All eyes simultaneously focused on Katherine Reid's face, each with a different look.
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Katherine Reid felt as if she was being publicly executed once again, her face instantly burning hot, as if she had just been slapped twice more.
Angry as she was, Katherine Reid dared not speak nonsense. Firstly, there had been many onlookers that day, and many people knew about the incident; secondly, Delaney Hunter, that mad woman, was absolutely not someone to be trifled with. If Katherine spoke ill today and something happened in the future, she would not be able to bear it.
