Even the most comfortable chaise longue is not a bed, and when Ling Hua lay asleep on the chaise longue, to Yan Qing, her posture seemed uncomfortable no matter how he looked at it.
He endured it for a while but couldn't stand it any longer. Getting off the bed, he lifted Ling Hua from the chaise longue, turned to walk toward the bed, then suddenly remembered something, turned around, and walked towards the door.
Ling Hua opened her eyes a sliver, heavy with sleepiness, "Brother?"
Yan Qing replied irritably, "Go back to your room and sleep."
Ling Hua uttered an "oh" and closed her eyes.
Yan Qing, carrying Ling Hua, left his own room, took a few steps, skirted around the drawing hall, reached her room door, kicked it open, walked in, and placed her on the bed.
Ling Hua obediently lay on the bed, keeping whatever position he placed her in, not moving an inch. She seemed to fall asleep contentedly and without a care in the world.
