Chapter 155 - Chapter 54: New Leads

Mobius summoned a young boy who appeared somewhat indifferent. Not far behind Kosma, a girl with blue hair watched the scene with curiosity, especially the younger Sirin next to her.

The purple-haired girl reciprocated the curious gaze, and the two children locked eyes.

Mobius introduced them, saying, "This is Kosma, and over there is his sister, Griseo. Kosma is adept at looking after children, and Griseo is quite lively. Your daughter should enjoy playing with them."

"Thank you for thinking of that, Dr. Mobius."

Luo Lin breathed a sigh of relief. She had just been pondering how to handle Sirin when Mobius offered a solution.

The girl crouched down, aligning her eyes with Sirin's, and whispered softly, "Mom, Dad, and your sister are going out to attend to some matters. You can play with Griseo and Kosma for now. We'll return as soon as possible, okay?"

"Okay, Sirin is very well-behaved."

Sirin nodded and approached Griseo. "Hello? My name is Sirin..."

Griseo greeted Sirin back, "Hello, I'm Griseo... Do you enjoy drawing?"

"Drawing?" Sirin became interested.

The girl with blue hair nodded earnestly. "You have very unique colors... Sirin, could you draw something for me? I'd like to see."

Sirin was a bit confused by Griseo's random words, but she seemed to understand that Griseo was asking her to draw. So the purple-haired girl set her condition: "Drawing is fine, but you have to call me sister!"

Without hesitation, Griseo exclaimed, "Sister Sirin!"

Sirin could tell from Griseo's tone that there was no hint of insincerity or pretense, so she readily accepted her position as sister, much better than the perfunctory "sister" from the white-haired bundle of fluff, Kiana.

Feeling delighted, Sirin involuntarily straightened her chest and lifted her nose. "Humph, then let me show off my skills to you! Bring me a pen!"

Hearing this, Griseo first took out a brush from her pocket, then pulled out several tubes of paint. She grabbed Sirin's hand and stood her against the corridor wall. The girl patted the wall and made a couple of strokes with the brush, nodding in satisfaction.

"Right here! Sister Sirin!"

Watching Griseo's skilled and commanding actions, Sirin was amazed.

"Griseo, you can't draw here—let's go to the room where you usually draw, okay?"

Kosma had to intervene to stop Griseo's behavior. But he could tell that Griseo was very eager to see Sirin's artwork, almost urgent. She wished she could find a place to draw right away.

"Um... but..." Griseo hesitated, "I really want to see Sister Sirin draw..."

Sirin wiped the sweat from her forehead and suggested, "Griseo, let's go to the room specifically for drawing..."

The purple-haired girl actually had some self-awareness. Usually, she did some slightly unconventional things because of her young age, but she didn't expect Griseo to be even more impulsive. She realized that whatever Griseo thought of, she did immediately...

"Okay."

Lowering her head, Griseo followed Kosma and walked away with Sirin.

Seeing the "ignorant and innocent" children leave, the atmosphere here suddenly became tense.

Mobius distributed communicators to Luo Lin, Kiana, and Siegfried, and also provided some equipment, ammunition, and supplies on the table for everyone to use.

Kiana excitedly rummaged through them, replenishing some bullets from inside. She also called her parents over to see if they needed anything.

"Kiana, you should find something to bring yourself. Your dad and I don't need these," Luo Lin said. With the Key of Revelation and the system's warehouse, she didn't have to worry about supplies.

Siegfried's Judgement of Shamash didn't require physical ammunition either. As long as his stamina and the Honkai energy were sufficient, this divine key could display powerful lethality.

As for "Fu Hua," she didn't need these fancy things either because her body was the most powerful weapon—always ready, she would crush the threat of Honkai!

Just as the Herrscher was gearing up for action, Siegfried suddenly approached. "Fu Hua, do you remember me?"

"Of course, what's up, Siegfried?" 'Fu Hua' was a bit surprised but quickly realized what was going on. She patiently explained, "Do you find the current situation strange? Did you think I used Fenghuang Down to trap you in an illusion?"

"... Yes." The white-haired man nodded with a complex expression.

'Fu Hua' gave a subtle smile. "Siegfried, think again. If I wanted to use Fenghuang Down, do you think I would let you discover the anomaly so easily? I would definitely erase your previous memories completely and let you wander around the city like a fool."

Siegfried had to admit that 'Fu Hua' made a lot of sense. He would do the same.

Actually, he had been a bit suspicious that all of this was the handiwork of the consciousness of the Herrscher hidden in Kiana's body. But the Herrscher didn't have the authority to create illusions.

But Siegfried had no other ideas now...

"Fu Hua, I remember you're a master of consciousness. Can you use Fenghuang Down to see what's going on here?"

"Uh... to be honest, it's a bit difficult now." 'Fu Hua' spread out her hands, showing Siegfried the Fenghuang Down corroded by quantum forces.

"You see, Fenghuang Down looks like this now. How could I be the instigator?"

Siegfried was shocked. "How did this happen?"

"I'm not sure, but it's probably related to quantum forces."

The white-haired man poked the feathers with his fingers, feeling a power completely different from Honkai attached to the Divine Key.

"Is there a way to deal with it?"

"There is. Your 'Cecilia' is solving this problem..."

Siegfried glanced at Cecilia, who was chatting not far away with Kiana, and hesitantly asked, "Is she also one of Otto's people?"

"Yes."

"Then... is she like Kiana... a clone of 'Cecilia'?"

Fu Hua's smile was very subtle. "No, she's not such a simple existence..."

"... Can you tell me her real name?"

"Why don't you go ask her yourself, Siegfried?"

The constant questioning made 'Fu Hua' somewhat annoyed. "Be bolder, I don't remember you being so indecisive?"

"Sigh, you're right, I'm just a bit..."

Siegfried chuckled and thanked "Fu Hua," saying, "Thank you... I won't be troubled because I know I'm gradually uncovering the truth."

As the white-haired man uttered these words, 'Fu Hua' felt an anomaly in the Fenghuang Down, and one of the remaining five quantum forces gradually weakening, reducing the pressure on the Divine Key once again.

Observing Siegfried's smiling and composed demeanor, 'Fu Hua' pondered silently.
