Uchiha Fugaku was the last to leave.

Kaito glanced at him but didn't say much.

"I'll leave it to you, Kaito."

Fugaku said solemnly.

Kaito nodded, and only then did Fugaku detach from the paper man he was possessing.

All the souls returned to the Pure Land, and Kaito closed the passage to the Pure Land.

A crow flew over from afar and landed on Izuna's hand.

"Caw, they've all gone, they've all gone!"

Izuna stroked the crow's feathers and said to Kaito, "Those ninja villages keep provoking us. You don't have to spare them."

Kaito, now relieved of Ryūmyaku power, fanned himself leisurely and said, "No need to be angry, Izuna-san. No matter how much they jump around, they can't harm me."

He smiled at the scowling Izuna and continued, "Besides, in my grand finale of Kaguya's fall, they are indispensable actors and audience."

Closing his fan and putting his hands behind his back, Kaito turned to face the endless sea, his voice filled with proud determination.

"When the curtain falls, no force on this planet will surpass the Uchiha clan."

"I will always support you, Kaito." Chiri looked lovingly at Kaito's back.

Izuna saw her expression, turned away in discomfort, and muttered, "Now that you are the head of the Uchiha clan, everything is up to you."

"You pushed me to the position of clan leader. Madara should have no objections, right?" Kaito looked back with a smile at Izuna.

"Brother wouldn't mind!" Izuna said irritably, "Brother never cared about being the clan leader. He took on the responsibility for the survival of the clan."

"Indeed," Kaito sighed, "Someone like Madara values power more than authority."

Izuna nodded, "If it were to achieve his ideals, Brother would seek power. Now that his dreams are shattered, he no longer cares about such things."

"Then I will enhance his power as much as possible," Kaito said, "For combat, Madara is certainly more adept than I am."

"Hmph, without long-term combat training, that's the result," Izuna looked at him disdainfully, "You now rely on various means to win repeatedly. With equal strength, even I can easily defeat you."

Kaito didn't mind and said, "Can't be helped, an Onmyoji doesn't need to fight personally."

"Kaito only needs to command shikigami in battle." Chiri said, "But the strength of the summoned clan members varies. Should Kaito be more selective in future summons?"

"In large-scale situations, summoning is random," Kaito said, "To specify a summon, more research is needed."

He smiled at Izuna, "This time, I didn't summon Senior Izuna's father."

Izuna shook his head, "My father's behavior kept both Brother and me distant from him. You wouldn't get along with him either."

"The harsh environment of the Warring States period was all about survival..."

Kaito suddenly looked up at the sky.

"They're finally here."

A strange laugh echoed through the sky as a large gray figure swooped down from the clouds.

"Ahhhhh..."

A series of screams ensued.

Kaito focused his gaze and saw the furry Tanuki Azumi being firmly grasped by the gray creature's huge claws. Its short limbs flailed desperately, and tears streamed down its face.

Accompanied by a gust of wind, the gray creature landed gently, placing Azumi on a reef.

Kaito looked at the trembling tanuki and said speechlessly, "Gurē, what are you doing?"

The gray figure rapidly shrank, transforming into human form.

He put his hands on his hips and said boldly, "Couldn't be helped, Azumi is too timid. He was too scared to sit on my back, fearing he'd be blown away by the wind!"

"Poor thing." Chiri laughed, picking up the tanuki and gently stroking its fur, while Azumi continued to tremble with his head down.

Kaito nodded, "This little guy indeed needs more training."

"Hehe," Gurē laughed, "Under my guidance, he has basically learned to deal with humans. That's progress, right?"

"Thanks for your hard work," Kaito praised, "If you're not tired, let's head back to Ōeyama."

"Back to Ōeyama!"

Gurē excitedly raised his hands and transformed again.

---

A secluded training ground in Konoha Village.

Minato and Naruto stood facing each other.

"Naruto, imagine using the hidden power within your body to trap me." Minato said kindly, "Feel your body carefully. You must have the same power as your mother."

"Emmmm..."

Naruto obediently closed his eyes and tried his hardest.

"Pfft."

Minato covered his mouth.

"Sensei."

Kakashi walked into the training ground from outside.

He glanced at Naruto, lowering his eyes to hide his emotions.

Is this what developing bloodline power looks like?

Is Sensei Minato really this naive?

Geniuses think everything is easy for everyone, believing even fools can do it.

Although Kakashi himself was a genius, he knew the vast chasm between the minds of geniuses and fools.

"Kakashi, you're here."

Minato was somewhat disappointed.

He had Jiraiya-sensei's teaching manual, so why wasn't it working?

"Sensei, you're too gentle with Naruto." Kakashi said bluntly.

Minato scratched his head and smiled awkwardly, "It's my duty."

Black lines appeared on Kakashi's forehead, and he said again, "I wasn't complimenting you!"

"Really? Hahaha..." Minato laughed awkwardly.

"This kind of light training won't help Naruto." Kakashi glanced at Naruto, still straining, "You need to be tougher on him, Sensei."

"I understand," Minato sighed, "But when I see Naruto, I can't help but want to be kind to him."

"Strict training is also for his good." Kakashi insisted sternly, "If you can't do it, leave it to me."

"Really? Can you?" Minato quickly pulled out a notebook and handed it to Kakashi, "Then I'll leave it to you, Kakashi. This is my teaching plan, and I'll go prepare lunch."

With a swish, Minato was gone.

Kakashi stood there, stunned with the notebook in hand.

Was I just tricked?

When did my pure-hearted Sensei become so cunning!

He looked at Naruto with a complex expression.

'Naruto, you better shape up. Look what you've done to your dad.'

"Huh? Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto looked at him in confusion, "Why are you here? Where's Dad?"
