Chapter 104 - monkey dance

"I know you're strong, Gowthami," Ram said, his tone light but sincere. "But even though you came here alone, you could've contacted me. I would've gladly come with you to see your bravery firsthand. If you'd asked, I could've helped you. We could've come together, sister-in-law."

Before Ram could say more, he noticed the grave expression on Rajeev's face, his anger barely concealed. Ram fell silent immediately, realizing he'd overstepped.

Rajeev turned to Gowthami, his voice tight with controlled frustration. "Come on, I'll give you a ride."

Gowthami hesitated, her gaze shifting between the two brothers. "Rajeev, we're almost there. Why can't we just go on foot and take a look?"

"Get on the horse," Rajeev ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Without another word, Gowthami climbed onto the horse, her expression heavy with sorrow. She didn't argue, though her heart clearly wasn't in it. Rajeev mounted beside her, his features still tense.

From a distance, Abhi watched the scene unfold. He was too far away to hear their conversation, but he could see the dejected look on Gowthami's face. She had been sitting tiredly on a rock moments before, and now, after what seemed like an argument, she was reluctantly mounting the horse. He watched as the two figures on horseback began riding deeper into the jungle.

A flood of questions rushed through Abhi's mind. "Where are these people taking Gowthami? Why did she go with them? What kind of relationship does she have with these men? Could she be in danger?"

The thought gnawed at him. "I have to save her if she's in trouble. I can't let them take her away, especially with Rajeev's wedding coming up. What if something terrible happens? What if she doesn't come back? Rajeev would be heartbroken."

Abhi's thoughts raced, and he became more certain that something wasn't right. Gowthami had looked so unwilling, so sorrowful, as if she had no choice but to follow them. His protective instincts kicked in, and he glanced around frantically, spotting a large stick nearby. Without thinking, he grabbed it and began running toward them, determined to stop whatever was happening.

"Hey! You there! Stop!" Abhi shouted, his voice filled with urgency. "Put my sister down! Where are you taking her? Are you kidnapping her?"

Rajeev and Ram, startled by the sudden outburst, turned in their saddles to see Abhi charging toward them, his eyes blazing with determination and a large stick raised in the air.

The jungle fell silent as they all stared at each other, the tension thick in the air, wondering how this unexpected confrontation would unfold.

The sight of abhi in the distance astonished Ram and Rajeev.

"what he's doing in this spot" . Ram was taken aback.

As Rajeev considered how abhi got there as well, he thought, "I assume he could possibly follow Gowthami."

" Would you like to put on a sketch show?", Ram came up with an idea instantly.

"Are you guys with me?" he said, glancing at Rajeev and Gowthami.

As soon as Rajeev realized, he gave "hi fi" to Ram. "Alright, let's get started."

Gowthami said, perplexed, "What are you guys referring about?"

"Please act as if we are kidnapping you, sister-in-law."

" However, why?"

" Just wait and watch" , Rajeev remarked, glancing at Abhi with a sly smirk.

Abhi approached them with a big stick in his grasp.

"I'm giving you people a heads-up to leave my sister or I'll murder you all shortly."

Ram spoke in a distinctive voice, turning to face Gowthami, and said, "I urged you to leave solely, hence why you hauled your brother along."

Rajeev also altered the tone of his voice, saying, "Yeah, I told you earlier to come here by yourself or else I'll kill your spouse, but you recruited your brother to lend a hand."

Rajeev demonstrated that it was realistic by pulling out his pistol right away.

Abhi mulled it over himself." I just misinterpreted her, this group of individuals scared Gowthami to come here by herself."

Ram glared at Abhi and threatened to murder the girl if he didn't back off.

Ram pointed his dagger at Gowthami.

Rajeev pointed the rifle at Gowthami and shouted, "Yes, back off or else I will kill her."

With Gowthami in their care and him alone himself, Abhi has to rescue her and is considering how to do it.

"I'm going to offer you guys everything that you are interested in, so please don't harm her; she's innocent. Leave her alone."

Abhi was very concerned about Gowthami. Even though Abhi had a tremendous physique, he may not be able to manage those two at once and rescue Gowthami. He was left without any weapons and had no clue whether they had any with them. As a result, he cannot battle with them and save Gowthami by himself. His primary concern was Gowthami's safety.

"Then immediately perform push-ups" , said Ram.

Abhi was forced to repeat what he had said: "What? pushup?"

Abhi had anticipated a ransom demand or something equally serious, but instead, the situation had devolved into pure absurdity. They were tormenting him with bizarre requests, forcing him to perform exercises like a circus act.

"Hurry up and do it now!" Ram commanded with exaggerated anger, barely keeping a straight face.

"Alright, alright, I'm doing it!" Abhi grumbled, dropping to the ground and immediately starting push-ups. His muscles strained, and sweat began to bead on his forehead as he powered through them, determined to do whatever it took to keep Gowthami safe. After about 50 push-ups, he was utterly exhausted and looked up at Rajeev with a pleading expression, hoping they would let her go.

But Rajeev wasn't finished. His eyes sparkled with a mischievous gleam as he added, "Stop right there. Now, dance like a monkey."

Abhi froze, his mouth hanging open in disbelief. "A monkey dance?" he echoed, his voice heavy with frustration and exhaustion. The absurdity of the request seemed to push him to the edge of his patience.
