Tumunomi Escaver was rolling with the Mechanical Spider's legs as he had jumped into the gaps between each of its legs and hung tight. That is, until the mechanical construct right itself and he fell down, landing on his head. Scampering away as he ignored the pain, he managed to stand directly behind a door hatch with a vault door handle.
When it opened, Projectile Guns first reared themselves in 3 different directions but did not see him.
"ALL CLEAR!"
"CHECK AGAIN!"
"POSITI-"
"AAARRGGHHH-"
Tumunimi Escaver which had been behind the door hatch hen did a 720 degree kick which knocked one out, and hit the weapons from the other 2's hands. [1]
Jumping forward, he snatched the gun falling from the unconscious body that intended to reach the ground with its weapon.
TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT
Lights appeared and evicted bodies with their names also being called while he quickly reached the unconscious body and then removed everything valuable from it as he pointed his ProjectileGun towards the mouth of the hatch.
"Welcome to my territory."
He did not answer an thought up ways to make the speaker come out and approach him.
"I know it is you, Tumunomi Escaver. Sadly, you just missed Jacob and Andrew who think I cannot recapture them both.
Tumumoni Escaver paused then aimed towards the hole at a 45 degree angle.
"You see, I am thinking it is in both our best inte-"

"Shut the doors!"

The bullets bounced around and did some damage.

There was more than a few screams and he did not stop until it was complete silence he heard. Actually, he had squeezed till all the ammunition had finished.
Then he grabbed another cartridge and reloaded it.
"Whew! Thanks for going easy on m-"

Tumunomi Escaver used the sound to cover his footsteps as he jumped and hoped his clever ruse would not be found out too soon.

5 meter hallway by 1 meter wide, 2 vault locked doors, bodies with their respective blood being evicted from the Phase by light as their mames were called and Tumunomi Escaver unsure of which door to open first.

He picked the one on his right, he began turning the wheel on the iron, and him pulling open the door, left him vulnerable to a spray of bullets that only manage to pierce his shoulder twice. As he shut he door though, he saw horror on their faces because a Shockwave Bomb was now active and in their faces.
TUT-TUT-TUT-BOOM-TUT-TUT-TUT-
The Mechanical Structure shivered terribly before Jason's voice thundered through it.
"TO JACOB AND ANDREW, CHARGE!"
Tumunomi Escaver was able to dip RestorativeBalm to his shoulder before he tried walking and fell down after the orientation began tilting.
TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-TUT-
Quickly he closed he hatch with his one food arm which was heavier han he had imagined it would be.

Now, the Mechanical Construct went totally sideways and he kept on being bounced around. And while he did get to the other door but it was after a series of events;

The boy fell, then stood, then knocked his head on the ceiling, then slapped his face against the ground to only smash his nose against the vault door he was planning to head into all along.
Tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-
By now, they would have started hearing he gunshots far away which would make them realise something was wring or that they had left him behind.
He turned the vault door as quickly as he could, only to find people in jumper suites glued to the ground as though the room had a different center of gravity.
Their guns were all pointed at him, so he simply hung by the circular handle.
In the 18 diameter of a circular dome, there was an inner dome that took up 10 diameters of it and had a transparent wall like it was plastic. Within there was a round table with touch screens, dials, buttons, knobs and levers being worked by a crew.
Jason also stood there with folded arms at his back and looked unfazed even as Shockwave Bombs where bundled in Tumunomi Escaver's hands. Jason too stood upright and Tumunomi Escavee scowled because pulling the door open with one hand had delayed him.
"I had always admired you, even before your feats at the 1st Phase."
"I've always longed combat with you."
The other boy then clapped his hands once and Tumunomi's hand dropped as the Mechanical Structure had righted himself. Meaning that, his shoulder almost got dislocated.
After a pause, he intended to jump unto his feet as he reached out to the Shockwave Bombs that had fallen out of his hand but the Mechanical Spider was sideways again.
CRACK!
TUmunomi Escaver did not hink he only imagined that sound when a fist connected with his rib. Blood escaped his lips.

"You are John and you are… Jake."
The pair had witnessed a structure of metal about 30 meters in length and at least 25 meters in diameter. It even had wings that beat from time to time. Overall, it reminded them of an insect but it had too many nuzzles pointing out of its body. Almost like goosebumps, the cannons or nuzzles made its presence eben more terrifying.
They both had simply waited until one of the nuzzles faced them before they got sucked in with such a strong suction force that it directly lifted them almost 50 feet in 20 seconds
The pair knocked their backs against a hard ceiling and landed on their chests. Then, painfully coughing to a stand they saw ProjectileGuns pointed at them.
Just as the tension rose, a young girl walked out from their crowded midst.
"I have been watching you."
Escorted by arms along a hallway lined with people, they eventually reached a control room. A staircase led to a chair and blocked the view of a screen that spanned an entire wall, and behind that wall was a plethora of joysticks and control pads along with touch screens, levers, buttons and vials.
The screen of at least 15 meters high and 10 meters tall showed the night sky, a stretch of desert with dunes and a fake moon. The girl then walked to the chair and left them at the bottom.
"You are John and you are… Jake."
She almost sounded disappointed and John kicked Jake into responding.
"Urgh- yes. We are John and Jake."
"Where is Peter?"
John's head snapped, met Jake's eyes in surprised abd wss not sure how to answer.
Was she a friend or foe to Peter?
She cleared her throat and repeated he question but Jake's face was beyond scowling.
"How dare you call his name?"
The snarl was almost completely feral and one of the kids attacked him with the back of his spine with his ProjectileGun.
"Why would I not dare. The young thief will never get away!!!"
Calm one next moment, then angry the next? John could totally not read the context but Kale needed to calm down.
"Apologies… savior… May we please know your name?"
His demeanour contradicted his friends and the girl quickly faces him.
"You want to know my name?"
"He never brought you up to us. So, we bing his good friends need to be sure we are not consigning him to danger by telling you things about him."
John had asked for her name and intentions, which eased her face back to indifferent before she stared at her feet.
"My mame is Iri."
No wonder she looked familiar; she was one of the people with outstanding results and had needed on one trial of the 1st Phase!
"Peter owes me a lot…" She dragged on as she twirled her long hair. "But it's not like we hate him. I just need to see him and verify something."
"Oh, then please can we have some refreshments? I am starving."
Jake looked at John like the biy had lost his mind.
"Will you hep me find Peter?"
"Peter is almost de-"
John had pounced upon Jake until he whispered something while they wrestled Iri's shock.
"Pull them apart!"
The fighting bodies were separated and Jake was beating hard but he hid the shock on his face.
John ket eye contact with him for a while before looking back up at her.
"Yes, we can help you, but only if you help us find our teammates."
A guard attacked John, kicking and hitting him until the gurl raised an arm.
"Enough."
Jake wanted to rip the guard apart as he stared at the girl with renewed hate.
"Sounds alright."
BANG!
Off in the distance, scene caused everyone on board to swivel their eyes to it and Iri pointed.
"GO! GO! GO!"
Jacob and Andrew had been running for a while and decided to rest when the air shook to reveal that high, high above their heads was a construct of metal which had too many tentacles to count which had posted them in its center.
Outside of an octopus, there was no other way to describe it.
"Any last words?"
Jacob was of a mind to climb up the tentacles but Andrew's despair was almost affecting him, even before the boy clenched his fore arm.
"Hey, Jacob we did good enough did we not?"
He did not answer.
"From what we hear, the sensation of death is real, right?"
"Hey, do you want to allow Peter to find us after we tell him that we won or after we tell him we lost?"
Andrew choked back tears. "Don't bring him up. For all we know, he might b-"
"You fool, what would lift his spirits up, our victory or defeat?"
Andrew paused. "Our victory."
"Good. Now, you are going to start running up a tentacle as soon as I do so that they have good targets. The moment of reaction will be counted by whoever survives the attack!"
"Do you understand!!?"
Andrew did not nod, but he saw
"Even if we cannot make it, we will act like we did because it will raise his spirits and it is not a lie."
"Do you understand?"
He nodded and braces himself for a run.
"On your marks, set g-"
BANG!
Tumumnomi Escaver was being beaten by Jason who could still someone not be affected by the moving Mechanical Construct they were in.
He would jump about, randomly displacing Tumunomi Escaver then flipping where they stood so that they rolled again.
Tumunomu Escaver was sick of it, but he finally got close to the inner dome after much preparation.
Then, taking a gamble, he dove into the inner dome when he let loose a Shockwave Bomb he had been hiding as he had been crouched over and bleeding but silent.
Jason quickly joined him in the inner dome as the other kids tried to meet with them.
BANG!
The explosions did not scratch the walls or even bother the dome event though light came to carry a lot of the participants away and their names were called.
Anyways, Tumunomi Escaver jumped to the control table and jumped on it several times before Jason tackled him to the floor.
"ENEMY MECH SOLDIER LOCATED!"
So, they hopped about several times before their construct suddenly when still after lowering itself. Eventually their scrambled fight caused the inner dome to be released and forced them all to loose their hold on the ground, joining Tumunomi Escaver.
A robotic voice filled their ears again.
"BLAST OFF SEQUENCE INITIATED."
BLAST OFF IN 3…
2…"
"1…"
The whole construct leaped at least 50 meters in the air. At least, now, they were in the clouds, before it maintained that height for a few seconds before they began rapidly dropping.
All glued to the ceiling because of the fall, it felt like it will never end until their Mech Soldier clashed into the tentacles of another one.
BANG!
The tentacles were pressed together and the upper body soon lost its hold on the ground as the appendages folded inwards to crash on the ground.
Outside Jacob and Andrew dove for their lives, but inside, Tumunomi Escaver fainted light growing all around himself.
