"Mu Nan, you finally made it!" Su Tian said, laughing as he patted his beer belly and shook hands with Ruan Munan.
Then, he turned his gaze to Ruan Qi.
"Mu Nan, this must be your sister, right?"
"Yes," Ruan Munan said as he placed a hand on the young girl's shoulder. "My sister, Ruan Qi."
"Ruan Qi? What a nice name," Su Tian said cheerfully, pointing to a young man behind him. "Mu Nan, this is a child from a friend's family, named Gu Yi. Just graduated from college, looking to get a taste of the world."
Ruan Munan gave Gu Yi a cursory glance, while Gu Yi's gaze was fixed intently on Ruan Qi's face.
A slight frown formed on Ruan Munan's brow.
Noticing his reaction, Su Tian's eyes flickered, and he said with a smile, "Let's not talk at the door, come inside and sit down."
Having said that, he tugged Gu Yi along. "What are you dawdling for, Yi? Go pull up a chair for Miss Ruan!"
