Even with his impartiality toward the war, he is killed by the olympians and imprisoned within Tartarus. But rather than being sealed, he was reincarnated into the body of a boy named Theos. In the time that it took for him to reincarnate into the body of Theos, the world had changed a lot. The people of the Greece gained borrowed powers of the Gods. Those blessed as “Vessel”’s for the gods either use it for war or crime. Now Greece is left divided into many factions, and only the most powerful foe can unite them.

Chapter 1 - God To Man

ZEUS

"HELIOS! YOUR ALIGNMENT WITH THE TITANS WILL LEAD TO YOUR PERISH!"

Zeus yelled out with fierce determination in his voice. The god stood on the tallest mountain in all of the vast world. Behind him stood a legion of future Olympic gods, who followed Zeus with stern expressions on their faces. Zeus' eyebrows flared with determination as he looked up at the sky above him. On the back of his chariot that flew him across the summer sky was the titan, Helios. His brazen, flaming hair was wrapped into a ponytail, which vigorously flowed along with a gentle breeze of wind. His unkempt long beard connected to his burning hair, his skin tanned just by the heat his body secretes. He looked down at Zeus with an annoyed glare, not having the time to deal with such matters.

HELIOS

"Oh, is that so? No part of the Titanomachy have I taken part in. So I suggest you stop playing around before you end up like my fallen brethren."

Helios responded with a relatively calm tone, with a hint of frustration. Zeus could only respond with a snarl as he barked back at Helios.

ZEUS

"You titans, I can't let any of you roam the land or even the skies any longer. That's why we imprisoned the rest of your kind in Tartarus. You pose a threat to the cosmos as we know it; you simply can't be allowed to live anymore."

Zeus spoke with a conniving tone, and a chilling smirk creeped up the side of his face as he stared at Helios. Though he wasn't raised under the tutelage of his father, they acted similarly. Though it wasn't too surprising, they were father and son after all.

ZEUS

"Now, with Kronos stripped of his title of King of the Underworld, Hades will now take the throne. And Apollo will replace you in the skies."

As his monologue stretched on, he pointed at Apollo as the new god of the sun. Helios' expression had remained stern. His patience turned out to be short-lived. If this conversation lasted any longer, then the day would stretch on for far too long. Helios ripped the luxurious ropes off of his body, revealing the uniform of a soldier. The flames in his head raged alongside his rising anger. The headband turns to ash from the intense heat while Helios grabs onto a helmet. Placing it upon his head signified an event that turned to the winds of fate. Helios' hand springed into a palm as a spear made solely of fire appeared from it.

HELIOS

"I, Helios, Son of Hyperion and Theia, vow to kill you, Son of Kronos. Within this life or the next, you will face the wrath of titan Helios."

Helios launched himself off of the chariot. CRASH! He landed down, crashing against the ground that rested before Zeus on the mountain. Helios stood towering over the god, who was just a mere boy before him. His eyes flickered, looking at the spawn of Kronos and Rhea.

HELIOS

"Though I hate to emit it, I might perish here today, and the sun will rage on in my slumber. But there is no more need to talk. Let's begin, ZEUS!!"

Helios tightened his grip on his spear of flames. His fiery grasp was so hot that his flames turned blue. On his other hand, a shield was held, one that helped him win any battles in the past. Helios pointed his spear of blue directly into the face of Zeus.

ZEUS

"I assure you, this day won't last forever. Apollo will work quickly to replace you."

Zeus' silky silver hair flowed solemnly in the wind, and his diamond blue eyes could only look at Helios with pity. There was no malice for the destruction of all the titans left; he already knew that he had won this war.

POSEIDON

"Yo, personally, I feel bad for you, man. Titans were bound to not last long in this world, you know."

HADES

"Exactly Poseidon. Even if you are one of my dumbest siblings, I must agree with you. Your friends were born with the destiny to fall to us."

Poseidon shared his brother's amount of empathy toward the fallen titans. His teal eyes gently stared at Helios as he scratched his stubble beard. Hades agreed with his fellow brothers. Zeus' hand lifted into the air, raised high and proudly. Thunder came crackling down from the heavens until it finally embraced Helios. BANG! ZAP!

On that very day, the blazing sun was torn from the sky, and all that was left was the endless darkness that came with the night.

After the death of Helios, the Olympian Gods claimed victory over the titans, sealing them all within the walls of Tarturus. Except for Helios, since the day of his death, he was never to be seen again within the endlessness of the cosmos. But the world had to move on, and so it did.

With the Olympians in command, humanity was created by two titans who had sworn loyalty to Zeus. Prometheus and Epimetheus. Humans began to populate the earth, but there was a specific region that was closest to Mount Olympus that the gods began to favor.

In return for their constant sacrifices and offerings, the gods gave the people of Greece something special. They loaned them the powers that they possess. Those who held the borrowed powers of gods within their bodies were named "Vessel." . As the years passed by, more and more gods lent their powers to the people of Greece. But with such power in the hands of a mortal, chaos was bound to unfold. Those with the power of the gods began to abuse it, and soon the states of Greece were divided with eternal conflict between them. In this new era of war and chaos, Conduit's were chosen by proving themselves as the most elite warriors, even without their power. Then, when they gained it, they were shipped right off to war.

In the 490s of the 5th century, Athens, Sparta, Thebes, Corinth, Argos, Megara, and Rhodes waged war on each other, effectively breaking Greece apart. Now children don't dream of becoming rich and successful, but rather of becoming soldiers and dying in battle for their country.

???

"I AM HELIOS, SON OF HYPERIO AND THEIA!"

A boy awoke from his slumber in a puddle of sweat and musk. He grasped his forehead, drenched in sweat, as he tried to gain a grasp of reality. Though, as he woke, he strangely yelled out, claiming that he was a god.

???

"Ya'know, in the history books it said that he was the God of the Sun, too lazy to try and stop the Titanomachy, so he let his own brethren be killed. You don't want to be a bad guy like him."

A young girl criticized the actions of Helios, though the boy only responded with a look of annoyance. Darkness—that's all I remember for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Now I'm here, the God of the Sun, speaking to some insufferable little girl. Helios thought as he looked around the room, wanting to become more aware of his surroundings. His arms. His legs. His entire body. Was it smaller?

Helios (???)

"Who are you, girls? You don't bear any resemblance to any of those young gods, so you can't be one of their descendants. Where is my chariot? Where is my helmet? Where is Zeus? Where is my body?"

Helios in his new-found body began to bombard the girl with questions. Before he could finish, a sudden pain washed over his head, causing his body to be drowned in torment. Just like that day.

As lightning clapped, thunder came pouring down from the skies, desperate for connection with Helios. As they grasped hold of each other, Helios was embraced with a surge of electricity. His muscles froze in response, giving the Olympians the perfect chance to attack. The ground shook as Ares charged forward to attack Helios with Athena at his stead. Though they were both gods of war, they were completely opposite. Ares relied on brute strength, wielding a broadsword clad in armor like that of the Spartan's not yet born. Athena, in the same armor yet somehow lighter weight and a skinny blade, used to skewer any foe that crossed her path.

Ares gigantic broadsword smashed down upon Helios. SLICE! Originally, Ares had planned to cut Helios's head clean in half, but instead Helios managed to avoid the life-ending attack just barely. His head swung to the left as Ares' broadsword dragged dung into his shoulder. Blood spewed from the wound. The flaming eyes of Helios began to dim, but don't for one moment think that that was the end of his tale. CRUNCH! Helios tightened his grasp on his flaming spear in his right hand with one swing to dig straight into the ribcage of Ares. SWOOSH, SLICE!

ARES

"AAAARRGHH!!"

The God of Violence screamed out in pain, trying to hold back his yell. The flaming spear that cut right through the bone guarding his vital organs may seem like it was the thing that caused the most pain. But rather, it was the spearing pain that the spear generated. The heat from it charred his organs without even touching them. Blood poured from the side of Ares' mouth. However much pain Ares was in, it couldn't be much more or less than Helios.

ATHENA

"UNHAND HIM! DAMNED TITAN!"

Athena, who had been running in the shadow of Ares, decided to make her presence known. SWISH, SLASH, SLASH! Her quick and precise movements resulted in a series of slashes that greeted Helios. Two deep cuts had manifested on his right arm due to the blade of Athena. Though even with his arm severely damaged, Helios hadn't let go of the spear still lodged in Ares' ribs. While Ares' greatsword was still stuck in Helios' shoulder,.

HELIOS

"Get the hell. Off of me."

Helios had always worn a stern expression, but suddenly he had become more pissed than he had ever been in his life. He now knew how close he was to death, so he did everything that he could to prevent himself from crossing over like his brethren. A sudden burst of heat erupted from all corners of Helios' body. The heat was so intense that it caused the broadsword lodged in his shoulder to begin to melt. Those closest to him would also feel the effect of his rising body temperature. SIZZLE, POP! The thick skin that protected Athens and Ares bodies began to burn and boil, slowly peeling off of the bone. This provoked a quick retreat from both of them. SLIIDE! Both of them slid off the smooth surface of the mountainside. With them falling back, Ares released his sword from its position in Helios' neck, causing even more blood to pump out of his neck.

HELIOS

"I can already see that my end is drawing near. But at the very least, I'd like to take at least one of you with me."

Helios said it with a shallow voice. His eyes began to dim. The spear in his hand ignited with energy as Helios launched it forward at the head of Hades. The veins on his muscles bulged as the spear flew through the air. A menacing darkness emerged from the confines of Hades' pitch-black cloak. While Helios had the ability to control the raging flames that sparked from the sun, Hades' could control the darkness that enveloped the world. TSSS!! The darkness wrapped around the flaming spear, slowly cooling it into nothing but mere speech. While Hades attempted to control the spear, he was left distracted, giving Helios the option to strike.

HELIOS

"Pay better attention in your next life; THIS IS THE END!!!"

Helios yelled with all of the energy that he had left in his body. Helios had already positioned himself behind Hades, as he was busy handling his spear from his front. Hades' lifeless eyes widened as his eyes snapped back to look at Helios. Helios' fist ignited in flames, and he prepared to punch a hole directly through the body of Hades. But before he could even swing, BOOM!! SPLASH!! Poseidon pointed his finger at Helios with his hand in the shape of a gun. From the tip of his finger, he fired a bullet made solely of water. Within the bullet, the fierce and furious power of one million tsunamis was condensed into a single bullet. His messy brown hair was repulsed by the firing of the bullet of water.

HELIOS

"I see. It's over."

Helios spoke with a voice devoid of energy, emotion, patience, anger, sadness, or anything else. He looked at his arm, which was not severed from the elbow down. He fell to his knees; his body no longer had the ability to move, let alone fight. STOMP, STOMP, STOMP. Zeus loomed over him with the look of pity still prominent on his face.

ZEUS

"Pathetic."

He looked down at the now-fallen titan. As he spoke, the sun began to dim, and night was about to set in. Helios, still defiant as ever, spit in the face of Zeus. His saliva is as hot as molten lava, burning the flesh on Zeus' face.

ZEUS

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!! You damn insolent bastard. I'll remember this day fondly."

Zeus screamed out in a mixture of pain and anger. He raised his hand in the sky as lightning once again crackled within the clouds. The head of a dragon, forged from thunder, peaked through the clouds. It flew towards the ground, wanting nothing more than to annihilate Helios. When it hit the ground, BOOM!!

HELIOS (???)

"I'm dead."

Helios, now in the body of a boy, spoke out. He had come to remember the events of his past life. Reflecting on his memories made him desire one thing. I will kill the gods. Because he had gone from GOD TO MAN.
