Kim immediately stood.
"Not at all, Saber. Please, join us." He pulled out another chair, gesturing for her to sit.
As Saber took her seat, Rose couldn't help but notice the way Kim's hand lingered on the back of Saber's chair for just a moment longer than necessary.
The three of them fell into easy conversation, discussing their plans for the day and reminiscing about past missions.
"Remember that time in Busan?" Rose laughed, reaching for a strawberry. "When Rio accidentally activated that ancient artifact?".
Saber's lips quirked in a rare smile. "How could I forget? We spent three days chasing those spectral butterflies all over the city."
Kim shook his head, amusement dancing in his eyes. "I've never seen a man look so terrified of butterflies before."
As they continued to chat and enjoy their breakfast, the sun climbed higher in the sky, bathing them in warm light.
