Countless blood spots clung to the barrier, like leeches sucking blood.
Carson Flores wasn't sure if this would have any effect.
He stayed nearby, pretending to observe the hand, but in reality, he was carefully watching those blood spots.
Initially, when the blood spots landed on the barrier, they were extremely quiet, like droplets on a thin film, unrelated to each other. But soon, the blood spots seemed to soak into the barrier. Around each blood spot, a spreading halo of blood began to form. Not only that, but the color around each blood spot on the barrier seemed to be rapidly changing.
It was working!
Carson Flores didn't know what would ultimately happen with these blood spots. He held the Water-Fire Mirror, added another fire, added a batch of Blood Mist to the barrier, and then walked away as if there was nothing he could do.
The cave was dimly lit, and the Blood Mist clinging to the barrier was hardly noticeable and not seen by anyone.
