The supposed doctor sighed as she watched the servants clean up the mess, Rio glanced at a pale-looking woman, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call her a heaven-defying beauty, she had long gloss black hair, a high nose bridge with a small face and a v-line jaw, however, Rio couldn't see her eyes.
However due to where she was and all the blood between her legs, he could tell she was his mum. 'It seems childbirth really took a toll on her' Rio thought, the maidservants started moving as she entered a massive bedroom.
This room alone would've been like Rio's whole house in his previous life but no need to start thinking negatively.
As the maidservants put me down on the bed, the grey-haired man, which Rio guessed was his father, walked into the room and started speaking in a weird language, and walked off, without even laying even a look at him.
'Sigh, I guess in my both lifetimes I'm destined to not have parental love' unfazed Rio looked back at the woman who then picked him up again and exited the room. She walked for about a minute before entering a room. 'Wow this place is massive, it would take a step for me to reach my kitchen from my bathroom' Rio thought as he looked curiously around.
Rio's awe was shortly stopped when the maid entered a room that was vastly smaller compared to the other room, she put him on the bed and tied the blanket not far from suffocating him, Rio probably felt like the smallest doll in a set of matryoshka dolls.
Being able to move his limbs felt better but knowing it wasn't all that better as he couldn't even walk nor move well.
After the embarrassment of being changed and being dressed was done, the maidservant suddenly pulled out one of her breasts and started aiming it toward him.
-.-
'Isn't there a formula I could use' Rio thought as he sealed his lips shut, not having the strength to control his neck, after around 10 minutes of stubbornness he could only submit, mostly due to him gradually feeling hungry as well
The maidservant then left Rio in the room alone, a couple of minutes went by with Rio using his eyes to look around the room, until the door opened, and he saw a kid that looked roughly four to five years old peeping through the door then proceed to open the door and enter.
After gently closing the door behind him gently he walked towards me and proceeded to stare at Rio. 'Why don't you take a picture, it would last longer.' Rio thought sarcastically until he hovered his hands over Rio's face.
'Hey, kid what do you think you're doing, haven't you heard of the saying words are stronger than the sword' My thoughts were in disarray as I closed my eyes. I felt a slight pain in my left cheek. Rio gradually opened his eyes to see him pinching it.
Rio thinks being this defenseless is putting his mentality under trial as he realizes he was scared of a child. Rio couldn't help but scoff at his cowardice. 'Alright kid that enou-'as Rio was in thought, he was interrupted by his supposed father bursting through the door with a straight face, making his emotion to him indiscernible.
"&@:!&/ &$%"
As both walked out after whatever he just said to the child, for him to get the kid. 'I wonder if the kid is my supposed brother in this life, well it doesn't matter, let's make it my first goal to understand this strange foreign language' Rio thought of how to execute his first goal. The sooner he learns about this world's language the better for him.
A YEAR LATER
Rio could control his body to a certain extent and could now fully understand the language of this world and realized that his name was Rio Casmir, the name his deceased mother thought for him, as he grew up, he realized that this place has something that his previous world didn't have…MAGIC. The things every kid knows about from childhood, dressing up in tight onesies and flying to save the city. The same magic adults wish they had when they were too lazy to do menial things like turn off the lights when already lying down.
Since Rio has already completed his first goal of comprehending the language and he read a book he saw conveniently placed in a drawer in his room.
The book was called The Reign of The Santos Empire. This book recorded the Continent that we live in is actually called Acatrial. There are four Empires. Three were controlled by Royal families and the fourth was controlled by a Church. Each Empire was near the size of a continent on Earth.
The Four Empires are named:
1. The Santos Empire - Resides on the South of Acatrial
2. The Nerel Empire - Resides on the North of Acatrial
3. The Weiss Empire - Resides on the West of Acatrial
4. The Light Empire - Resides over the East of Acatrial
The Light Empire is currently having the biggest influence as it is larger both in size and in manpower, Second is the Weiss Empire, Nerel Empire, and Santos Empire are basically equal in manpower.
The Santos Empire has a very strict hierarchy-based system, as in if you are not a noble or royal it is basically impossible for you to get a high-ranking position in this empire. The furthest a commoner has ever gotten was a magistrate of a small, abandoned territory. The reason is to offset any probability of rebellion and keep the current Royal family in their comfy position.
'Well, hopefully, I'm a descendant of a noble, I don't want to have discrimination in the future, it wouldn't really matter because I'll just grow strong enough and go to a different empire if need be, as the other Empires don't rule like that. Probably why they're stronger in manpower. Now, is there a way to get a head-start to gain power?' As Rio racked my brain thinking of an answer, maybe the Qigong he was good at in my previous life could benefit me, since breathing exercises are very necessary here.
Rio proceeded to sit on his bed and slowly breathed in and out. 30 minutes passed and he didn't feel anything however, he continued, since he was used to it.

'What!' I shouted internally
'Isn't this the brand-new released A.I chip that my company distributed!?' Rio's mind was in an array as he tried to figure what was going on

'This must be the faulty A.I chip that the company gave me for my birthday, I tried it back in my previous life but it was busted. At least that hellish low-paying job finally brought me some benefits.'

"Question marks? I wonder if I can unlock it with time" Rio wondered
He explored the system a bit more, obviously, there were no skills, and the only thing he could do right now was walk and speak, however, he never talked to anyone so the servants thought he might be mute.
Rio got in the lotus position to start cultivating before he was disturbed by a kid around 5 years old, yes, it was Rio's older brother, his name is Sylvester, looks kind of like his father. He has brownish hair, still got baby fat but the red crimson eyes gleaming was definitely from his father.
He barged into Rio's room to start to pick on him, can you believe it? A 5-year-old kid picking on a one-year-old baby, humans do terrible things from a young. Well, Rio in his powerless state can do nothing but let him get pinched until his skin starts to flush red while tears flow down his eyes.
Luckily a maidservant came in at this point and rushed to pick Rio up, yep, the same maidservant that fed him from birth.
As Sylvester saw the frightened look of the maidservant as she carried Rio in her arms, Sylvester scoffed, rolled his eyes then left. He didn't cause trouble, he didn't use the classic young master card, and he just left. That's how he was he didn't want unnecessary trouble, and just did this type of thing when he was bored.
