With his skill and strength, he deserved to be part of the grand spectacle the minister was preparing, gathering the strongest of warriors to be part of that exhibition.
The event would be attended by the strongest personalities in the kingdom and the world.
Rob became known for his strength, speed, and skill. He managed to easily win all his battles, leading him to the final showdown against another talented individual. They ascended over hundreds of corpses they had killed with their own hands to participate in that battle.
The battle between them was intense and thrilling, but the other person seemed to have the upper hand. Despite Rob's skill, the other individual was the favored candidate and had more control over the course of the battle.
Suddenly and without warning, Rob managed to strike the other person and emerge victorious. However, it appeared that the other individual had allowed him to win. When the shield fell, revealing scars on the back of the other man, Rob noticed traces of a past event that seemed familiar.
When the torn clothing on his back revealed, Rob discovered that the scars were from a tree trunk that would have fallen on him when he was little. However, his brother had taken the hit instead.
Before Rob could react, something unexpected happened. An army entered the arena, killing everyone. It was led by the former general from the Luchi clan. After a long exile, the general succeeded in staging a coup, and no one knew how he returned or formed this army.
He then proceeded to free all the slaves, offering them the choice to join him. All of this didn't matter to Rob.
"What is the defrent between me and those who killed my family, at least they killed a strange people when I killed Sons of my clan,Without any hesitation, and not a single tear shed for them. And worst of all, I killed my brother. Throughout my life, I claimed that blame forced me to live like this. That's why I killed without hesitation or remorse. But I'm not forced to do so by anyone. No one in this world can force someone to do something. I did it willingly. I could have ended my life and relieved everyone of my evil, but I chose to be villain. Exactly, there's no excuse for evil. Choosing to do wrong is a conscious decision, and no one is forced into it.My brother saved my life, and I repaid him by killing him. I didn't even approach him to hear his last words. Each person I kill starts moving their lips to say something, but I didn't give it any importance. Who knew that I would end up killing my brother, and in the end, I didn't even hear his last words,I was a bad person; there wasn't a shred of mercy in my heart. If I had been human, at least hesitated a little, perhaps the attack would have happened before one of us killed the other. But because I was a monster, I did what I did. He realized I was his brother and let me win, while I didn't even recognize him.." Rob remembered what he said to him self then,"Since then, I have decided to atone for my sins by saving slaves and rescuing them from living a miserable fate similar to mine."
"I see that you are immersed in thought." Rick woke him from his thinking.
"Yes, I find myself contemplating my actions and the path I've chosen." Rob said.
"That doesn't matter, just do your best and don't look to the past" Rick said with a smile.
Everything that happened to him caused him to go through a terrible psychological shock. It was as if he were frozen, not knowing what to do. But his brother's death woke him up, made him realize the extent of the crimes he had committed, which began to return to him as memories and torture him.
He didn't have the ability to kill himself; he had come to love himself and life. He had begun to kill to survive. So, he decided to continue his path of killing, but this time, he knew exactly who he needed to kill.
In the beginning, his journey towards redemption for his sister began. He would go to places where slaves were sold, killing everyone and freeing the slaves. He continued to live in a whirlwind of blood, killing everything his eyes saw. He could unleash his sword to cut down anything in his path so that those bad memories would leave him. However, all of that didn't help and only made him drown deeper in the seas of hate and blood.
Finding his sister again would have allowed him to taste the sweetness of love and emotion from a member of his family, compensating him for what he had missed. However, he failed in this endeavor. Despite the large number he killed, he did not succeed in finding her. This made him even more lost.
Therefore, he continued killing and freeing slaves to find psychological relief, but it wasn't enough to make those bad memories disappear.
Then Harold came to him like a ray of sunshine amidst the darkness, and he told him his plan. In Harold's plan, Rob found a more organized way to channel his anger. That's why he joined John and the companions, so he could direct his anger towards the right path.
