The vegetarian meal at Qingyin Temple clearly agreed with Yan Qing's palate; he ate plenty. As for the only wine on the table, he tasted it and clearly had no interest in drinking more, not taking a second sip.
However, Ling Hua seemed to really enjoy the taste of the Plum Blossom Brew, with its light scent of plum blossoms, and drank an entire pot. In the end, she even took the cup of wine from Yan Qing, which he'd only sipped once, and drank it as well.
Yan Qing caught sight of this and initially didn't make anything of it; thinking if she liked it, she might as well drink it. But shortly after, he seemed to realize something, widened his eyes, and exclaimed, "I drank from that."
Ling Hua pretended not to understand, looking at him innocently with crystal-clear eyes, "I drank it because you didn't like it, brother. Am I not allowed to?"
She emphatically stated, "It's not good to waste."
Yan Qing glared at her, "Is this about whether I like it or not or about wasting? "
