Chapter 246 - secret milk mix

The aroma of spices and herbs, left over from the previous day's cooking, filled the dimly lighted kitchen of the Rajeev mansion. When the clock reached the crack of dawn and the world became still, shadows danced around the walls.

Someone in a black cloak sneaked in the rear entrance, and no one else in the house knew about it. The plush carpeting muted their footsteps as they walked to the refrigerator. They took out a glass of milk and placed it on the counter with a deft touch.

The trespasser took out a little vial filled with an unidentified liquid from their pocket. They slowly added a few drops to the milk, observing how it blended in with the white liquid, swirling and mixing.

A groan sounded through the kitchen as they replaced the bottle, and the figure froze. But all was quiet again, and they carried on with their covert mission. They took one last look around the space before vanishing into the darkness, leaving no sign of their existence.

Nobody realized that the milk glass now contained a powerful mixture, the contents of which were a secret that would eventually come to light with unanticipated repercussions.

..

Uma, who had been positioned outdoor was able to not help but be enthralled by Gowthami's attractiveness as she and Sashi approached the entrance of Rajeev's chamber. She walked up to Gowthami, adoration shining in her eyes. "Gowthami, my dear, you look absolutely stunning today," Uma said with sincere happiness in her voice.

Under Uma's approving glance, Gowthami flushed slightly and said, "Thank you so much, aunty. You're much too considerate."

Uma said, chuckling quietly, "No, sweetheart, that's the reality. Rajeev is really fortunate to have you as his lovely and kind spouse. You light up our household with so much joy and pleasure."

Gowthami was moved by Uma's acceptance and kindness, and her words caused her cheeks to flush a deeper shade of pink. "I'm grateful, aunty. Being a part of this loving family makes me feel blessed," she grinned appreciatively.

Uma's remarks reaffirmed Gowthami's position in their hearts and emphasized Rajeev's good fortune in having her as his wife, reflecting the passion and delight surrounding the impending marriage.

Uma spoke with Gowthami for a little while, showing her appreciation before turning to her daughter-in-law Sashi and grinning gently. "Saki, Please fetch the glass of milk from the kitchen. I've already made it for Gowthami," she said in a kind and maternal tone.

Sashi, sensing Uma's gesture, smiled kindly and nodded. "Obviously, mom. She said, "I'll get it right away," and hurried into the kitchen.

Uma turned to face Gowthami at that point and added, "Please take this glass of milk with you before you go inside the room, Gowthami. You'll feel revived by it, and Rajeev will be happy to see you wearing it."

Gowthami was moved by Uma's consideration . "Aunty, thank you very much. I am grateful for your kindness and hospitality," she said.

Uma gave Gowthami a warm smile and a gentle touch on the hand. "I'm glad to help, sweetie. Everyone is thrilled to have you join our family," she remarked warmly and with a feeling of belonging.

The moment demonstrated Uma's maternal personality and her attempts to make sure Gowthami was at ease and content before meeting Rajeev. It also emphasized how friendly the family was to Gowthami and how much they looked forward to her being married to Rajeev.

Sashi stopped and knitted her brow in surprise as a strange smell met her senses as she entered the kitchen. She looked about the room, attempting to find the source of the strange odor, but she was unable to do so. Silently, "What could this be?" she asked herself, her eyes flashing with worry.

Sashi's cognitive process was interrupted at that moment by Uma's voice calling out from the next room. "Sashi dear, could you please bring the milk glass for Gowthami?" Sashi was startled back to the present by Uma's request, and she quickly found the glass of milk that Uma had previously made, ignoring the strange scent that was bothering her.

Sashi quickly returned to Uma and Gowthami's location after grabbing the glass to avoid keeping them waiting. Though the strange fragrance persisted in her thoughts, she ignored it for the time being in order to fulfill Uma's request and make sure everything was prepared for Gowthami and Rajeev's meeting.

The experience gave an air of mystery to the otherwise routine day, and Sashi felt a strange disquiet as she went about her responsibilities, wondering about the source of the enigmatic odor that had momentarily caught her attention.

.....

A sea of flowers covered every available space in Rajeev's chamber, a monument to the joy of his wedding night, as he sat there. There was a subtle aroma of jasmine and roses in the air, evoking a romantic and exciting atmosphere.

A flurry of emotions swirled in Rajeev's head as he awaited his wife, Gowthami. Even though they'd been intimate before and had shared experiences, something uneasy tingled in him. His heart raced from the weight of the historic event, not from the dread of the unknown.

The eerie ambiance was heightened by the shifting shadows created by the room's flickering candles. Anxiety and excitement combined to create a habit that led Rajeev to often check the clock. In order to make lifelong memories with Gowthami, he wanted everything to be ideal.

The minutes seemed to elapse into hours, until at last there came a gentle tap on the door. When Rajeev stood up to welcome Gowthami, his anxieties vanished in the warmth of her smile. His pulse accelerated. Every moment of their wedding night was captured in the petals of the flowers that decorated their chamber, making it read like a masterfully written chapter in their love story.
