Yan Qing left the back courtyard and, sure enough, didn't go elsewhere, returning to the front courtyard to start his afternoon nap.
Ling Hua also went back to her room for an afternoon nap.
An hour later, Yun Luo, Liuli, Duanyang, and others arrived at Qiyun Mountain, by which time both had already finished lunch and were sound asleep.
Leaning beneath Yan Qing's window, Duanyang felt nostalgic as he spoke to Yun Luo, "When has the Marquis ever ridden with a lady? He made an exception for Miss Ling."
Yun Luo thought how the Marquis had made plenty of exceptions for his master. He reflected solemnly, "My master has delicate skin and isn't used to riding fast horses. Travelling all the way to Qiyun Mountain on horseback, her body must've been overwhelmed; I fear she might be injured."
Duanyang let out an "Ah?" in surprise. "It's such a short journey, could it really be that bad?"
"It's that serious," Yun Luo affirmed.
