Chapter 27 - You bastard!

"Why? What wrong have I done this time?" Dahlia stepped up, keeping her furious gaze at him.

Sullivan left his seat, holding the cup in his hand. "Your existence bothers me. You show a fake care toward me. Do you think I've no idea what kind of woman you are? The poison you hold for me in your heart, everyone is aware of that, including me. So, stop annoying me," he said while gritting his teeth.

"I have no idea what my past self did to you? And I am already making amends for that. I am trying my best to help you, to make you feel known," Dahlia said.

'The author should be blamed. She is the one who wrote portrayed this character as vicious to Sullivan,' she thought in her mind.

"Get out of my sight," Sullivan said with disdain.

"No. I will keep bothering you," Dahlia said.

Sullivan held her arm tightly, and dragged her out of the room. He pushed her out and slammed the door at her place. Nylie witnessed all that and found Dahlia was banging her hand at the door.

"Your Highness, what happened?" Nylie asked as she rushed to her. "Why did the prince throw you out of the room?" she questioned.

"He has turned insane. I'm going to break this door, Sullivan. Do you think I'm that kind of wife, whom you can bully and she will shed some tears! No! Absolutely not! I know how to straighten men like you. You bastard, come out and face me!" Dahlia started cursing Sullivan, not caring for her use of language. He had awaken the lioness in her.

Nylie only stared at the princess in bewilderment.

Dahlia kicked at the door with her heel and hurt her foot. "Ahh! Ahh!" She started jumping at her place as tears formed on the edges of her eyes.

Sullivan, who was inside, was stunned when Dahlia cursed him. Some of those cursing words, he couldn't even understand. "What is she? How could she shout so loudly? My eardrums are hurting," he murmured with a frown. He gulped the remaining wine from the cup and set it on the table.

He then heard her cry and flinched for a second. However, he was adamant not to open the door for her.

Suddenly, an eerie silence spread. Sullivan heaved a sigh of relief, thinking Dahlia had gone. He leaned his head back on the recliner and closed his eyes to take some rest. He was feeling proud that he finally made a good use of Dahlia.

"I'll make sure you suffer hell with me and along with you, your dear lover also sees hell," Sullivan said, recalling about Daedric.

"Your Highness, why are we going to the military barracks? Don't you think if words will spread out about your husband, then they will start blaming you for choosing Prince Sullivan over the Crown Prince," Nylie said as she followed Dahlia.

"I don't care about people. I need to teach Sullivan a good lesson. He thinks that I'll be a crybaby and plead him to take me inside. I'll make sure he apologizes to me for what he did to me," Dahlia angrily announced.

'I am stuck in this world because of this bastard. And he is ready to throw me away like a potato sack. I'll make sure he will never act in such a way! I've never thought he would be this jerk,' she thought in her mind.

Devil Chibi appeared:

I warned you Dahlia not to trust this villain of the story. He is born to hurt others with his words. On the other hand, the Crown Prince is so lovely with you. I'm sure Sullivan created troubles for them. Because we entered here, a lot of things have changed in the story now. In my opinion, you should make sure Sullivan strips off his rank and then he will know his right place. He is nothing without you.

Angel Chibi appeared:

Dahlia, I think Sullivan thinks wrong about you because of his past equation with you. Why don't you try to understand his past? You need to find out first what have you... I mean the original soul of this body had done with Sullivan. He is caring no doubt. But he is mean too. You need to calm yourself down.

'Both of you leave. Teaching a lesson to my crush is important today,' she screamed inwardly.

Some soldiers were preparing to depart, while others were still immersed in their training exercises when they noticed the princess approaching.

Commander Harris spotted Princess Dahlia and frowned, his brows knitting together in concern. He observed that several soldiers were shirtless, clad only in their training pants as they went through their rigorous drills.

The sight of the princess in such a setting was unexpected, and he immediately sensed the potential for trouble.

"What's the princess doing here?" Harris went forward and stooped her in the mid way.

"Commander Harris, I'm glad I found you. Please help me," Dahlia said.

"What happened, Your Highness?" Harris inquired.

"Sullivan has locked the door from inside. He refuses to open it for me. I want you to break it for me. Please send some of your soldiers with me," Dahlia requested.

Harris was quite stunned to hear her plea. He realized this was a couple quarrel.

"Your Highness, I can't ask the soldiers to break the palace property. Please ask your husband to open the door or you can complain about it in the palace," Harris suggested to her.

"No. I want the door to be broken. That's my request," Dahlia said. "You are like my big brother, Commander Harris! If your sister is harrassed by her husband, then wouldn't you help her?" she questioned him.

Harris's words were stuck in his mouth. It didn't surprise her that Sullivan started harassing his wife already.

"I will help Princess Dahlia," Harris stated and glanced at the soldiers. "Follow me you five," he ordered and left with Dahlia for the palace.
