Abhi had just been about to enter the study room when he caught fragments of the conversation between Gurdeep and Rajeev. His footsteps slowed as he realized what they were discussing. His mind raced, processing the revelation.
Ram and Rajeev encountered someone from Gowthami's past? Abhi thought. Why are they keeping this from me? A sense of unease crept over him. Something about that day had seemed off, and now he had confirmation that there was more going on than anyone had admitted.
Amidst his reverie, abhi spotted a ram making his way inside the residence.
Ram was casually twirling the car keys between his fingers and whistling, unaware of the tension brewing in Abhi's mind.
'I intend to seek out from this idiot what transpired in the wilderness that particular afternoon. As soon as I urge him, he routinely comes up with an inventive ruse. However, I'm not going to leave him that east'. Abhi thought, his eyes narrowing as he watched Ram's carefree attitude.
Determined, Abhi strode toward Ram, his expression unreadable but his steps deliberate. The moment Ram noticed Abhi approaching, his stomach dropped. The casual whistling stopped, and a bead of sweat formed on his forehead.
Why is he walking towards me like that? Ram panicked internally.
'God, help me, why is this brother approaching me? Will we engage in combat at this moment?'
Before Abhi could say anything, Ram blurted out in a rapid-fire tone, trying to deflect the situation as he always did, "Big Brother, we're supposed to go shopping, remember?have you omitted? The girls are waiting! Let's not waste time with battles right now—we can do that later, next time, I swear!" His voice had a desperate edge to it as he tried to walk away, keys jangling in his hand.
Grinning slyly, Abhi placed a reassuring hand on Ram's shoulder, feeling the young man tense beneath his touch. "Don't be alarmed, brother," Abhi said in a calming tone. " I'm certainly not in a rush for combat today. I don't plan on into battle anymore given that I was so lethargic in the morning."
Ram exhaled in relief, his previous fears evaporating. "That's a pretty fantastic idea, brother," he replied, his smile returning. Abhi's words put him at ease, and he believed that he had dodged a bullet—at least for now.
But Abhi had other plans in mind. He could read Ram like an open book, knowing exactly how to get him talking without raising his defenses. I just need the right hook, Abhi thought, mentally crafting his next move.
"Hey, Ram," Abhi said, shifting his tone to something more casual and friendly, "I could really use your help with something for the wedding. Can you lend me a hand?"
Ram's eyes lit up immediately, his usual enthusiasm for anything involving Rajeev's wedding kicking in. "Of course! Anything you need, just say the word, brother!"
Got him, Abhi thought, pleased with how easily Ram had fallen into his trap. He had a feeling this conversation would reveal what had happened in the wilderness, but first, he needed to lower Ram's guard completely.
"Great," Abhi continued, clapping Ram on the back. "Come on, let's head to my room and go over a few things. I think you'll have some great ideas."
Ram, eager to be of help, eagerly followed Abhi inside, completely unaware of the real reason behind this sudden request.
Sashi watches it all and comprehends precisely what Abhi is plotting.
She was also curious about the truth that they were withholding.
She trailed after them as they entered the room again.
"How can I assist you, cousin?", Ram inquired as soon as he and abhi walked into the room.
With a pointy object from his back, Abhi responded, "By disclosing the real story which you guys are genuinely whispering and what you are up to."
When Ram realized he was stalled, he muttered to himself, "Ho ram, how dumb you are."
With a bizarre grin, Ram stepped back and murmured, "Absolutely nothing, my older brother."
" Please put an end to this silly game right now". Abhi was irate and looked quite serious.
His rage took Ram by surprise. "It's illegal, brother, to scare a little child". Ram was backing away in terror.
Abhi became agitated and said, "Ho come on, ram, what is this all about?" How much longer will you people try to trick me? what precisely transpired when you guys got lost in the jungle. "
" It is pointless to question him if you need to know", a voice said from the entryway.
When Ram and Abhi turned to face the source of the sound, they spotted Sashi entering the room while holding her hands crossed.
"Do you honestly believe that he would give you the truth this time?" she said, looking at Abhi.
Abhi was uncertain about it as well. He also has no idea whether or not Ram would reveal the truth. He tricked Abhi by making up tales every time.
"Ram won't reveal the truth unless Rajeev tells him to. He won't ever say that, abhi, not even if you murder him." Sashi stated so as she gave Ram an air of seriousness.
Abhi is aware of that as well. Ram won't ever cross Rajeev's line. . However, frightening him will simply bring about Ram repeating him new tale.
With a gesture of elegance, Sashi addressed abhi, saying, "Go question Rajeev straightaway unless you honestly want to hear. When ram hears you these tales, ensure that he won't utter them."
'Yes, Sashi is correct—I will not learn anything from this idiot.' Idea Cellular in abhi
Abhi glared at Ram and said, "I'm heading back to Rajeev." Infuriated, he stormed out of the room and headed to the study area.
Ram heaved a big sigh with relief once abhi departed.
He turned to face Sashi and said, "Sister, I appreciate you sticking to your word."
"I can only assist you once, since I lost the wager, but I won't be able to help you again," Sashi stated.
Ram and Sashi had placed a wager earlier in the day, and when Sashi lost, Ram asked Sashi to assist him in handling Abhi.
He got Sashi's approval, but she clarified that she could only assist him sometimes. Sashi is helping him now in order to fulfill her vow.
"What is this all about, ram? What is it you guys are concealing off?", Sashi walked and slumped on the sofa, her expression filled with grief. "Consider us foreigners, do you? Do you really not believe Abhi? He is doing his hardest to assist you folks."
Feeling extremely terrible for Sashi, Ram went kneeling in front of her, took her hands in his, and apologized to her. "Though we just assured him that we wouldn't divulge anything, it's not like we want to keep it from you guys. All I can tell is that it has something to do with Rajeev as well as Gowthami. I apologize; please accept my helplessness here."
However, Sashi glanced at Ram in Astonishment. "You assured him? Who is this guy?"
"I am unable to pin down him, but all I can tell is that he is a Gowthami guru. It would be beneficial for Rajeev to know a great deal of information if we wait till Gowthami recollects her history."
" We're family, and we'll support one another through good times and bad." Sashi took a long breath and replied, "Okay, I will not pester you any more."
Happily, Ram answered, "Thank you, sister."
Everything that Ram said to Sashi was heard by Abhi. When Abhi returned to get his phone from the room as he was about to leave, he unintentionally overheard Ram and Sashi talking.
