Training Ground in Konoha Village.
"Kakashi-sensei." Sakura entered from outside the training area.
"Sakura, you're here," Kakashi said, pointing to the ground. "Help heal this kid."
"Sakura..." Naruto, bruised and battered, greeted her faintly from the ground.
"Don't talk!"
Sakura glared at him before kneeling down and extending her hands to begin performing a medical jutsu.
As the green healing chakra illuminated Naruto's swollen face, Sakura asked, "Kakashi-sensei, are you training taijutsu?"
"No," Kakashi replied. "I'm helping him develop sealing techniques."
"Sealing techniques?" Sakura asked skeptically. "Shouldn't you just learn sealing techniques by reading books?"
Kakashi sighed. "Ah, do you really think Naruto can learn sealing techniques by reading books?"
"Absolutely not!" Sakura responded firmly.
"Mmph... mmph..." Naruto protested with his mouth closed, making noises to express his dissatisfaction.
"Stop making trouble!" Sakura glared at him again. "I'm not wrong; you've never passed a written exam!"
"But, Kakashi-sensei, aren't you being too unrealistic?" she continued. "Teaching Naruto to use sealing techniques? You'd be better off teaching him ninjutsu or taijutsu."
"Mmph, mmph..." Naruto looked at Sakura gratefully.
'Thank you, Sakura. I feel the same way.'
"Alright, the healing's done." Sakura withdrew her hands.
"Sakura, you're absolutely right!" Naruto quickly got up and pointed at Kakashi. "Please help me convince Kakashi-sensei."
"Hmm? What's going on?" Sakura asked.
"Kakashi-sensei has been beating me up and not even letting me fight back!" Naruto started to complain. "He keeps talking about using some kind of power inside me to restrain him!"
He grabbed his hair with both hands and shouted, "I don't get it at all!"
Sakura looked at Kakashi with suspicion. "Can you really learn sealing techniques like this?"
Kakashi raised a notebook.
"Well, I'm following the notes left by Minato-sensei to train Naruto."
"Oh, it's a method developed by Lord Fourth?" Sakura's expression changed immediately, and she smiled. "Then there should be no problem at all!"
She turned angrily to Naruto and said, "Naruto! Start training right away! You must listen to Lord Fourth! Stop thinking about slacking off!"
"Even Sakura's saying that!" Naruto complained, annoyed. "Too many people idolize my dad!"
He then shouted, "When I become Hokage, I'll definitely be more popular than my dad!"
"That's impossible, Naruto," Sakura said with pity in her eyes.
"Why? I will become Hokage!" Naruto argued.
"That's not the point, Naruto." Sakura waved her hand dismissively. "It's about your face and your demeanor."
"Come on!" Naruto looked at Sakura with disdain. "Do you want to become my stepmom too?"
"Idiot!!!" Sakura's forehead bulged with anger, and she punched Naruto square in the face.
"Aaaah... I'm sorry..." Naruto cried as he was sent flying.
"God..," Kakashi muttered, covering his face. "Go heal Naruto again, Sakura."
"Got it!" Sakura stormed off towards the bushes where Naruto had landed.
"Hahaha..."
Minato's awkward laugh echoed as he suddenly appeared beside Kakashi, looking towards Sakura as she walked away.
"So, this is the girl Naruto likes?"
'She seems even more violent than Kushina.'
"That's what Naruto claims," Kakashi said. "But unfortunately, Sakura likes Sasuke."
"Sasuke? The Uchiha boy," Minato mused. "The dynamics between these three are quite similar to what you all had back then."
Kakashi looked down at the notebook, saying nothing.
"How's the training going?" Minato changed the topic.
Kakashi shook his head.
"The traditional method of the Uzumaki clan is to gradually unlock the Adamantine Sealing Chains by deeply studying sealing techniques. Unfortunately, this path doesn't suit Naruto."
He continued, "For now, I can only emphasize repeatedly that he possesses this ability, hoping he'll unlock the power from his bloodline during battle."
"The current issue is..." He closed the notebook and looked at Minato. "Naruto himself doesn't seem to believe he has this ability."
"Belief, huh?" Minato pondered before nodding in approval at Kakashi. "You're right, Kakashi. To unlock this power, Naruto must believe in it first."
"I'll have a good talk with him," Minato said as he looked at Naruto running towards them.
"Lord Fourth." Sakura, who had also approached, greeted him politely.
'When did Lord Fourth get here?'
'Did he see me punch Naruto?'
Sakura's thoughts raced in her mind.
'I wanted to make a good impression on Lord Fourth!'
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Naruto shouted. "Dad, I don't want to learn any sealing techniques. Teach me some other jutsu instead!"
"Let's go home and eat first," Minato said with a smile. "Kakashi, Sakura, you both should come too."
"Yes," Kakashi replied, putting away the notebook.
"Huh? I can come too?" Sakura asked, feeling a bit shy.
"Don't be shy," Minato said warmly. "Thank you for helping Naruto."
"No need to thank me, Lord Fourth," Sakura replied happily. "Naruto and I are comrades, so it's what I should do."
...
Sakura sat at the dining table, watching Minato bring food from the kitchen.
'Amazing!'
'Lord Minato can even cook!'
'I wonder... will Sasuke-kun ever cook for me one day?'
She covered her blushing face, lost in her girlish fantasies.
...
After lunch, Kakashi and Sakura bid farewell to Minato and Naruto.
Minato and Naruto sat on the sofa, beginning their conversation.
"Naruto, are you confused about the current training?" Minato asked.
"I don't get it at all!" Naruto replied with frustration. "What's the point of training where I just get beaten up?"
"Dad!" He waved his fists excitedly. "I want to learn ninjutsu! And that thing where you disappear in a flash!"
"Sorry, Naruto," Minato said apologetically. "The Flying Thunder God technique requires a strong sense of spatial awareness and complex calculations. It's not suited for you."
He patted Naruto's shoulder and continued, "The current training is to help you inherit Kushina's abilities."
"Mom's?" Naruto asked curiously. "What ability?"
"You know that Kushina was also a Jinchuriki for the Nine-Tails," Minato explained.
Naruto nodded.
"That's a unique ability of the Uzumaki clan," Minato continued. "Chakra chains that come from within the body, imbued with sealing power. Kushina once used them to control the Nine-Tails after its seal was broken."
He looked into Naruto's eyes with trust.
"As Kushina's child, I believe you have this ability too."
