"Let me go," An Ning yelled again.
The kidnapper gratefully released her. "Thank you for what you did back then."
An Ning picked up the knife the kidnapper had dropped and swung it towards his neck, pressing it against his throat. "You don't need to thank me. I'm here to take your life now."
The kidnapper looked at the gleaming silver blade under his eyes with a trembling heart. "No... you wouldn't really kill me, would you?"
An Ning looked at him with extreme disappointment and hatred. "Why not? If I had known you were scum of society, a rogue and a lowlife, I never would have saved you in the first place."
"I'm sorry, so sorry. I can't believe I kidnapped my own savior. I truly deserve to die." The kidnapper took off his hood and slapped himself hard across the face several times.
An Ning's knife didn't stray from the kidnapper's neck, because she still couldn't be certain that he would really let her go. "Drive, I want to get back to the city."
"Yes, right away!"
