Chapter 231 - boss

Nand was slumbering on his bed for a short while when he awoke to find himself confronted by an attractive young lady seated in an armchair with her upper body resting on the headboard of his mattress. She was peacefully asleep.

As he looked down at Venya's slightly swollen leg, he was struck with sadness, even though he had been delighted to see her.

He instantly recalled the event that had transpired just a couple of hours prior, as well as the manner the attacker had attempted to harm Venya.

His fury was so great that he considered killing the individual who had attempted to injure Venya.

Nand pondered, as he observed Venya, why she was reclining here rather than conversing and relaxing in her room.

Abruptly, a thought crossed his mind: had Venya remained to take care of him? This idea affected him deeply, and he cherished Venya much.

Despite her pain, she was mostly concerned with looking after him.

Nand reached to stroke Venya's head, but he froze in the middle when he overheard a sound from within the room.

Upon entering the room and observing that Nand was aware, Rajeev approached him and inquired, "Are you awake? How are you currently feeling?"

Venya woke up from her slumber and noticed nand because she heard Rajeev's words.

She rushed closer to him after learning that he was stable and inquired, "How are you currently feeling? Are you experiencing any pain?" She was checking him out like a doctor.

Approaching them, Rajeev stated, "I should inquire about that, Venya, since I am the physician at this hospital and not you." He teased Venya with such remarks.

Even though he was delighted by their relationship, he was not opposed to Venya's feelings for Nand.

Rajeev was met with Venya's subdued ire and puppy visage as she admonished him to move to the side in order to inspect Nand.

"How are you experiencing now?" Rajeev inquired, taking his pulse first.

"Yes, I'm doing just well". Nand said, "Thank you, Rajeev."

Upon taking his temperature, Rajeev advised, "However, you must rest for two days before you can resume your previous level of activity."

"I believe there is No need for that, Rajeev. I feel well and may be discharged by tonight", the man responded.

Nand had a lot on his plate. He needed to locate the intruder who entered the home today, and because Rajeev and Gowthami were in danger, he also needed to provide Rudra with all the information and take immediate action.

Venya, preoccupied with Nand's words, stated authoritatively, "Don't you catch what Rajeev said? You have an extended hospital stay of a handful of days and have no intention of leaving."

She spoke in a manner like to that of a boss, asserting her complete control over him.

Nand was astonished to see Venya giving him instructions, and he really found it amusing.

She really spoke those things out of concern that he would disappear from her view. She has a strong desire to have him at her side forever, but she is unsure of why she feels that way or why she gave him the order.

Just as nand was about to speak, the room's door opened once again, allowing Balavan and Veer to storm inside.

Balavan immediately hurried to Nand's bed to see to him, while Veer went directly to get his daughter and gave her a hug.

How he felt upon learning that his daughter had been harmed is only known to him. Veer loved his daughter dearly; he could not bear to watch her suffer.

With a sheepish grin, Venya responded, "Dad, I'm fine," as he pulled away from his father's embrace.

However, veer's lips were met with a worried frown as he spotted her appearance—a slight limp and a visible swelling on her ankle.

"Venya, what took place?" As he pulled her inside and carefully made his way to one of the room's couches, he spoke in a worried tone and allowed her to sit down.

Venya acknowledged that her father demonstrated concern and affection towards her by stating, "Papa, I am fine. Rajeev treated me; I will be fine in a couple of days."

Veer bent down to examine her ankle, and his eyes furrowed. "Let me check." His fingertips lingered over the inflamed region, lightly yet cautiously.

"Dad, it's just a sprain," Venya comforted him, although her eyes were clearly uncomfortable.

However, Veer felt a deep-seated protective instinct when he saw his daughter in agony, regardless of the severity of the damage. "You ought to have informed me immediately," he said, his voice a mixture of concern and mild reprimand.

He was able to learn via Ram that his daughter had been hurt, but up until that point he was unaware of it. He hurried to the hospital as soon as he learned of Venya's injuries to make sure she was okay.

When he saw an ice pack next to the sofa and helped elevate her hurt ankle, he couldn't help but feel a persistent anxiety creep into his heart.

When the ice pack reached Venya's swollen leg, she felt a little discomfort and shifted uncomfortably, but her eyes remained closed.

He kept his focus only on her wounded kid, ignoring everything else around him.

His fatherly instincts were triggered by every grimace and pained sigh Venya gave him, pushing him to do all within his power to make her feel better.

Balavan approached nand and inquired in a kind manner, "How are you, my boy?" while Veer was occupied with her daughter.

"It's okay, dad, nothing to worry about" , Rajeev reassured his father.

"Why are you in this room? You should be in your room," Veer abruptly questioned his daughter.
