The girl lifted the flowers to her nose and took a sniff. "It would be such a pity to throw such beautiful flowers directly into the trash can."
An Ning smiled and waved the girl off. "I have something else to do, goodbye."
The girl pressed on. "Miss, that handsome guy truly seemed to love you, don't you think you'll ever change your mind?"
"I'm already married," An Ning said.
"Ah? You're married so young?" The girl was deeply surprised.
An Ning nodded.
"Well, I wish you happiness," the girl said.
"I wish you happiness, too."
An Ning continued to walk aimlessly forward and soon passed by a cake shop.
Looking at the beautiful cakes displayed in the window, An Ning was drooling.
She had been living frugally for years and hadn't bought a birthday cake for five years.
Now seeing these, she really wanted to eat.
"Which one do you like? I'll get it for you," a voice rose again by An Ning's ear.
An Ning looked up and saw Zhou Chen. "Hi, what a coincidence."
