Trinity, a planet in a system quite close to ours, on one of its largest continents, Centaria, the king's eldest son has challenged him for the throne. Adhering to their tradition, one must die and the old one was the one to do so, thus making the eldest son the new king. For his first act as king, he announces that he plans to purge the planet of demons, gods, and their kin. Our story starts on the outskirts of a small town near the southern shore of Centaria. A young werewolf sleeps inside a small farming shed.
He launches up as the shock of a tiny yellow spider jolts him awake. The small thing scurries off as he moves. He attempts to close his eyes and go back to sleep but almost immediately they shoot back open as the sounds of large animals stop outside. He growled and punched a hole into a box beside him with his left fist. He swiftly yanked his hand out of the box as blood dripped from it due to the contents of the box. He looked inside to see a shattered sword. He looked back at his hand, wrapped a cloth around it, and then grabbed the sword and walked to the door.
As he opened the door he could see five giants in full sets of black armor carrying swords. He noticed that their swords were made of a white metal, silver most likely. They were a bit bigger than him, and their choice of mount was interesting. They all were riding a large lizard-like creature known as a genshura, they had gray scales, green patterns ran down their backs, and their eyes were red. They were obviously here for him.
"Whatever you're selling, I'm not buying!" He said, still concealed in the darkness behind the door.
He could see that it was still dark so they most likely were trying to keep the rest of the town out of this. "We know who you are, demon. The owner of this farm saw you go into that shed this morning and has been watching you since, said you took one of his Zefrons. Now we are here to take you, so either you come out without a fight, or we will have to use our new toys," The middle hunter said while spinning his blade in his hand. From the looks of it, he was the leader. "Yea, yea, yea, let's just do this already," he growled as he opened the door and walked outside with sword in hand.
The moons shone down on the small field, he felt 6 pairs of eyes watching him, and looking towards the farmhouse, he could see the owner of this land, a large smirk on his face. The moons in the sky, both almost full, The bigger one red, and the smaller blue, The light seemed to reflect off his hair and made his ruby-red eyes all the more eerie. He wore a plain white shirt, and a pair of sweatpants, and had a pair of black socks on. The hunter scoffed at him. "What, ain't got no shoes?" He said. "Yea, yea, I get that a lot, let's just get this started." He said as he stepped forward. "Agreed. ATTACK!" The hunter yelled.
The two giants closest to him commanded their genshuras to speed toward him, he responded by jumping toward one of them and knocking him off his mount, he grunted as he tumbled to the ground. the lizard hissed before leaping at him, and he responded by turning around and driving his blade into its head, It writhed for a second before falling, and the other four hissed at the loss of their kin. As he removed the blade from its skull he quickly turned around to block the swing of the dismounted giant, this specific giant was only a bit under twice his size, making him the biggest one in this group, he backstepped and the giant stumbled for a second.
He could see that the other genshuras were panicking and trying to get away, and the lead hunter was trying to get the other three giants to calm them down. He watched them all carefully as he continued to fight the one, the giant continued to lock with him and try to overpower him, but he continued to maneuver his way out of it. Suddenly the lead hunter, tired of dealing with the other giants and their mounts, charged him. He swung his sword down where the Lycan was. The bigger Giant backed off temporarily to catch his breath.
"Nice miss dimwad." The Lycan said mockingly. "Don't you ever just shu-" the hunter was cut off by the Lycan swinging his own damaged weapon at him, which he blocked with his arm. As soon as the sword hit the armor on his arm, the Lycan shook as the sword Vibrated violently and shook his whole body, disorienting him. "As the royal knight Cliff, I shall not take such HEINOUS TAUNTING FROM A DEMON!!" He yelled as he held his sword up high, the Lycan managed to dodge out of the way right as his sword came down, as soon as it made contact with the ground, a bolt of lightning disintegrated the grass and dirt where it hit. The Lycan looked surprised, caught off guard by the Hunters' sudden use of magic.
He could see smoke coming from the spot where the sword had hit. The hunter then dropped the sword and the Lycan realized that the sword was starting to crumble. "Not sure about you but I think y'all need to get your swords checked, I don't think they're lightning resistant." Cliff suddenly threw a punch at the Lycan, his anger obvious. "Sir, might we finish him for you?" The biggest giant asked. "Yes." Cliff said to him, and then he backed away as two giants walked towards the Lycan. The other two were still calming down the Gensuras. The new challenger was the smallest one in the group, but that just meant he would be more agile. The Lycan watched carefully as the smaller giant charged him, the bigger of the two waiting for an opening.
The Lycan clashed swords with the giant, the silver sword being dented by every swing, the Lycans steel. Then after the 16th swing, the silver sword shattered into pieces. The giant looked confused "WHA-" he didn't have a chance to finish before the Lycan grabbed his arm and swung him to the ground. He stopped and hoped backwards as the larger giant tried to grab him. "Woah, chill!" The Lycan yelped as the giant started swinging his sword wildly. "Do y'all not learn?" He said.
He then saw an opening, the giant held his sword high, about to swing down. He jumped to the side as the sword came down on the spot he was just standing, and then kicked at the giant's leg, toppling the behemoth. While he mostly was out of the way of the giant as he fell, the tip of the giant's sword nicked his left arm, he fell to the ground clutching his arm as it went limp.
"DAMNIT!" He yelled as he punched the ground with his remaining fist, "WHY'S IT ALWAYS THE LEFT ARM!" He examined the cut as the giant attempted to get back up, gray spirals twisted from the cut and down to his elbow. As the giant stood up and looked toward his fellow hunters. The genshuras were now tied to a tree, and they now knew that they were incapable of battle, they were not fully trained. As the other giants came back and surrounded him, he stood back up. His arm was gonna be paralyzed for at least another 15 minutes. "HAHAHA, You're all out of options, Werewolf. Either you come with us, or you die." Cliff said, in the same mocking tone that the Lycan had just a few moments before..
"This is why I hate giants. Why don't you just leave me alone and do something with your lives." He said. "SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND JUST DIE!" Cliff yelled as he swung his sword down. Without any warning, all five giants were knocked back by a blast of force. "IT'S MY TURN!" The werewolf yelled as black fur started growing across his entire body, he groaned as all the bones in his body changed and rearranged themselves, he held his left arm as it flared in pain. A pair of extra arms burst from his sides under his original set. His eyes glow brighter and slit as the sclera in his eyes turned black. His ears moved upward and grew into wolf ears and he grew a large bushy tail. He had increased in size and was now the same size as the smallest giant.
A low growl emitted from his throat as the giants stood back up. "Your wolf form doesn't scare us, You're just as weak to silver as you were before, and you're crippled already," Cliff said, A grin formed on the werewolf's face as he lifted his three remaining arms. "Sir, what's he doing?" One of the other giants
asked, getting a bit uneasy due to a growing feeling of pressure in the air. "I don't know," Cliff replied. Suddenly balls of flame burst from thin air in the werewolf's hands. "WHAT THE- FIRE MAGIC, IMPOSSIBLE, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT!" Cliff gasped as he stepped back. Three of the other giants followed, and the big guy instead charged toward him. The werewolf dodged a swing of his sword and then threw the three balls of flame at him. Upon contact the balls burst into small explosions, destroying the giant's armor but not quite knocking him away yet, His sword was launched away though
The two of them charged at each other again and started punching the daylights out of each other. Suddenly, the wolf caught and bit down on the giant's arm. He then knocked him clean off his feet, then picked up the giant and threw him at the shed, destroying it and making sure he would not be getting back up any time soon. He heard the land owner yell in frustration.
The werewolf turned around and froze. In the distance, he could see around six more genshuras with riders wearing similar armor with a more diverse set of weaponry. He couldn't tell if it was all silver, but he didn't want to find out. He picked up the shattered sword that he dropped when he shifted and bolted in the opposite direction.
"IDIOTS, HELP ME GET HIM OUT OF THE SHED!" Cliff yelled to the other three hunters. The werewolf continued to run, he looked back to see that the riders that he saw were now giving chase and were gaining on him. He growled as he noticed something. To his right, he could see dark clouds that seemed to stretch endlessly. He skidded to a stop and then ran for them. If he was correct in his assumption, then he was heading straight for the Greyclaw Forest. Sure enough, he crossed over a large hill and could see the tree line. He made a beeline for it, and as he entered it he turned to see all the lizards stop as soon as they crossed the hill, apparently opposed to entering the Forest.
He noticed he could move his left arm a tiny bit, though it still hurt. 'This is gonna hurt' he thought. He took a deep breath and then started shifting back to his regular form. He collapsed as the pain set in. His legs felt like they were gonna fall off from all the running, which the silver made worse. As he stood up, he leaned on the side of a tree as he looked out toward the hunters, the Cliff and two of the others in the original group suddenly came over the hill. "HAHAHA" *cough* *cough* "Remember this as the time you almost got me, the great
Lýkos!" He yelled as he turned around and limped into the forest.
He sat down inside a hollowed-out tree. When he shifted, his shirt and socks tore apart, so now he was gonna have to worry about that later, though his sweatpants survived. He pulled the legs of his sweatpants up and looked at his legs, he started to heal them with his magic. A side effect of shifting forms while under the effects of silver is a reduction of his pain tolerance and can sometimes cause the shifting to be incomplete.
When he shifted forms his legs were broken and changed into wolf legs, and when he shifted back to his regular form, it caused it to be incomplete due to the silver. As he healed his right leg, he winced as the bone in his leg shifted and healed. He could now move his left arm completely and stretched it as it did not hurt as much anymore, he healed his left leg and then examined his arm again. The spirals had disappeared meaning the effects of the silver on the cut had stopped, he could now heal the cut. He then leaned against the wall and drifted off to sleep.

In a giant roundish cube sitting close to Earth's orbit. The leader of the Soulpire stands on the edge of the ship bay looking out at the golden city below them. Two droids stood guard nearby.
He wore a purple helmet hiding his features, though it could still be observed that he had a fox-like head. Two glowing red dots flicked back and forth in the eye sockets of the mask, he wore a long black cloak with a purple trim from his neck down concealing his body. Two black spikes protruded from both of his shoulders. His head lifted and his ears shifted to the side. "Silver, what is the purpose of your silence? You're normally the loudest person on the soul stealer." He questioned as the white robotic wolf seemed to appear behind him. Both the droids jumped, they had not seen him come in.
Silver's form currently had paws that made him almost silent, the tips of his claws and ears all gleamed a neon green. His muzzle was a dark gray while the rest of his smooth metal body was white, excluding a black spot on the center of his chest with the Soulpire emblem. His two green eyes glow brightly. He looked at one of the two guards sitting nearby. He huffed. "OUT!" He yelled at them, the two droids yelped and dashed outside of the room. He turned back to the purple fox, and he turned around as well. Silver suddenly knelt.
"Lord Sparks, I request a couple of days off duty, I have some business I wish to deal with, and I also request for Viper Trooper-207440 to accompany me." A large droid with a snake-like lower half suddenly peaked his head into the room. "Yelling at the droids was unnecessary," Lord Sparks said as he looked at him. ". . ." Silver nodded while still looking at the ground. Lord Sparks turned to the Viper trooper who slithered into the room. He was smaller than most of the younger versions of his design. "You're the prototype who destroyed a whole Ant base by yourself, yes?" Lord Sparks asked. The viper trooper nodded. "You have a week, then I need you back here to defend the core. I accept your request to take the viper trooper as well, though I'll have a separate mission for them when you get back. Don't take advantage of my generosity, or I will unnecessarily kick your ass," Lord Sparks said as he turned around.
Silver stood up and looked at the door, the two droids peaked back inside. "You can return to your posts," he said as he turned to the opening in the side of the soul stealer. He grinned as he bolted toward it and jumped followed by the viper trooper. As he fell his metal tail suddenly started to melt, it seemed to creep up to his back where two wings formed. "HAHAHAHA!" He laughed as his wings opened and he flew upwards and did a somersault a couple hundred feet from the bay door. Rectangular gliders released from inside the viper trooper's back as he glided to the ground. Silver then dived straight down toward a ship that was parked in the Soulpirian base under the star. "Lord Sparks, I would like wings!" "Me-e T-two-o!" the two droids said as they watched silver disappear. Lord Sparks rolled his eyes and turned toward the door leading deeper into the Soul Stealer. "I need to go get your voice box fixed," he said as he walked past the second droid. He walked away and left the two droids to speak about wings, now that they started they would be at it for hours.
End of prologue.
