Cyrus held his breath as Ariana pressed her lips on his kissing him eagerly, Cyrus didn't want to take advantage of her but his wolf was in control. He gripped the back of her neck as he deepened the kiss, Ariana moaned as Cyrus slipped his tongue into her mouth.
"She's right here why hesitate and just have her," Fenrir said pleasure had already clouded his mind but Cyrus was that inconsiderate.
"No I can't," Cyrus said breaking the kiss as Ariana leaned into his arms, it seemed like she had finally fallen asleep, he sat down and placed her on his lap, Ariana squirmed a bit as she snuggled closer to his chest as Cyrus could only sigh. He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear as he placed a kiss on her forehead, it lingered there for a while before he stood up.
The Next Day, Ariana blinked as she held her throbbing head in pain, she stood up and looked around.
"Where am I?" She asked as she noticed her luggage, she finally realised she was back in her room.
"Wasn't I drinking wine with Cyrus?, how did I end up here?" She thought as she stood up, her body hurt as she opened the curtains, she heard a knock on the door, and as she went to open it she saw Danielle leaning on the door frame with a smug look.
"What's that look for?" She asked Danielle who shrugged as she walked in, she sat on the bed and stared at Ariana.
"You got drunk yesterday and Cyrus dropped you off, but I didn't fail to notice the red lipstick on his lips and his rumbled shirt," Danielle said as Ariana's eyes widened for a short moment.
"What does that have to do with me?" Ariana Asked as Danielle just chuckled.
"Your lipgloss was messed up and the one on his lips is the exact shade and smell you use...so in conclusion you kissed him" Danielle said as Ariana scoffed
"That's impossible, he might have other girls he kisses out there I can't really kiss him and I barely know him" Ariana shrugged off the thought but deep down she knew she had kissed him and even called him 'Mr handsome', she blushed as Danielle shook her head.
"Yes ma'am and don't forget to have breakfast and come join Clara and me at the training ground," Danielle said as she stood up, Ariana nodded as Danielle walked out of the room. Ariana closed her eyes and saw a quick replay of what happened yesterday, she blushed as she thought of how Cyrus kissed her back.
"How am I supposed to work with him now" she groaned as. she stood up heading into the bathroom to freshen up.
She headed to the dining room, Clara and Danielle were already seated, she joined them as the maids started serving the food. She said a low good morning as Clara turned to glare at her.
"You have a boyfriend and you didn't tell me," Clara said as Ariana's face palmed.
"I don't have a boyfriend geez, I was just drunk and we kissed it's no big deal" she said getting annoyed by the topic.
"But...drop it Clara" Ariana interrupted her as she started eating not minding them.
"So what did Cyrus say about the construction?" Danielle asked as she thought about it for a while.
"Oh, he said I would have to stay at his place for a week or two till the construction is done" Ariana said as Danielle just smiled.
"And what was your response?, cause I know you're rude to people" Danielle said as Ariana just scoffed.
"I told him I'll think about it and that's when we started drinking" Ariana said as they nodded, they talked about pending matters as a maid ran in.
"Alpha Danielle, the lycan king is outside and is about to kill one of the guards," she said as they stood up.
"What? let's go" Danielle said, she knew Cyrus had a temper but she didn't know that it was this far gone. When they got to the front of the main pack house, Cyrus held a man by his neck as he lifted him when Danielle shouted.
"Cyrus, stop this madness" Cyrus glanced at her as he turned back to his prey he didn't want to let him go no one knew what the guy was capable of and he didn't want to cause his mate any trouble.
"Cyrus let him go" Ariana finally stepped forward as she tugged on his arm, her pleasant smell drifted into his nose but he was determined to kill this traitor.
"And who are you to tell me that, who gave you permission to touch me!" He yelled as she flinched withdrawing her hand, it hurt Fenrir to see his mate's sad face but Cyrus knew what he was doing.
"P-please spare me, I have a child and a wife to take care of" the man who was about to be killed cried out but Cyrus didn't care, there was somebody behind this guy and this was his only way to rid of him once and for.
"You didn't know that before you killed her did you?" Cyrus sneered as the man shuddered.
"I was sent to do it, I did it for the money please lycan king spare me" the man begged but Cyrus had enough with a snap the man's head rolled off his body as it landed in front of Ariana, Cyrus dropped the body wiping his hand with a piece of cloth as he threw it on the headless body.
"Ahhhhhhhh" Ariana's scream made everyone turn towards her, the head of the man was still gushing out blood as he stared straight at Ariana.
"Stop fucking screaming" Danielle said but Ariana covered her mouth as tears flowed out of her eyes.
Cyrus shook his head at how weak his mate was she was cute no doubt but it was just a mere head why make a big fuss, he wondered as he walked closer to her kicking the head away, he smiled at her but Ariana just raised her hand and slapped him right across the face. Everyone gasped as Cyrus gave remained unturned.
