Isabella put the trash in front of the door. "That's right. So, thank you for your concern. Hurry up and get some rest." With that, she slammed the door shut, not revealing who she was angry with.
Ethan knew she was in a bad mood and didn't want to provoke her further. He turned around and went back to his room to rest.
Early the next morning, Isabella walked out briskly and glanced at the room opposite hers before walking over. "Knock, knock, knock."
Ethan, sitting on the sofa, smiled and raised his hand to check the time. It wasn't far off from what he expected.
