Ross was taken aback. He indeed had important matters to deal with personally. However, he could not bring Yonah along when she was involved.
He only waited for her to fall asleep before he met his trusted associates to discuss his request to arrange a safe house for Yonah.
Ross had planned that after Dr. Joelle had examined Yonah and ran another set of lab tests, and he would transfer her to a manor where she would feel comfortable.
Yonah had grown tired of being hospitalized for two weeks. During her stay at Aurora City Medical Center, she constantly requested to visit the garden.
There is a spacious playground at the back of the hospital. However, no one should have seen her, as her family hired someone to pose as her, accompanying her parents back to San Francisco.
Therefore, Ross was cautious about keeping her hidden from the eyes of strangers unless she was in disguise. Even so, he would not risk her safety.
