"So you resigned yourself to forget me, yet here you are," he said, his tone carrying a hint of intrigue.

"We didn't know it would happen," Hazel said softly, her voice faltering. Her gaze shifted nervously to the gently lapping water around them. "When will the boat ride end?" she asked, her tone tinged with desperation.

Daedric raised an eyebrow, the corner of his lips quirking up slightly. "It's only just started," he replied. "You can't expect it to end so soon."

But as he observed her more closely, the teasing expression on his face faded. Her pale complexion and the way she clutched her stomach made it clear something was wrong. His brows furrowed. "Are you alright?" he asked, leaning closer.

"I feel nauseated," Hazel admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She pressed a hand over her mouth, her discomfort evident. "I don't feel good," she murmured, her shoulders sagging as the rocking of the boat seemed to intensify her misery.
