As they continued their trek, the forest began to thin out, giving way to a rocky hillside. The path grew steeper, but Zoey and Emma's encouraging words kept Layla going. They reached a plateau, where the view of the island and the surrounding ocean was breathtaking.
"This is the spot," Zoey announced, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Just up ahead, there's a grove of fruit trees. We've had so many good times here."
