Carson Flores stopped in the mountain pass, watching Isabella Roth float away like an immortal, vanishing at the end of the stone path.

Only when the two were completely away did Leah Frost stop, looking back at the four-sided courtyard in the distance woods, and murmured, "It's as if it was all a dream. That Miss Roth and the elder, they must be Immortals, right?"
