When Rajeev turned to face Sashi, she asked,"Regarding yourself, sibling, where is the present and what do you intend to present to your spouse? "
Everyone would give the new bride a few presents as it was Gowthami's first day of marriage at her in-laws' home.
Giving a new bride a gift from her in-laws is a common cultural custom in many nations. It promotes kindness, acceptance, and support, which strengthens bonds within the family. Presents may also be useful, supporting the newlyweds as they start their married life.
While Gowthami was preparing the delectable breakfast, Sashi inquired of Rajeev what he had truly given Gowthami as a gift.
Rajeev continued, "I had previously presented her with a gift," while holding a parcel for Gowthami and grinning.
Gowthami gave that a hearty chuckle. He advanced toward her ear canal and murmured, "It turned out your father-in-law's offering in addition to mine."
This present was prepared by Rajeev and Rudra to be given to Gowthami beforehand.
In the Rajeev household, it was absolutely customary to provide a gift to the newly arrived individual, especially bride. Therefore, Rudra offered it to Rajeev earlier so that he could present it to Gowthami.
Though Rudra had intended to present it to Gowthami shortly following a hearty meal, he asked Rajeev for assistance given that he had reservations that it might disclose his true identity and raise suspicions among others in the vicinity.
Gowthami was overjoyed to get the present and couldn't wait to find out what it was.
"Crack up, Gowthami, and let's explore what's inside," Sashi pushed her. She couldn't wait to see what Rajeev had brought her in person.
"Yes, without a doubt, Sashi" . Once the package was opened, Gowthami discovered a key inside. Feeling perplexed, Sashi asked Rajeev, "What's this key?"
Upon seeing the key, Gowthami inquired,"?Is it the one meant for that particular room? "
With a gleaming grin, Rajeev inquired, "What are your thoughts? You should verify for yourself."
Sashi and Abhi asked with interest." What's happening, and which key belongs in which room? ",Both individuals expressed their thoughts simultaneously.
According to Gowthami, "Let me show you." and led them inside the Rudra Library's chamber.
When Abhi saw them approaching the Rudra Library, he said, "Why do you guys travel here?" in a bewildered tone.
Rajeev responded, "You will see, brother," gesturing for Gowthami to open the door.
When Gowthami opened the door, she was taken aback to find so many books. She thanked Rajeev as she sprang up with glee.
",Thank you Rajeev, I really enjoyed your gift."
"I can speculate as to what my wife desires," said Rajeev.
Then Rajeev and Gowthami shared a glance and recalled an event.
On the day Gowthami battled the snake in the jungle and went to grab a book from that room after arriving home, Rajeev swiped his father's library key. Rajeev often locks the room due to these books. He believes that his father's separation from him and his mother was caused by these writings. Rajeev's grandmother also stored some of his grandfather's books here.
He was hesitant to open the room as it had memories of a challenging upbringing that made him feel a variety of emotions, including melancholy and anxiety as well as nostalgia.
After a while he gave up thinking, took the key, and opened the door because he was intrigued by the hypothesis his grandfather had put in his diary regarding people suffering from memory loss.
"I have to find my grandfather's journal; I know Grandma kept it here," he murmured to himself before starting his hunt.
Gowthami stepped into the room and observed Rajeev searching for an item there; she then inquired, "Rajeev, could I be of assistance? What precisely are you looking for?" Rajeev was occupied with going over several books in the space.
His response upon spotting her was "Yes, if possible." He reasoned that finding it would be simple with her assistance.
"Alright, give me the specifics," Gowthami said as she started describing her position.
While rummaging through his grandfather's notebook, Rajeev said, "I'm hunting for my grandfather's journal; it will be found in the drown color book."
Gowthami gave him a nod of consent to assist, then turned her attention to the bookshelves. She was taken aback by the collection and said, "Wow, Rajeev, you have a tremendous collection."
Rajeev said, "Most of my father's books are in this room, while a handful are at my clinic."
" Rajeev, is there anything I can borrow from this library? " Gowthami asked. after taking a cursory glance around. She had a great time reading the books.
Gowthami, a voracious reader, had a mixture of excitement and overwhelm at seeing so many books in one location. She exhibits a variety of behaviors, such as excitedly perusing titles, closely analyzing book covers, and really expressing excitement and wonder about the wide range of literary options.
With a quick "No, excuse me," Rajeev replied. "My father left us due of his writings, which I dont want anybody to touch.? "
The remark from Rajeev infuriated Gowthami. She seemed dissatisfied, showing a range of reactions on her face, including lowered lips, wrinkled brows, and lowered eyelids. Her look conveys the general weight and strain as her eyes let go of the previously noticeable sparkle. Her hunched shoulders and reserved demeanor convey the emotional toll that the setback has had on her.
He was sorry to see her miserable, yet he was reluctant to back down.
It was out of fear, insecurity, and a need for power that forced Rajeev to influence to control his partner's behavior—even if he really was unwilling to speak harshly to Gowthami.
He is aware that this kind of conduct strains relationships by causing mental anguish and a breakdown in communication. It is imperative that he responds to their concerns in an amicable and proactive manner instead of using insulting language to control Gowthami. Sincere conversation improves mutual understanding and fortifies bonds between them.
Upon discovering the diary, Rajeev picked it up and said, "All right, let's head out; I've got my book." as they both went out of the space.
Next he walked to Gowthami and stated, "I remember the day my father abandoned us; which is why I permanently lock this door. All it did was hurt me. I apologize. "
In a brief statement, he attempted to provide an explanation for his actions against her.
After grabbing the book, Rajeev left for the clinic.
Gowthami is aware of Rajeev's history; in reality, he was raised by his grandmother after losing his parents.
She was aware of the rationale for Rajeev's actions towards her.
She is aware that open communication, empathy, and attentive listening are the building blocks of understanding between couples. A better understanding may be achieved via being open and honest about one's views and feelings, listening to one another's viewpoints, and carefully expressing one's emotions. After all, developing a solid relationship requires trust as well as patience, which enables couples to have loving and respectful conversations. Despite her greater curiosity to go through those volumes, she didn't inquire more about this chamber since she understood Rajeev's emotions.
