Synopsis
Long ago their used to be a man who was said to be able to destroy an entire city with a single punch, his Strength and Speed was unrivaled. That man was the Number One Hero of the entire world at that time, however not much is known about that history. During his final fight he left the entirety of Japan devastated. Society their collapsed, and for some odd reason, wierd creatures of many types came from what was left. Anyway that was over Three Hundred years ago. Society has grown accustomed to the change. Advancement in technology due to brilliant scientists like Melissa Shield. Not to mention children born without Quirks are now One in One Million. Heroes of today are said to be Five times stronger than the ones in the past due to quirks evolving so rapidly. However unluckily for me, I just so happen to be a part of that One in One Million group. Also did I mention my name? I'm Akira nice to meet you, how about you follow me in my journey to stay alive in this chaotic yet peaceful world. (This is set in the world of MHA, approximately Three Hundred years from the cannon. So their will be a lot of changes. So I hope you Enjoy!) Cross Posted on FFN

Chapter 1 - Journey to Be a Hero (1)

"AKIRA! It's time for school." My eyes open as I get hit by the bright sunlight.

"I'M UP." I let out an annoyed shout.

"Man, how does Summer Vacation end so damn quickly?" I question as I look at the date on my phone.

I look around my room and see the clothes that I had prepared for the first day of school.

"Thankfully this is the last year I wake up on the first day of school, from then on, It will be the first day of Pentagon Academy." I say with a smile.

Pentagon Academy is the greatest University for aspiring Heroes, Scientists, Mechanics and so on.

It has over Ten Diffrent sections for one year of students, and each class has around Fifty students. So in other words it's ginormous.

I'm hoping to get into the Support Hero branch. As a support hero not only do I not need to go into the frontlines, I'll make shitload of money as well.

I went into the bathroom and do my daily morning routine. Brush my teeth, take a shit, shower and wear my clothes.

I stare at the bathroom mirror, man my hair is so messy. It's white in colour, which something I inherited from my Mom's side of the family.

I quickly comb my hair to make it less like a jungle.

I also put my contacts on, changing the light blue eye colour of mine into a brown ond.

Sigh!

If only we could afford the eye surgery, my eyes wouldn't be so bad.

I make my my way downstairs and see dad at the table and mom and behind him cooking some food.

Dad has Brown hair and Brown eyes, pretty average. What's not average is the absolute insane amount of muscle he has.

Man if only I had a quirk to make me buff, If only I had a quirk at all.

Sigh!

Their is no point on crying over something like that.

"Mom what's for breakfast?" I ask.

"Eggs and Pancakes." She replied while scrambling the egg.

"Nice." I took my seat with a smile.

"Akira." Dad called.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"How serious are you about going to the support program?"

Not this agian... Dad looks at me while putting his newspaper down.

"Dad you know that I've loved to make things as a kid. I also want to help people, the support program will allow me to make whatever I want and I'll be able to help people." He looks at me with a stern face.

"One needs a quirk to be able to be in fights agains villains and monsters, their is no knowing if your suit stops working. What will you do against someone who can kill you without losing a sweat without quirk?"

Again with that same shit.

He doesn't even think that I could be able to be a policeman, let alone be a hero.

"Honey we've been over this, Akira will do whatever he wants to do." Mom says angrily

I grab the plate from Mom's hand. Dad stays quiet not saying anything.

Stupid old man reading that stupid Newspaper.

If only he could just belive in his son.

Just once I want him to belive in me, so I can show him my talent. Make him feel proud.

But Nooooo, I don't have a quirk. I can't do anything since I'm such a weak little baby.

Sigh!

I let out another sigh. Let's just hope Mom didn't overcook the pancake.

<>

I look over at Akira.

He has grown so much in the past few. His rebellious faze has started, evident by the fact he doesn't understand he can't be hero.

I just hope Claire can make him understand that.

I look over at my watch. My eyes widen.

Shit! It's 8:30 already, Jamie is gonne be on my ass for being late.

"Akira." I say in a strict tone.

"What?"

"It's 8:30 already, hurry up or you will be late to school." I tell him.

"More like you'll be late, I've told you a hundred times that I can go by myself. For Fucks sake the school is only Twenty minutes away on a walk." He says with sarcasm

"AKIRA! THAT IS NO WAY TO TALK YO YOU FATHER." Claire looked at him with anger.

Well that is my queue to leave.

I quickly finish my food "Excuse Me." I get up from my seat and grab my keys.

"Be in the car in Five minutes." I leace the room hastily.

Claire's anger is not something I want to face on the first day. Even if I was the one being insulted, she would probably somehow put me under fire.

I make my way to the car, it's shiny, however something felt odd about it.

Damn it I need to get my air repulsors changer.

Sigh!

Guess I'm going home late today.

<>

I stare outside the window, I still have about Twenty minutes before school starts.

Dad was focusing on driving the car, thankfully he isn't bothering me.

"Akira." Dammit I jinxed myself.

"What?" I ask quitely.

He sighs.

"Are you One Hundred Percent you want to be a support hero?" He asks

"I've told you a hundred times, my answer has not changed.

"Akira, think about it. Being a hero is no easy task. It's not only Physically exhausting but mentally too. Trust me when I say I've met more than a dozen guys who are either crippled or not mentally present."

GodDammit why can't he just trust me?

I feel something inside me. A feeling so commmon nowadays.

"DAD JUST WHT THE HELL CAN'T YOU TRUST ME?" I scream.

The anger building up for the past year of the same bullshit got to me.

"I don't CARE IF PEOPLE HAVE DIED WHILE BEING A HERO, IT'S WHAT I WANT TO BE, YOU KNOW AS WELL AS I DO. So PLEASE.. please just trust me this once."

Tears start to well up in my eyes.

Why is it so hard for my own dad to not belive in me.

The car stops. I look outside the window.

Guess we're already here. I open the door, well try to.

"Akira just hear me out."

"No Dad I WON'T here you out." I unlock the door and leave the car.

<>

I stare at him leaving the car, his back was turned on me.

Am I a bad Father?

No I just want my son to be safe. Safe from ever experiencing something like that again.

A distant memory cones to mind, one that had been giving me nightmares for a long time.

<>

Akira stood infront of me, making his best pouty face.

"Daaaad, one scoop. Pleaseee." He tried to beg in his broken words.

"No Ice cream. It will make your tummy hurt." I make up a random excuse.

"UNGGHH, I hate you Daddy." He turns his head away from me.

Cute.

"Why do you hate Daddy?" I ask amused.

"Daddy don't give me Ice cream." He replies with an annoyed voice.

"Fine Daddy will buy you an Ice cream, just this once. Don't tell Mommy okay." He quickily nods and hops qround in excitement.

Man having a child was one of the best decisions in my life.

I make my way to the ice cream van.

"Hi, how may I help you?" The Ice cream amn asks.

"Just one scoop of Vanilla, in a cone." I say.

"Coming right up." The man says with a smile.

After a few minutes he hands me the ice cream.

"Here you go." I grab the cone.

"How much?" I ask.

"It will b-."

BOOM!

I turn my head around reflexivly.

"DON'T COME FUCKING NEAR ME OR THE KID WILL GET IT."

Akira, some guy is holding Akira hostage.

"DAAAD." He starts to cry while reaching out to me.

"AKIRAA!" I run for him.

A hand stops me from going forward.

"Sir please CALM down, if you go forward their is no knowing what will happen to your son." I see her face.

"My Son, he has my Son!" I still couldn't grasp the situation but I stop myself from going forward. The man was almost twice as muscular as me. He had a wierd bag on his face covering his identity.

Calming down I realise who the women infront of me is.

Wait isnt this....Eri. Why is the number 1 hero chasing after him. Just how strong is he?

My heart starts to beat faster. My worst thoughts are starting to come true.

"Juggernaut let the child go." Eri says trying to diffuse the situation.

"The Fuck do you think I am Stupid? I let him go and you'll capture me. I just got out of jail. I am NOT going back." He says grabbing Akira tighter.

"What do you want us to do to let the kid go?" Eri asks.

"Let me be free, clear me of all my charges." He says.

"Alright big man I'll try to do that, just let him go." Eri says.

"Alright.. alright but, promise me." He says while looking at her.

"I promise." She says.

"Eri, what's the situation." Another women suddenly makes her way beside Eri.

Her eyes turn to the Juggernaut guy.

"Juggernaut." She says as lightning started to form in her arms.

"WAIY ELEKTRO, NO." Eri screams while looking at her arm

"MILLION VOLT WHIP." A giant whip of lightning is formed in her hand and she launches it at Juggernaut.

That'll hit Akira.

"NOOOOOOOO."
