Gowthami carried out Rajeev's instructions. Rajeev checked out her as she made her way to her room.
They sensed footsteps approaching from their vicinity.
Gowthami remarked, "Rajeev, I believe somebody is approaching. You should hurry in."
Hearing them, Rajeev quickly followed Gowthami inside the chamber. Later, both Gowthami and Rajeev crouched behind the curtain in order to keep an eye on the those approaching outside the window.
Gurdeep approached cautiously with a torch, as Uma trailed after him.
"Gurdeep, what's that noise? Do you happen to notice any individual around?", Uma questioned.
Gurdeep looked around and saw a horse munching on some grass not far away.
"It is simply a horse; I believe it escaped from its stable. Rest assured that nobody is around. You have woken me up, and you are keeping me up at night whilst I've got an awful lot of duties to do ahead". Gurdeep said a little impatiently.
" Gurdeep, no. I witnessed a shadowy figure; he may be a robber" . Uma was terrified and very anxious.
Gurdeep added, "Do not fret, uma. This is Ram's house. If a burglar enters, Ram will take care of him. If ram spotted a burglar around his house, it would be his last day."
Uma was going to say something, however.
"It's Dharmagiri, and you know this hamlet well. Do you think if a burglar enters the ram house?" Gurdeep interrupted her.
The villagers take good care of Ram and Rajeev, and they will defend them no matter what. They also won't let any thieves inside Ram or Rajeev's home.
They spotted someone approaching them out of nowhere; Gurdeep recognized him as the employee of Ram's Stable.
Gurdeep said, "What are you doing here?" right away.
The worker remarked, "Sir, a few horses left the stable in the middle of the night. I arrived to take them back to the stable for the reason that I hadn't locked the door."
The worker was afraid that Ram would reprimand him when he suddenly woke up and spotted that the stable doors were open and that two horses were gone. He immediately set out to find the missing horses.
Ram and Rajeev grabbed the horses in a rush and neglected to notify the worker that they were in the bush. The guy assumed that this was his fault since he had been irresponsible.
Gurdeep remarked, "Look, I'm assuming you spotted him . No one is around. Let's get back to the room," and he led Uma back there.
Uma really walked back to her room to get some water after seeing a shadow close to Ram House. She immediately assumed that a robber would be passing through the area, so she told Gurdeep and they went for a thorough inspection.
Uma said, "I'm sorry," to Gurdeep.
Gurdeep remarked, "It's okay, let's get back. I have to go for a nap."
..
Gowthami and Rajeev were at ease as soon as Uma and Gurdeep departed.
"Thank heaven we made it out" , Gowthami sighed.
It was only then that she realized Rajeev was behind her, that they were extremely near, that Rajeev's chest was brushing Gowthami's back.He had her trapped between his knees and hands.
After they slipped into the room, Rajeev instinctively moved to the opposite side of Gowthami, both of them silently watching the scene unfolding before them. The room was dim, the soft glow of moonlight casting faint shadows, and neither realized just how close they were standing to one another.
Gowthami remained perfectly still, but she could feel the warmth of Rajeev's body pressing against her back. The awareness of his nearness sent a shiver down her spine. The scent of him, mixed with the subtle tension in the air, heightened her senses. She swallowed hard, her heart beginning to race in her chest.
Rajeev, just as aware of their proximity, found it increasingly difficult to focus on anything other than her presence. The familiar scent of Gowthami—fresh and alluring—invaded his senses, making it impossible to concentrate. His pulse quickened, his breath catching slightly as the space between them seemed to disappear.
Unable to hold back, Rajeev's voice cut through the silence, low and firm. "Gowthami," he said, his tone laced with a stern intensity.
At the sound of his voice, her breath hitched, and her heart pounded even harder. The tension between them was palpable, charged with unspoken words and the magnetic pull of being so dangerously close to one another.
For a moment, the room felt smaller, the distance between them nonexistent, and time seemed to stop. Neither of them moved, but the air between them was thick with anticipation.
Gowthami softly rolled over; their lips are barely an inch apart, their faces so near to one another. Her rosy lips, which are even more radiant in the moonlight, are visible to him.
Rajeev approached her slowly, his eyes never leaving hers. With a gentle but deliberate touch, he pressed his lips to her upper lip, soft and tentative at first. His hand slid around her slender waist, pulling her closer, while his other hand moved behind her head, fingers tangling in her smooth hair. Gowthami responded instinctively, wrapping her arms around him, drawing him nearer.
Their lips parted, and Rajeev's tongue explored hers as their soft kiss deepened, turning into something far more heated, more urgent. Their tongues danced, teasing and tasting one another, lost in the intensity of the moment. Neither of them noticed how they ended up on the mattress, Rajeev's body pinning Gowthami's to the bed, their breaths quickening with every passing second.
With slow, deliberate movements, Rajeev began to undress her. His fingers worked with care, peeling away the layers of her clothing, tossing them carelessly to the floor. The room seemed to close in around them, the only sounds their hurried breaths and the thudding of their hearts as they moved beneath the duvet.
Their bodies pressed together, skin against skin, every touch electric. Time slipped away as they were wrapped in each other's warmth, their movements slow, sweet, and intimate. As the night wore on, the tension eased into a quiet, shared exhaustion. Wrapped in firm embraces, they held each other tightly as sleep finally claimed them, the night drifting into silence, save for the sound of their
Ram fell asleep in his chair while still lying in the same posture with rops around him.
The morning sun crept through the window, casting a golden light across the room. The pair lay entwined beneath the duvet, sound asleep. Rajeev was the first to stir, his eyes fluttering open. A soft grin spread across his face as he turned to see the beautiful girl nestled in his arms, her chest rising and falling in peaceful slumber. He leaned in carefully, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"Good morning, my love," he whispered softly.
The warmth of his lips stirred Gowthami from sleep. Her eyes fluttered open, and she was greeted by Rajeev's captivating gaze, full of tenderness. A smile played on her lips as she replied, "Good morning."
She blinked, her gaze drifting downward to Rajeev's bare chest, his well-defined muscles catching the soft light. It was then that the memory of the previous night came rushing back. Her eyes widened slightly as she realized she too was naked beneath the duvet. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, embarrassment flooding through her as the events of the night replayed in her mind.
Rajeev, noticing her sudden shyness, smiled even wider. His hand reached out to gently cup her face, brushing his thumb against her cheek. Her blush only deepened as he leaned in slowly, about to plant a tender kiss on her bashful lips.
But just as their faces drew near, a loud banging echoed through the room, followed by Abhi's angry voice shouting from the other side of the door.
" Rajeev! Open up!"
The spell of the morning was broken. Rajeev froze, his body tensing at the sound of Abhi's furious voice. Gowthami's heart skipped a beat, her blush deepening for an entirely different reason now.
"I knew you were in, Rajeev, so unlocked the door. "
Gowthami and Rajeev swapped glances, and it was obvious that terror was on their faces.
