Edgar Harrison looked up at Carson Flores, who towered over him with a condescending gaze, feeling a chill in his heart.
It's over.
As a Grandmaster and with the backing of the Harrison Family, he had always thrown his weight around Seashore. Now, he had finally kicked an iron plate that was too hot to handle.
He had hoped that by revealing the identity of his employer quickly, the other party would let him off the hook. However, that hope had obviously failed.
Carson Flores was clearly not a magnanimous person, nor would he let the matter go just because Edgar said a few soft words.
"I'm inferior in skill, I admit defeat. Whether you want to kill or slash me, you decide," Edgar said, his tone slightly weaker yet still not completely submissive, as the Harrison Family had a certain level of confidence from their long establishment in Seashore.
Carson Flores sneered, "Decide? What's there to decide? If I kill you, then this matter will be settled!"
