THE NEXT DAY
The Octavier's gathered for breakfast at the dinning table. They were all eating happily when Mrs Octavier told them the shocking news.
"What do you mean we're leaving Transylvania mom?" Danielle asked.
"Don't tell me you're trying to keep her away from the Alpha" Raymond whispered to his mom.
"We don't have any other choice son. I can't let that beast take my precious jewel away from me" Mrs Octavier cried.
"What are you guys whispering about uhn?" Diane asked.
"Nothing dear, we'll be leaving by tonight okay" Mrs Octavier said.
"But mum,.... Dad please, convince mom. I don't wanna to go dad" Danielle cried.
"Why are you crying Danielle? It's not like we'll be gone forever, right mom? Diane said.
"I'm afraid not my dear, we're never coming back" Mrs Octavier said.
"But why? I really don't wanna leave forever" Diane cried.
"It's for your own good dear" Mr Octavier said.
Diane got down from her seat and was heading to her room while crying when she suddenly fainted and the lights started flickering and before any of them could get to her, a bright light shone around her and her soul left her body and then the lights stopped flickering and everything was back to normal, well, except Diane.
"MY BABY!!" Mrs Octavier yelled and she fell to the ground in tears.
"I think I know who is doing this" Mr Octavier said in anger.
"Where am I? Diane asked no one in particular after waking up in a strange but luxuriously furnished room.
"You're where you are meant to be my dear" a man in a black suit replied.
"Who are you?" Diane asked because the man's face was hidden behind a mask.
"Why not come over and take off the mask my dear little kitten" the man suggested.
Diane hesitated at first because he was a stranger but she suddenly felt really safe being around him. Then she stood on the bed and tiptoed a bit due to how short she was compared to the tall man in front of her. She proceeded to take off the mask but was dumbfounded afterwards.
" You like what you see?" The man teased her seeing the shocked look she wore on her face.
"Are you a demigod or something?" Diane asked.
"No, my little kitten" the man replied.
"How about we do a little introduction" the man suggested.
"Okay. You go first handsome sir" Diane said smiling sheepishly.
"How cute" the man chuckled. "But I'll like you to go first my little kitten" the man added.
"Okay. I'm Diane Octavier and I'm 10 years old. Your turn" Diane said.
"I'm Damian. I'm 20 years old and you my little kitten are my mate" Diane said.
"Mate??? What do you mean mate? I'm just 10 so how could I possibly be your mate?" Diane asked laughing.
Damian chuckled. "Look under your right foot" Damian said.
Diane did as instructed and to her surprise she saw something that looks like a tattoo beneath her right foot. A tattoo of a wolf. It was his wolf.
"How did that get there?" Diane inquired.
"You'll find out soon. I want to show you something but you have to promise you won't freak out or get scared okay" Damian said.
"I'm a brave girl and I never get scared" Diane boasted.
Damian chuckled at her behaviour and then closed his eyes. Diane stood anticipating something scary but what happened next made her blush so hard that her face turned red immediately. Within the twinkle of an eye, Damian was now a werewolf. A really cute wolf. Diane couldn't stop herself from blushing at the cuteness of Jeremy, Damian's wolf. She moved forward and began to pat his furry back. Jeremy seemed to enjoy this gesture very much.
Damian then took control and turned back to his normal self.
"I thought you were a vampire, how come you can also turn into a wolf? Diane asked.
"That's because I'm special. I'm an hybrid ( a wolf and a vampire ) and a demon. A dehybrid" Damian explained.
"But how's that possible?" Diane asked.
"Haven't you heard the story of the Brutal Alpha of Transylvania?" Damian asked.
"I have" Diane answered.
"Well, I'm that brutal Alpha. Alpha Damian of Transylvania,the brutal leader of the Dark Knights" Damian said.
"You mean you're the beast?" Diane asked surprised.
"Do I look like a beast?" Damian asked.
"Of course not. You're a really cute wolf" Diane admitted cutely.
"You're also a really cute mate" Damian said.
"Now that I think about it, I think I believe you. Your wolf looks exactly like the one beneath my right feet" Diane said.
"Not only my wolf, Jeremy but my vampire, Adrian looks like the one beneath your left foot and my demon, Ash looks like the one on your chest. I always knew my mate would be special but I didn't expect her to be so smart and cute also" Damian said.
"Awwn thanks. I never knew I had tattoos on my body" Diane said.
"It's not your fault my little kitten. Your parents hid it from us both since you were born" Damian said.
"I'll send you back to your parents now. Make sure to ask them why they hid it from you" he added
"Why don't you tell me?" Diane said.
"It's better you hear it from the horse's mouth" Damian said.
"Does it also mean that you're reasonable for making me fall unconscious?" Diane asked.
"You're mistaken my little kitten. I'm not responsible for that. Even I don't know what caused you to fall unconscious. I think it has to do with the mate bond" Damian said.
"There's something you must know before you go back" Damian added.
"What's that?" Diane asking standing akimbo.
"You mustn't leave Transylvania until I've marked you as mine" Damian said.
"But why?" Diane asked.
"If we are too far apart from each other, I won't be able to sense it if you're in danger and you may end up dying. I think my enemies found out that I've found my mate.You might have died today if I hadn't come to take you" Damian said.
"Thanks for saving my life handsome sir but you have to come meet my parents before tonight because they are planning on going to stay in another country forever. I really don't wanna leave here and I also don't want to die" Diane said amidst tears.
"You don't have to worry my little kitten. I won't let anything happen to you. By the way, you can call me Damian" Damian said.
"I better not" Diane said rasing her hands up as if surrendering to something.
"Why is that?" Damian asked and chuckled.
"My brother said we villagers aren't meant to say your name unless we'll die a really strange and painful death" Diane said truthfully.
"You're not a villager my dear little kitten, you're my mate. Do you think I would do anything to harm you?" Damian said.
"No" Diane said
"In that case, you can call me Diane and not little kitten" Diane said innocently.
"No little kitten. You are as small and cute as a little kitten to me that's why I call you my dear little kitten" Damian explained.
"You must go back to your parents now" Damian added.
"Okay. Bye Damian" Diane said and gave him a peck on his cheeks.
Damian was shocked by what she did and he suddenly felt a mix of emotions. It was the first time he ever got so close to someone other than his mom. Jeremy, Adrian and Ash were also happy about what just happened.
Diane waved at Damian before she finally disappeared leaving him alone with his thoughts in the huge room.
