ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a princess named Kateanaria Blakely Pendragon, 15 years of age and has the title of princess of the Royal family of Zayeania, everybody knew her, they call her "The Princess of Zayeania". Her eyes were innocent, fragile, and carefree. The only princess of the royal family, the Only Daughter.
She has black hair, pale skin, and red lips like an apple.
Her Father's name is King Frederick Pendragon, 43 years old. A kindhearted king whom the people love, he helps the people of his kingdom, he cares for his children and loves spending time with his family. Her Mother's name is Queen Katelyn Anne Swan-Pendragon, 37 years of age. A loving but strict mother, she helps the maids in the palace, and also cares for her Oldest and Youngest Sons and She's only strict sometimes with her only daughter, Princess Kateanaria but she still cares for her. The most kind and also loves to tease his siblings, Her Oldest Brother named Karlheinz Erick Pendragon, 18 years old, The Crown Prince. He has a fiancé, his fiancé's name is Duchess Sharon Clarisse Williams age of 19 years old. The Crown Prince loves spending time with his loving sister and younger brother sometimes, he is the next in line of the throne. The silly and young prince of the Zayeania Kingdom, Kateanaria's Youngest Brother named Kennedy Jerick Vince Pendragon age of 13 years old, He likes to play pranks and also likes playing by himself sometimes.
The Princess Kateanaria's personal maid was running in the halls and was rushing this morning. She went to the princess's room and knocked many times until she heard the princess coming over.
"Princess! The professor is waiting for you at the library. You must go now, and what are you wearing?" her maid said. she was raise her eyebrow as she look at the princess.
"Hm? My commoner's dress! Isn't it gorgeous?"
"Seriously? you are wearing commoner's clothes it doesnt suit you. You supposed to wearing a gown, princess!" The maid goes to the closet and chose for a dress for the princess.
"But just for taking a walk outside at the castle, please I beg you, I won't be getting any trouble just for once Mary, I promised. just once."
"For the last time princess, you were getting trouble many times in the palace, plus you were going outside, you were getting bruises on your knees, and you were collecting lizards to putting someone's guest in the castle." The maid said again.
The last time kateanaria was pranking someone in the castle, especially her mom's guest, that's why she was always scolded her many times. No wonder she teach her little brother some prank stuff of her.
"I will never do it again, but please don't tell mom about this, I swear I'll back. no more getting bruises, but except for collecting insects." Kateanaria wink at her and she continue preparing her bag for to go outside.
The maid sigh and shook her head.
"What about your lesson today? A new topic!" She was stressing herself.
The princess was facing at the mirror to fixed her hair.
"There's nothing new Mary, it still repeating the lesson and I know all of the topics yesterday and I'm not expecting for this new topic. but please, can you just let me go outside not telling mom? you're the only one that I trust the most." The princess look at the maid with puppy eyes.
She was the same age as her, they were very close, and the princess treated her like her own sister. even now, they never changed at all.
" The fact that you were grounded for months for being a mess at the castle." She was continued at the closet finding me to supposed to wear.
" The Queen never cared for me either anyways, she only cares 'bout my brothers and cousins. I'm the one who's left behind Mary, never allowed me to go attend the ball of the season, and horse riding. because I am a 'Princess' for nothing. " The princess said it again.
The maid stops, looks at the princess and she gets close to her and comforts her.
"Your highness, don't say that. Your Mother loves you no matter what, that's because she was protecting you and your safety princess the majesty just worried... you see, about 14 years ago—" The Personal stopped talking and she covered her mouth.
The princess confused "What happened 14 years ago?" The princess heard the maid.
The personal maid can't say to the princess, she doesn't know how to explain to her what happened 14 years ago. She took a deep breath and she relaxed herself first.
" Well princess, about that I must be mistaken for the conversation, please you should forget that okay? but anyway, don't go too far there's a very strange person in the woods far from here in the kingdom, just remember what I said, princess. It's for your own safety." She seriously said it.
"Ah.. Great!" She pushed Mary to get out of her room "I'll be going to the library soon and I can manage myself to get dressed Mary. Haha" She lied.
" Are you sure your highness?" Mary confused face.
"Yes, as for the princess ordered you to leave. You may go now."The princess said.
"Yes, your highness."She said and bowed to her before she left.
As the maid was gone, she quickly continued to pack her needs to go outside. The princess doesn't like someone to guide her, especially when Mary is around. She is preparing her notes and a jar for collecting her insects.
Her mother can't allow her to go outside at the palace, but she was planning to find a way out of the castle.
Later, the princess going outside of the castle, she has a short cut to find a way out. She was wearing a hood that the guards did not notice her. And finally she was at the outside of the kingdom all by herself alone in the forest searching for unique creatures that she collects in her book. The King and Queen never knew that the princess was cutting lessons today.
Meanwhile after she walks around in the forest, her shoes are dirty and covered with mud while walking, she's always writing notes and she doesn't know where she goes.
" I wonder if this is also part of Zayeania kingdom zone is it?" She was looking around but all she could see was green.
"Well nevermind its fun anyways" The Princess happily walking around.
The Princess keeps walking around in the woods she only uses the compass as her guide to her direction. Until she saw a beautiful butterfly land to a big boulder, she was amazed at how beautiful it was, when she caught the butterfly with her hands, the butterfly glowed and the princess stared at it, how pretty the color navy blue of the butterfly wings. While it turns even more brighter she thinks the butterfly was about gonna explode and she puts it down the butterfly, and it turns out a little fuggy scenery, the butterfly turn into an old witch, a dirty, stinky witch, holding a wooden staff that glows green, and her eyes glow red. The princess was so scared of the witch.
" Who are you..." She was trembling.
The witch starts to laugh. "I am the witch of the woods, Princess Kateanaria Blakely Pendragon."
The witch knows her name, the princess was shocked that she knows her name.
" How did you know my name...? " The Princess stuttered and froze at how scary the old lady was.
" I know everything about the Zayeana Kingdom Princess I lived there once since your father the king banished me at the Zayeana!" She angrily said "And I knew you since the day you were born. " She laughed again.
The Princess was shocked at what the witch of the woods said.
"Please, spare me... I'm sorry for what my dad did to you but please spare my life I have future to take." The princess begged for her to spare her life.
" You want to hear a story? The day you were born, I pretend to be your nanny. All I wanted was the powerful golden hair of yours, but now its a common black color, I was about to kill and kidnapped you, but your father caught me. He ordered to banish me of the Zayeana kingdom forever, but now I met you here. I have a special gift for you, princess. " She laugh and her magic staff glow lighter.
The Princess scream and covered herself.
She was cursed by a witch in the woods, the princess began to have heartache and the curse given to her was trying not to break her heart. Once she breaks her own heart it might cause a lot of pain. The princess get dizzy, felt so weak and her vision was blurry.
"Why...you did this to me..." The Princess said. She feels so weak.
"I hate you from the beginning you know. Oh well, I give you a chance to live, but in one condition. You will be cured, and then you can find your true love and break the curse. If someone hurts you, you're no longer in this world." The witch laughed and disappeared
The Princess worried so much and hurt, and she didn't want to tell her parents about her condition.
Princess Katanaria going back to the kingdom. When the princess returned to the palace, she went straight to her room, and no one could see her. Later, she washed her body and saw herself in the mirror, her chest was black and pointed at her heart. Her eyes widen, and she was scared, crashing the mirror by throwing her hairbrush. The Princess lay down and cried. she remembered all her doings were wrong and disappointment of the family. She regretted her mother's warning that she can't go outside because she is a Princess. She blames herself.
She never stop crying and wipe her tears.
At dinner time, they ate quietly, the three of them eating at the dinner table, the two princes came at late, the Oldest Son was traveling to another country while the youngest son was teaching some fencing and doing his lesson. The Princess only attends the dinner, but her father noticed her eyes were red.
"What happened to your eyes Aria? Are you crying?" Her father said.
She was faking coughing " It's just aah.. when I was taking a bath and the soap bubbles was on my eyes. haha" She fakes her laugh and she continued eating.
" Oh, You must be tired early in your lessons, finish your food and you may go rest."he king said.
" Yes, Father."
Princess Kateanaria's mother finds her suspicious or hides something, she begins questioning her daughter.
"Kate, I heard that your instructor is waiting for you at the library about few hours that you weren't attend your lesson." Her mother said strictly to her. "I disappointed on you, Kate. Act like a lady. Stop doing childish stuff." She continued.
"Anne, don't force her too much." Her father said.
"You spoiled her too much dear, she's a princess."
The Princess went down to herself and she didn't hear them while arguing at the table.
"You are grounded. As a start for now you're locked up forever in your room." The queen continued.
"but mo--" she didn't want the princess to talk back.
"don't talk back young lady." She angrily said.
"Fine." I was stand up and leave their sights. I was straight to my room.
The queen was about to follow her but the king stopped his wife. "Give her some time." He sweetly smiles at his wife to keep her calming herself first.
The princess overthink everything that what happen earlier, she doesn't know how to handle the burden she carrying for.
She wearing a her pajamas now, she overthink and questioning herself. The Princess has an Idea, it's the only way to leave the palace tonight. she has no choice.
The princess is preparing her things that are really useful to her, and she's wearing a travel dress and wearing her favorite color black boots, The guards were walking around in the palace but she had a shortcut to find a way out. The King and Queen never knew that their daughter got cursed. The Princess never told anyone or her own best friend and her siblings. She ran away to the palace at midnight. Far, Far away from her family.
At the early morning the princess kateanaria's personal maid holding a tray that its about for morning breakfast for the princess when the maid go upstair and knock the door for three times but no one response and then when the maid open the door, the princess was gone, and she hurried and telling the majesties their daughter was gone. Princess Kateanaria's parents were very worried, The king ordered the guards to find the princess in the whole kingdom of the Zayeana. Mary found a letter and give to the King and Queen.
To: Father and Mother
I know you guys hate me, but I am writing this letter to tell you guys that I am now leaving far away from our kingdom. You guys don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine. Don't try to find me anywhere I go. I'm going to send you a letter every day if they can receive it there. And I'm going to be tough and stronger, and be a good daughter as well . I promise I'll be back as soon as I can. Goodbye, I love you.

The king's face was very sad. They're so worried if the princess was kidnapped or taken hostage by the bandits. The king felt hurt in his chest and fainted to the ground. The queen was very worried, and she panicked and screamed for help.
