Chapter one:
Wanda arrives at HQ still learning the extent of her powers and trying to find her way in the world without Vision and still racked with guilt regarding the town of Westview.
"I could totally take Captain America in a fight." Said Sam Wilson.
"Yeah cause the dude is like a hundred years old. What's he going to do hit you with his waking stick?" Replied Bucky Barnes.
"Nothing has changed." Wanda thought to herself. "Hey guys, I hope that I haven't interrupted anything important." Said Wanda Maximoff.
Sam Wilson busted out laughing as Bucky rolled his eyes. "The new recruit's are here and are ready to go." Said Bucky Barnes.
Wanda then followed Sam Wilson and Bucky into the training facilities. Stood in front of her was a few familiar faces as well as a few new ones. Peter Parker's face then lit up. "Hi Wanda do you remember me I was there when we defeated Thanos and came back from the snap." Said Peter Parker.
Behind her she could hear Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson mimicking him. "Hi Peter, I hope they haven't been too mean to you. Don't worry your not alone." Replied Wanda. Next to him stood someone that Wanda was bittersweet to see. You could tell they were both awkward about it and just smiled. Wanda had asked for Monica Rambeau to be involved even though she had not seen her since the day she said goodbye to her Sitcom life and safe haven.
"And this is our final recruit Travis LaRowe aka Scarlet WarIock. His powers include red chaos magic and super speed. I thought Pietro was fast but this guy is seriously impressive." Said Sam Wilson.
Wanda then nodded in my direction and I smiled back. I could see a twinge of sadness in her eyes. Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes had given us an explanation of our trainer's would be and their histories we were specifically told not to say three things. Vision, Westview, or the Darkhold.
"Ok so our plan for this week is to work out the extent of your abilities. Then we will focus on controlling them and improving them if we can." Said Sam Wilson.
"Sam and I will show you all to your rooms then be ready for lunch at 12. We begin training at 1:30. Don't be late." Replied Bucky Barnes.
One by one they showed us to our rooms. All the rooms are next to each other even Wanda. I guess it will be nice to get to know them but I have no idea what the Avengers like to talk about.
I throw my back on the bed and began to unpack. It was 11:50 when I figured out where everything was in my room and how it all worked out so I decided to head to lunch early. I leave my room and lock the door. I then walked around for a little bit realizing that I had gotten lost I then walked around the hall pacing up and down when I turned around and bumped straight into .
"I'm sorry. I'm an idiot." I blurted out rapidly shock that I would make such a fool of myself in front of the most stunning girl I have ever seen. She had long auburn hair with the most beautiful piercing green eyes. I was in complete awe with my straight panic soaring through the roof. Why are you acting like a twelve year old with a crush pull your self together your in your mid twenties. I shake myself into awareness and continue to apologize.
"Hey it's okay. It was a accident. They were right you are fast. I never saw you coming." Replied Wanda. Oh no I forgot I speed pace whenever I panic. She must think that I am crazy. Wanda then led me to the lunch room.
"11;59. Just in time." Said Sam Wilson. I then sat down next to Wanda and introduced myself to Monica Rambeau and Peter Parker trying to get to know them. I then noticed that Wanda was being quiet maybe that's just how she is.
"Who started the party without me?" I heard a male voice. I then turned around to see Thor standing behind me.
He then sat down on the other side next to Wanda talking to all of us and was intrigued to see our power's. He also seemed to have made Wanda laugh which made me smile. I just can't work her out. After a good hour or so of talking. We all leave the table and head to the training room.
"Are you ready?" Said Wanda Maximoff.
"As I'll ever be." I replied to her question.
