Eunuch Zhao had visited the Second Prince's estate several times, and although he came to visit Xiao Zhen and bring gifts, he did not receive much of a warm welcome from Xiao Zhen.

Even Xiao Ze, the Crown Prince, always gave due respect to Eunuch Zhao and occasionally indicated to his attendants to give gifts to Eunuch Zhao.
Being able to hold the position as the Emperor's top eunuch meant that Eunuch Zhao was no ordinary person. He had never been haughty, nor did he arbitrarily look down upon or step on anyone.
