Dahlia awoke late that morning, groaning slightly as the bandage on her back tugged uncomfortably at her skin. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she yawned and stretched her arms before slipping out of bed.
Nylie entered the chamber just then, bowing slightly as she announced, "The bath is ready, Your Highness. The royal physician will also be here shortly to examine your wounds."
Dahlia hummed in acknowledgment, rubbing her sore muscles. "Where's Sullivan?" she asked curiously, glancing toward the balcony.
"Outside, Your Highness," Nylie responded.
Satisfied, Dahlia began her morning routine, going through the motions efficiently. Once the royal physician checked her wounds and replaced the bandages, she dressed and made her way to see Sullivan.
