Ling Hua held the bookmark, lost in thought. She recalled that Shushu always kept it tucked in a book by her bed. She seemed to have seen that book as well. The book was called "Zhaohua Collection," a collection of romantic poetry, and it was published over a decade ago by her grandfather's estate, Sihai Bookstore.
Three years ago, when she came to Caojun, she visited the Rouge Building and saw the "Zhaohua Collection" by Shushu's pillow at her dwelling. Even though she didn't often go to the Rouge Building to listen to Shushu sing afterward, the few times a year she did visit, the "Zhaohua Collection" was always there by her pillow.
She remembered asking Shushu last year with a smile, "Do you really like the 'Zhaohua Collection' that much?"
Shushu nodded with a smile and said, "The poems in the 'Zhaohua Collection' are all from famous poets of our time. Every time I read them, I feel deeply moved."
