"Happiness, don't overthink things," Alexander said. "Go rest and prepare for tomorrow's interview."
"I smell blood in the wind," Damian suddenly said. He stood up, left the table, and opened a crack in the living room window. Now, everyone except Happiness could smell the blood.
Eliot identified the scent in the snow-filled wind and frowned, saying, "This is Abyssyus's scent."
Without a word, Damian opened the door and ran out. Bern and Art followed closely behind. Alexander told Happiness and Lu to stay inside the house while he went out of the yard.
Happiness was lying on the windowsill, trying hard to see the things outside. The snow was flying in the sky, stirred up by the northern wind. The sound of the wind was piercing, faintly carrying some kind of ominous feeling.
It wasn't until several figures approached that Happiness saw them. Ben rushed to open the door, and Happiness looked in horror as Lionel carried the bloody Abyssyus and jumped in. Damian, Alexander, and Eliot entered one after another, and then closed the door.
Abyssyus was placed on the sofa in the living room. His handsome face was pale, his hands were limp, and his eyebrows were frozen with ice and snow.
Is Abyssyus dead? Happiness didn't even dare to approach and take a look, afraid that someone would announce his death.

Happiness sat at her desk in her room. All the lights in her room were turned on, making it as bright as daylight. The heater was turned up to the highest level. Ino was placed on her bed. Lionel was taking his temperature, and Eliot was tearing open his torn and blood-stained clothes.
The two doctors immediately took over from Lionel. Their abilities in the industry were considered top-notch. Lanze had a blood relationship with Abyssyus, so he was more anxious about Abyssyus's injuries than the other beasts.
"How did he get injured?" one of the doctors asked with a serious expression as he examined Abyssyus's wounds.
"We encountered an ancient species. Originally, he only had some superficial injuries, but he bled excessively, and his bleeding rate was unusually fast. I thought it was because of the cold weather, but after the bleeding stopped, he quickly deteriorated!" Lionel said.
Fran stood by the bed, looking at the patient in silence. The doctor lightly cut open the skin on Lionel's waist, which was already swollen and shiny. He had intended to take some tissue fluid to see if the patient was poisoned, but as the blade cut through the wound, everyone present was shocked! A strong stench spread in the air. This smell was familiar to them. It was the foul smell of a low-level ancient species, no different from this one!

Happiness said, and the two doctors and Fran immediately focused on her, listening to her say, "After I was captured, they took bone marrow and blood samples from me. Just at this moment, Alexander suddenly collapsed in front of Happiness, and his tall body fell heavily to the ground. Damian took a step forward, picked up Alexander's sleeve, and saw a bandaged wound on his arm. She suddenly started struggling in Eliot's embrace, desperately throwing herself to the ground. She felt like her entire mind had detached from her body, and could only feel the piercing pain.
