: "It's worth a try."

*Sigh*

Tadano: "Yamai, find me the person named Saitou Ichigo, get me all their information, and if possible, look for a woman named Miyako with the following characteristics..." I said as I began describing the basic appearance of Saitou Miyako; it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to find her without her original last name, which was never mentioned in the work.

Yamai nodded and quickly took out her phone to make some calls.

While waiting for her to finish, I pulled the uncomfortable Agari into my embrace.

She shuddered but didn't resist.

I had invited her simply to fulfill what I promised her as well as satisfy my baser desires.

While Yamai made her calls, I began kissing Agari, stealing glances at Yamai, who had a flushed face as she watched us. I could see envy in her eyes.

I couldn't help but smile with satisfaction when I saw it.

Shinomiya: "*Sigh* at this rate, we'll become scumbag in no time," he said with a helpless tone as he put out a cigarette he had in his mouth.

Nagisa: "I prefer Komi-San more..." she said softly as she covered her eyes in embarrassment.

Tomoya: "I have no comments. Everyone lives their life, I suppose..." he said as he pulled the girl and they went together to a corner of the room.

When Yamai finished, I let go of Agari, who was breathing heavily, her face as red as a tomato and her eyes like a pair of hearts.

With a smile on my face, I said,

Tadano: "So?"

Yamai: "I'll have all the information you need by tomorrow afternoon, although it might be difficult to find that woman named Miyako."

Tadano: "Alright... set course for the Gongon Editorial; it's time to solve our funding problem," I said as I took a package with the initials "SNK" from my spatial ring.

Yamai was surprised by the destination and somewhat fearful but also very curious.

Yamai: "Isn't that a Manga Editorial? What are we going to do there?" she asked nervously.

Shinomiya: "Don't ask stupid questions and do as I say..." I said as I pulled her toward me.

Soon after, the car started overflowing with a sweet pink full of spring.

*Gongon Editorial*

The Editorial was in chaos.

Its Editor-in-chief sat in her chair with a sad expression on her once expressionless face.

Matome Minano was depressed.

Her Editorial was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Without any successful manga or even good reception in the last couple of years, her Editorial had suffered great losses. If they didn't find a successful manga as soon as possible, it's possible their Editorial would have to close by the end of the year.

Minano felt like crying. The writer she had trusted so much had suffered an unexpected accident and couldn't draw again.

The Editorial hadn't had any good income lately and was barely staying afloat.

Many young talents didn't dare to submit their works to her Editorial; instead, they chose their rival, "Shonen Jump."

Her stress was such that she had started smoking to relieve it.

As she contemplated future action plans, her door was opened by a small blonde in a business suit.

With an excited face, she exclaimed,

Mihari: "Boss! It's a miracle! A miracle has happened! Look! Look!" she said as she placed an envelope full of papers on her desk.

Minano quickly recognized it as a manga manuscript, and with a small hope blossoming in her heart, she read it carefully.

A few minutes later, she was completely absorbed in the story, and it wasn't until the blonde shouted at her that she snapped out of her trance.

Minano's eyes sparkled like stars in the sky, and she said,

Minano: "Bring me the Sensei who wrote this masterpiece; I don't care what his conditions are, he has to publish this manga in our Editorial, no matter what!" she exclaimed.

Mihari: "Yes, boss!" said the blonde, completely excited as she left the room.

*Minutes Later*

A handsome young man accompanied by two young women entered the office.

Minano got up from her seat and quickly introduced herself.

Minano: "Good afternoon... I would like to welcome you to Gongon Editorial. My name is Matome Minano, and I am the Editor-in-chief," Minano introduced herself respectfully.

Tadano: "The pleasure is mine... my name is Tadano Hitohito. I would like to do business with your Editorial... if my manga meets your approval," the young man said politely.

Minano: "Of course... Tadano-sensei, it would be an honor for us if you allowed us to publish your manga," Minano said excitedly.

Tadano nodded.

Tadano: "Well then, let's talk business..." the young man said with a friendly smile on his face.

Minano couldn't help but blush a bit at his lovely smile.

*Some Time Later*

*Outside Gongon Editorial*

*POV Tadano*

Yamai: "I didn't know you were a mangaka; that's really surprising," said the girl, with complicated feelings swirling in her eyes.

Agari: "You're truly amazing, Master..." said the green-haired girl with shining eyes.

Yamai: "Great, now I have a dog as a partner..." she said in a disdainful tone as she looked at Agari.

The green-haired girl trembled for a moment, but after remembering something, she stood firm and, after adjusting her glasses, looked at Yamai with a playful expression and said,

Agari: "Maybe I'm a dog, but who was the one clinging so tightly to my master while shouting his name?" said the girl with a mocking expression.

Yamai quickly turned red and looked angrily at Agari.

Yamai: "At least I'm not fat! You, on the other hand, are a damn cow!" she snapped sharply.

Agari seemed to be hit by a critical blow and became depressed; after all, she was never good at interacting with others besides her family, Komi-San, and Tadano.

Yamai: "Cat got your tongue? I..."

Tadano: "Silence!" I said with an icy tone that made the duo tremble.

Tadano: "Yamai, stop intimidating Agari; from now on, she'll work with you to manage the affairs of our new company. She has talent for administration and gathering information. Treat her well! Now let's go... it's been a tough day, and I want to relieve some stress..." I said as I gave them both a meaningful smile.

The girls seemed to instinctively understand my smile and blushed furiously, but they obediently followed me to the car.

The driver opened the door for us, and after chatting with Yamai for a bit, he went with a pale expression to the driver's seat.

Author's note: "Here is the chapter. The next chapter you can skip. It is an R18 chapter, if you don't like it skip it since it doesn't affect the story much. Leaving you warned not to cry in the comments, leaving that aside remember drink a lot of water and I love you very much, sincerely your favorite depressive author.
