"Aren't you happy to see me?" Asked Niharika in a happy manner.
"Is everything okay at home sis?" Asked Virat in a cautious manner.
"Everything is fine dear brother, everything is fine." Said Niharika in a very happy manner.
"But Niharika you hate Pune, so what made you leave Mumbai?" Asked Arnav eager to know.
Niharika enters the house and hugs both her brothers as she was very thrilled about her return.
"Brother Arnav, life has given me a second chance with the one that I love, a chance of becoming someone's wife has rose again, so I'm here to fight for that!" Replied Niharika.
"But Niha, your engagement was broken long ago and according to what mom told us, the guy hates you." Said Virat.
Niharika slaps Virat in anger and Said "Uddie doesn't hate me do you hear me, he loves me a lot!"
"He is still angry at the moment and he will come around, I know he will." Said Niharika in an obsessive manner.
"I must be the bearer of bad luck today, being slapped twice!" Said Virat with teary eyes.
"Maybe if you stay in your lane I won't have to slap you again." She said angrily.
She calms down and said "you didn't hear how he spoke to me yesterday, he wasn't enraged and he spoke to me with so much respect and was very calm, I'm telling you, he is in love with me, he just needs time and he will come back to me."
"Niharika you're wasting your energy on this guy, you should simple forget about him and find someone else." Arnav advised his younger sister.
"Be careful brother or the slap which you gave to me will be given to you." Virat warns his brother Arnav.
"I'll slap you once more Virat!" Replied Arnav enraged.
"Have you two been fighting?" Asked Niharika curiously.
"Vishaka! Come and take these in and prepare a room for Niharika!" Shouted Arnav.
"Brother you seem tense, what is the issue?" Asked Niharika curiously.
"The CSO is always the only reason for his tenseness." Said Virat.
"Chitra still exists? Brother, don't tell me that you're tense because of that conniving witch." Said Niharika.
"She is not a conniving witch, Chitra is my identity and I hope you'll respect that!" Said Arnav pointing his sister with finger in an angry manner.
"Brother she stood with that illegitimate child four years ago don't tell me that you have forgotten about it!" Said Niharika in an angry manner.
"Niharika Chitra is naive and she is unable to see bad in anyone, hence she stood with Rohan Adhikari because she is very kind hearted, it's her noble nature." Explained Arnav.
"Brother, Rohan almost took our inheritance, he somehow made father accept him inspite of being illegitimate and robbed him of his wealth." Said Virat.
"That was Rohan Adhikari's doing not Chitra, don't put Chitra where she doesn't belong." Replied Arnav.
"But brother Chitra stood with Rohan! She helped him, she even fought with you, all for Rohan, yet you're standing with her!" Shouted Niharika.
"And brother when did you start to have a soft spot for her, has she lured you?" Asked Niharika.
"Brother hasn't been lured, but Chitra is important for us right now hence he is still with her." Explained Virat.
"I don't care how important she Is, have you forgotten how mom used to go to bed crying because of dad's betrayal? Have you forgotten that mom got hospitalized in the process but your Chitra, she stood with Rohan Adhikari even then, she didn't even care about our mother at all!" Explained Niharika as tears were dropping down her face.
Arnav's tears started dropping down as well.
"Niharika I understand mom's anger even today, our father wasn't faithful to her, he has never loved her the way she deserves, mom even got hospitalized and dad, he didn't even care, he pretended." Arnav expressed his feelings.
"Brother, if we lose Chitra now, what about the luck?" Asked Virat.
"Chitra should simple go, I don't care what she is, I dont need her her!" Shouted Niharika.
Arnav hugs his younger sister and consoles her, they were both deeply hurt upon remembering this, Arnav memorises a moment of the past where his father hurt their mother a lot.
"Davinder you can't do this to me, you can't accept your illegitimate child, the society will mock me for this, my reputation will be ruined please take him away from here." Begged Ishita, Arnav's mother.
"But Ishita I can't just do that, I have decided, Rohan will take my place as the director of Kapoor holdings, I'm also signing over 30% of the business to him, I am also buying him a house a well." Said Davinder.
The entire family got shocked upon hearing this as it was as if their world was crambling down and nothing was left.
"Davinder that is my children's inheritance you can't give them to someone else, I cannot allow that to happen." Said Ishita very hurt.
"Father that was supposed to be my position so how can you give it to him after promising it to me?" Asked Arnav very hurt by his father's decision.
"Rohan deserves all of it and more, I wasn't there when he grew up hence I'm making up for it today." Explained Davinder.
"But dad what about us?" Asked Virat.
"You already have everything that you desire and you never lacked anything." Replied Davinder.
"Don't stand in the way of Rohan being accepted by his father, he too deserves to be a part of this family." Said Chitra justifying Davinder's act.
Upon hearing Chitra's words, Ishita fainted and they all run to her.
Arnav stopped memorizing.
"Tell me Brother, after what Chitra did to us in the past, do you still want to be with her? Knowing that she betrayed us by standing with Rohan and dad, and also caused mom's heart attack." Said Niharika crying.
"No Niha, after I acquire what I want from her I will get my revenge on Chitra for the pain she and dad caused us, she will definitely pay the prize for standing with those traitors." Said Arnav enraged.
"Yes you heard it right, Chitra's past betrayal will be avenged, that to dearly, she will wish she never knew us!" Said Virat enraged.
