Life... what is life?.. There's a lot of opinions about life..The Existence of an individual Human being or animal is life.life is a concept of biology. Again, life is a concept of philosophy ....Then again..Life is a matter of Religion Too...!!.. In Biology,life is defined as any system capable of performing functions such as eating, breathing, moving, metabolizing, growing, reproducing & responding to external stimuli. And...In Philosophy,life is the aspect of existence that processes acts,reacts, evaluates & Evolves through growth.. Philosophies father Socrates believed that,the ultimate goal of human existence is not just to live but to live a good.. meaningful and virtuous life with which philosopher Plato agreed too..... but... to live a good life ..a meaningful one...is it really that only? what is a virtuous life?what is the purpose of our life? how were we created? Being kind.. being yourself.. being honest, learning, teaching, marrying... then suddenly one day you die... is it really meaningful? virtuous ? Is that life?aha... I don't know....According to bible, all life comes from God,both physical and spiritual.. well... it's understandable.. just like how human makes doll by giving them shapes and batteries or strings to move (nowadays,we do have robots,AI too that humans created..) .. it's understandable that god created us physically and gave us spirit... but some parts of bible..i do not understand.. like.. the matter of God, Jesus & holy spirit.. it's kind of perplexing...i don't really understand it..if jesus were to be god's son... then how come god is the one to create us? Jesus has to be a human like us right... then it's possible that god has created jesus like other creations of god ...Then again..In old testament,it meant the life in the body,the existence and activity of the man in all his parts and energies...i feel like it's uh... kinda similar with Socrates's statement about life... so..it looks very natural..yet...kind of perplexing... indeed..
Life is truly...A Trivial Matter...
Now Now...Come to Buddhism... Buddhist believe that human life is a cycle of suffering and rebirth... Eh...is it really life...?.. isn't it kinda um....harsh..?!.. I feel like.. it's easy yet kind of cruel...i mean...'suffering and rebirthing'... isn't it ...kinda cruel?.. well..i don't really understand how it works.. nor i do believe in it..(i don't believe in rebirth...).. Well then...let us move onto Hinduism..!.. In Hinduism,there are four aims of life...(Dharma,arth,kama,moksha.) they're meant 'object of human truth'.well.... learning about Hinduism made me realise that.. others were a little bit easier than this...hehee.. their statements about life,gods, purposes...i just..umm.. don't really understand them... they are really complicated..(if you do understand.. then do tell me..!).. Now lastly..let us discuss about what does Islam says about life... Islam says, life is sacred and one of the greatest gifts and blessing of god.. Honestly..i find it more acceptable..
Life Came From Water..
The Qur'an describes that God "made from water every living thing" (21:30). Another verse describes how "God (Allah) has created every animal from water. Of them are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four. God creates what He wills, for truly God has power over all things" (24:45). These verses support the scientific theory that life began in the Earth's oceans...In Muslims holy book Quran... there's a lot of verses about life.. truthfully.. I do find Islam's statements more realistic, logical and easy than anything.... there's a lot of statements about life, lifestyles, life purposes and so on...i find them logical...In islamic philosophy...life is called the 'quest for eternity'... overcoming hardship, restraints, brief pleasures everything.. For Eternal Happiness.. Overcome the hurdles and have peace... isn't it fun?.. meritable? meaningful? Islam define life as serving god's purpose and living a life that linked to an eternal life on one hand, and attaining, existential meaning from worldly goals and moral virtues on the other hand. Truly... understandable.. what are the purpose of life in islam.. you ask?well ..the purpose of creation for all men and women for all times has been one...that is to worship God. It's understandable... I'll Honestly say...The more I read the Quran...The more I get astonished.. because..all the questions i had related to life & death.. living purposes.. lifestyle.. everything was written there ..also the birth of Jesus, story of Adam & Eve,moses, Abraham, Joseph,David, Solomon, lot,Noah...Etc...Everything..Every events was written..as lesson.. Whenever reading quran...it feels like that... it's talking to me.. written for me ..Quran made me realise the value of myself..my life..it has a whole lifestyle..how to lead a life... It's Truly... Mesmerising...
