The Emperor Seal, to the naked eye, was merely an ordinary Dark Seal.
After Carson Flores obtained the Emperor Seal, he played with it numerous times, but the Seal showed no reaction. He even once tried to cut it with his Flying Sword to test its material and ended up hurt by its murderous aura, nearly dying on the spot. Later, during the Defense of White Wave City, it was with the Seal that Carson managed a miraculous counterkill and narrowly escaped death.
Because of its terrifying backlash, Carson dared not test it vigorously, fearing that a slight mishap might end up costing him his life.
Carson sat quietly, cross-legged, the words of the Emperor's Sutra Human Scroll echoing in his mind, sounding grand and resonant, reverberating through heaven and earth. At the same time, a majestic and inviolable aura gradually enveloped him, as if bearing divine authority.
